Absolutely worth doing, but not as good as the original. The perspective is wonky to the point where the Eiffel Tower looks sort of like a letter C unless you are seated right in the center. Still the visuals are awesome and the transitions between the scenes are very well done and that sensation of almost flying is still there. I just wish they had done a better job getting the perspective right.

This ride is amazing to look at different landmarks around the world. The mechanic of making you up in the air is cool, as it feels like you are flying around the world to different landmarks. This ride is probably one of my favourites in Epcot.

One of the best rides in Epcot Center the sensory overload was very very cool. This place is truly magical. Sight, sound and smell were all manufactured. I highly recommend this experience.

One of the best ride in the park. We were twice and did not regret that we went again. Best time to ride after lunch time, because you will encounter large queues for ride in a first half of day. Also I recommend use second (middle) door and first row for the best impressions.

This HAS to be the bast ride in Epcot. the CGI was great. The 70 minute wait felt only like 45 real minuets. They over exaggerate the wait times and the queue and interactive stuff that you can do off your phone like a fun trivia game for land marks around the world! It is a MUST DO in Epcot!

Such a fun place to enjoy and create memories with your family. They have awesome themed rides, amazing eateries, easy access into the park, great shopping experience, and kiosks with rare Disney collectibles. EPCOT has so much to do! Our favorite times there we’re spending time in the World Showcase & the Soarin’ ride (it’s well worth the wait). If you’re looking for collectibles from all over the world, visit the World Showcase shops and kiosks. We purchased so many neat items that will be enjoyed for years to come. If you’re ever on the Disney Property I highly recommend visiting EPCOT!

Too much CGI. As soon as I noticed the computer graphics, it took me out of the moment. Its beautiful and well executed, but these are stunning visuals that stand well on their own. They dont need computer graphics or additions to make them more extraordinary. If you have never been on this, I still recommend it, but I will likely not ride again.

Pretty much the EXACT same ride as Avatar flight of passage. The difference being this ride you are sitting up with photo realistic scenery vs crouched over flying through the imaginary scenery of Pandora. However, I believe both are fake scenes, at least partially. This ride feels more like you are flying than Avatar.

Jo
Review №11

The best row to get is B1. Row 3 is low, and sections A and C are not as good due to the sharp curvature of the screen, unlike Flight of Passage over at DAK. They will give this to you upon request. Concourse A and B, the original theaters, are better because you cannot hear the scent spraying out of the nozzles, which is very loud in concourse C. If you go in the evening, the line should be short. If it says 15-25 (typically in the evenings), that means you can normally walk all the way to the separation of the queue for the different concourses (waiting 3-4 rides from that point). You will not get shorter than that.

Excellent ride. A little old now but still a lot of fun. If they’d change the trip every 2 or 3 years that would be awesome. One of the better rides at Epcot.

Mi

One of the more enjoyable rides in the park though kind of short considering the lines can be approaching two hours at times. Fast pass is a must. This park needs more attractions in general. Having been here some two dozen times its difficult to find much of interest.

Review №14

Soarin’ is a delightful calm experience gliding over many natural wonders. The experience is mind blowing. The lines are normally long so we always get a fast pass. Today however the lines were not very long only a 30 minute on standby so we rode a second time.

Ch
Review №15

Youre on a chair that goes up in the air in front of a HUGE screen. The video is a tour of the world, showing many famous places around the world. With the rotating/tilting flying seats and light wind being blown in at you, it really feels like youre flying. The only downside is that, even with a fast pass, the line is really long, which is why it got a 4/5.

Jo
Review №16

Great ride! Fun seeing Patrick Warburton. Try to sit in the top row (row 3) so youre not seeing dangling feet during the ride. The line is usually long but its worth it. Not scary at all. You feel like youre flying but its not jarring.

It relaxing but stimulating ride. It is a ride for all ages. It takes you around the world showing some of the wonders of the world. It hits the senses of smell, sight and sound. Its also great for when it is hot. Plus with the Disney Play app you can play trivia while you are in line.

This is by far one of the best rides Disney World has to offer, it takes you around the world like nothing you would have experienced before, this is fun for all the family an absolute must, if like my family you will want to do it again and again, it really is that great.

Soarin Around the World, I wish there was more to this attraction, feels short and ends abruptly. The attraction could easily feature some more dips and turns to make the attraction more enjoyable. Maybe make 2 zones like Mission: SPACE? One that has this basic movement, then another thats more intense that has the more turns and dips.

Soarin’ is one of our top must do rides at WDW. It’s one of three at Epcot that we always try to get Fast Passes for. We liked both the original American Adventure flight and the current World flight. We love the details, like the smell of the surf as you cruise over an ocean. The top row of the ride is the best because you don’t see the other riders below you. This helps suspend the sense that it’s a ride and Not an actual hang glider. Beware though that on the top row the screen is rounded slightly, causing a minor warping of scenery. Sort of like a cat’s eye effect. Definitely worth a wait if you have to go through the Stand-by line. Try going first thing in the morning to avoid the longest lines.

Pretty decent ride, we were lucky enough to come right before closing so the wait time was short. The ride gets loaded with pretty big groups so it does go through quickly. The ride itself does give you some beautiful views of places throughout the world which is in line with Epcots theme.

Best ride in this park. We did it 7 times last trip and couple of times the recent trip. It’s amazing if you get right spot. Ask the operator to be in the middle section to get best experience. One can try and describe it in words but it is absolutely amazing. If you have a fear of heights you may want to sit this one out or decide to get over that fear for this experience. You are elevated, stories high in a long row of seats and the seats move slightly with whatever your experiencing on the screen. It feels so real, the smells, the wind and the way you feel as if you are literally soaring over the different places is magical.

Review №66

My first ever ride experience at Walt Disney World so it will always have a special flare for me. The ride itself is best experienced from a seat in the center due simply to the curved screen the video is projected on, causing seating on the ends to have a somewhat warped view. The ride takes you around the world as you soar over landmarks and landscapes. It is a 4D experience which means you will be able to feel the rush of air as you soar and also smell the dirt of the safari view, the jasmine of the Taj Mahal etc. The ride is always popular so you will certainly want to look for a fastpass in order to avoid long waits. And remember, look for a spot in the center!

My favorite ride at Epcot! Beautiful sights, sounds, and smells. It feels like you are actually flying as you soar over the cool locations around the world. My 3 and 6 year old kids were a little scared due to how realistic it is and the occasional fast moving bird or building coming towards you.

This is a very well done ride and the kids absolutely love it. For my for year old it was the first time and she came out beaming about flying. The lines can be long but worth it. This is the top ride available at Epcot. Its a motion simulator that flies you over various world landmarks. You sit in a virtual hangglider and the ride tilts you in synchronization with the screen to make it feel like youre flying. They also pump different scents into the room to make it just that much more realistic. Try to get a fast pass or head here first. Theres not a lot of rides at Epcot and this can have long lines all day.

This ride has you sit in a row of seats that are grouped in three rows and you are then taken as though you are flying throughout various countries in the world but you are actually static and its just the screen that change a although your senses make it feel as though you are moving.
