For free, there is a lot of history here. Not very often you see a B-52 look small next to another aircraft. Pretty cool to see the plane the space shuttle piggybacked on. If you are in or passing through palmdale, its a great place to spend an hour or so!

It is a lot of history in a well kept and accessible space. The grounds are well kept and the aircraft and associated parts and accessories are kept clean and the pride of place is obvious. Bring a snack and a stroller for the little ones. As there is no admission there are donation boxes for those who wish to help keep the park going.

The place is ok to visit if one happens to be in the area, but wouldnt make a trip expressly to the site from far away, there are few interesting planes with a footnote for people to know about each plane, it has a small souvenir shop with a couple of attendants that were military pilots, very friendly and interesting gentelmen to talk to. However, no museum on site, there is no admission charge to walk around but donations are welcome and encourage for upkeep of the premises. Bathroom facilities are available and are kept clean. Overall I would recommend it if you are in the area.

Great place to walk around and learn about Aerospace companies and their accomplishments throughout the years. Its free to go in and there are paved trailed to walk around and view the different airplanes. I love that they have picnic tables underneath the planes so you can have a lunch under the shade from a wing. Place is very clean and safe. Highly recommend.

We had friends from out of town who were in the air force with my husband. This was the perfect destination. They had worked on many of the air craft. Now for me I found it amazing to get so close to the planes. The plane that carried the shuttle Endeavor is here. If you go to the California Science Center you will see the Endeavor close up and it is huge. So imagine it piggyback on the plane here in Palmdale. There are also fighter planes of all shapes and sizes. A small gift shop with more information and it is FREE. Kids were enjoying it as well as the adults. There is a soda machine but no food. Plenty of parking. All level ground so easy walking. Take a camera or cell so you can have friends and family with a super background. All in all a good place to visit.

I would like to thank Kathleen for her kindness and generosity with her time for giving my family and I a tour of the place while it was closed. We arrived to the airpark this morning to show my grandson some of the planes on display when we noticed that the park was closed. So we park on the street just to take a look of the planes from the street when we saw Kathleen and she very generously offered to give us a tour of the place. We are very grateful for the time she took from her own schedule to show us around

Having visited many aviation museums and being an air force veteran I was very impressed with the condition of the planes. The paint jobs were fresh and expertly done unlike other nearby aviation locations, the selection of planes was better than you would think in a small desert town location.
