Nice little park to go and workout.

It was a beautiful day at a beautiful park! Just one thing, need Restrooms closer to the entrance for folks that may have trouble walking so far.

Visit times r very relevant, when all the teams r out playing/practicing, plenty of adult supervision. Go when its alone or dark, u may run into some interesting activities

It seems like people are living in the park....be careful.

This place isnt as friendly as it used to be. I used to come here as a child and you felt safe. I swam at the pool, I enjoyed the little historical schoolhouse, and we always went to the Fall Festival at this time of year at the end of October to see the clown and the music and what was on sale. It was like a little fair for the city. It was busy but cozy. Now, it feels like the cast off shell of that former glory. The city needs to turn this location around and make it great again. Dont walk alone or too late at night.

This schoolhouse from 1886 was the 1st #Palmdale historical building. It’s great around these parts. I love that we can walk to historic stuff by way of Joshua tree groves without even getting in the car. #lancaster #antelopevalley

This park has many facilities. The swimming pool water was clean and nice. Parking is easy and convenient.

Monday - Thursday the pool is open from 12pm-3pm for the summer. They do charge $3 for people above 48 and $2 for people below 48. Families of 5+ they have a price of $5 total. Cash only is accepted. I didnt see this info on the Palmdale website. Staff at the pool are friendly.

Small but good play area. Not busy when i have gone.

Great park. Tennis courts, baseball fields, public pool, playground, and large gazebos with grills and benches. The only thing missing is an adult workout area (pull-up bars etc.), but this is a great place to take the family.

Dont go after dark Lots of soccer and baseball tournaments

There is baseball, basketball, soccer, BBQ grills under patio covers, friendly neighbors, kids playing all the time, theres also a poll in the summer, lots an lots of parking, we could fine those people who walk their dogs and are not cleaning after them.Other than that awesome....

Great place for family for little money

Im at McAdam Park especially on Tuesday and Thursday at about 11am-1pm thats when MANNA MINISTRY serves a Hot Meal for Free to the Community. The kids are all playing and having fun, its so wonderful everyone is happy and peaceful the food is always home cooked and its really good too.

Park is clean and decent, I just wish the sprinkles wouldnt cause a big mess with the water.

Love this small park took my kid swimming for lessons she learned in two summers. Shes 20 years old now and has her on child that she takes there as well for lessons and I take my new baby up there for walks and this summer she will be in there swim lessons as well

Nice calm park has multiple tables and has a playground for little kids as well as older ones and the grass is good to play soccer. Is crowded on weekends for soccer games. Heated pool in cooler weather and cool pool in hot weather

Very rude life guard the life guards at that park are use to sitting all day and not ready for the kids who are more faster or need more redirecting

Its a great place to go for r a walk . The problem is in some areas it seems people urinate instead of using the public bathroom.

It a great place for soccer and has two baseball field but it needs better play enjoyments for children and more shade it gets very hot in the summer and only has one water fountain that works. The seesaw is broken the cement under it has turned into dust and can be harmful to children if inhaled or ingested.

Wonderful place to spend time with your family as long as you dont need to use the bathroom, they have Graffiti all over the walls and they are not too clean

Its nice to have a place to pull over & relax with grass and shade trees

A desent park to visit with the basic necessesities however, this park can be unsafe. There is a mobile home that is parked in the northeast most corner of the parking lot, it is there everyday during the complete park hours. The people who own it treat the park as if the park is their resisdence, they have multitudes of their friends there throughout the day. This group continually throw parties with lots of alcohol, marijuana and other drugs. They are usually loud and their visitors are threatening. I was threatened by their friends when I tried to park in a handicapped space, my car has handicapped plates, but I ended having to park at a farther spot because they were using the parking spots for their speakers for the load hip hop music. The park Rangers were there that day and when a group od us complained the Rangers told us that we should just use another park, they didnt want to get involved.For your families safety, this park should be avoided. The city doesnt care about visitor safety, either that or maybe they are getting a payoff or free drugs from these occupants of the mobile home. If the city would rid the park of these squatters, it could be a nice park, but for now it is unruly, violent at times, open drug and alcohol use and park Rangers do NOTHING to clean it up.

While not sure what else goes down in this park, there was a movie night going on, my friend and I stopped here waiting for his girlfriend to be ready. (She lives down the street) anyway as we were leaving the movie night was beginning and this woman was welcoming everyone. Then as I am about to drive away I hear sir? Omg sir why are you bleeding so much, someone call 911. Sir where is the blood coming from All of this was just being said into her mic so that all could here. We thought it best to leave, but it was mucho fun.

Its where we Manna Ministry serves food to the homeless and everyone who wants to eat we start at 11 till food is gone on Tuesday and Thursday on Tuesday Thanksgiving for all 11-20-18@ 11 till gone @McAdams Park 30th n R behind 7- 11 COME ALL.

Theres a lot of things to be curious about here. An old school, a military memorial, a huge field, baseball field, walking trail, a pool, bbqs, picnic tables and gazeebos. Plus the bowling alley right next door!
