This was one of the most outrageous lines Ive ever seen. This has traditionally been one of my favorites. The ride itself is great. Especially when decorated for Halloween, giving it a little bit of extra spook. On this day, however, the line stretched from the Haunted Mansion all the way around the corner to near Pecos Bills. As if that wasnt long enough, it doubled around on itself in the middle so you completed one of those laps several times. In the warm weather no less. One of the biggest drivers, I believe, is the need for social distancing as people struggle to be six feet apart in a line this long. And for some reason, the crowd at the Magic Kingdom was amazingly huge. It is pretty hard to believe theyre operating at a reduced capacity. The setting sure doesnt show it.The park hours are reduced, but in all honesty, if you can come later in the day and stay to near the end, the lines reduce dramatically. The lunch crowd seems to be about the peak of the hours. As it was, we stood in the line for nearly an hour. The good news is we kept passing drink and ice cream stands as we did so. The consequence is that this line is about a 4 ice cream sandwich line.

One of the best dark rides. The stretching room preshow is currently not being used so you do walk straight through it. Great social distancing being used in the queue, so it looks longer for the wait then it really is.

Nice spooky atmosphere on the way in. Good affects inside. The only problem is that the crowds are so dense and the staff sort of rushes everybody through. The painting at the beginning gets sort of glossed over and you cant hear all of the Ghost Hosts lines. Its a real shame that they cant slow things down and maybe reduce the group size a little. But then the wait times would be longer.

One of Disneys greatest creations. I love this ride. I remember the fear as a child and I now see the same dark ride fear as my children ride it. It is fun, whimsical and a little bit creepy. The perfect haunted house. I recommend you go early as the line feels up fast. The cast members are great and okay there parts perfect. You may never want to leave!!;;

This is a must ride for the Magic Kingdom! It is awesome and hasnt changed over the years, but doesnt feel dated at all. It is fun for kids and adults alike. The car rides you through the mansion and you see ghosts dancing, playing, and even riding home with you. It is so much fun. It isnt a thrill ride by any means and would be fine for children. The line may be long, but it really does go fast. The cast members are always so friendly and helpful. You will enjoy the ride and have so much fun. It really is a must do while visiting the Magic Kingdom!

My absolute childhood favourite & not too scary for little ones. The cast members seem to have toned down through the years though. Our favourite section is probably the projection mirrors at the very end. The shop is located across the street from the exit of the attraction & sells a fair few gothic items which don’t seem to be available in other stores across the park

Fun Fun FUN!!!! This is a Disney World classic ride! It is still as good as the very first time that I can remember riding with my family as a child! Some things may be a little bit frightening for the really younger children but, its more fun than it is scary! Theres usually a pretty long wait for this ride. Get fast passes if you can but, fear not if you cant because the line moves pretty quickly as its an on going continuous ride!

Haunted Mansion itself is as I remember. The experience of reserving it months in advance only to have to slog through a massive bloated FastPass line was not. Once again Disney obviously released too many fastpasses and ended up with a huge crush of guests they couldnt accommodate. Was explicitly told by a cast member that standby was entirely closed. Waited forever. Missed my next ride reservation window. Guest services? Zero help.Ugh.

This was the first ever ride that we took on arrival at the Disney World. What an experience!!! People, especially children shouted and cried due to fear and anticipation. Was a great place to be. This let us realize how wonderful our tour of Disney and all its theme parks as well as Disney Downtown would feel like. Later on, every one of my family members confirmed that this stay at Disney Orlando was the most beautiful thing in their lives️️

Classic ride that is still engaging and amusing. The queue is always long, but as soon as you get closer to the mansion you can get lost in its architecture and beauty. Ill be honest and start by saying Im not a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion.I think Disney did an amazing job in the amount of detail and creativity the put on this attraction and the atmosphere it has throughout most the experience.Whats great about this attraction is that it starts great, very spooky, eerie and gives you that initial rush of fear for the most part. What disappoints and ruins it for me is towards the end where everything becomes super silly and very kid-friendly and it takes you away from the initial feeling of fear the attraction set out to give you at the very beginning.I can understand why its set out like that as its technically meant to be for kids, but it honestly feels like a massive downgrade towards the end.

It’s a fine ride I guessBut it’s not really that scary, or at least what we expected it to beThe beginning was cool, building up tension with all the moving parts, but then we got through the whole thing without a single jump scare and halfway through our squad ended up jamming to the skeleton music playing and before we knew it we reached the end

Walt Disney World’s Haunted Mansion is one of my absolute favorite attractions! The special effects never get old. This ride is classic and timeless. Your experience begins in the queue winding through the interactive graveyard. (Can you find the Bride’s ring?) From the infamous stretching room, to the Ghost Host narration, Madame Leota, dancing ghosts and everything in between, you will have a spooky, entertaining time on this beloved attraction! Haunted Mansion is mostly awesome! Good for most ages, if theyre not timid. My only, and I dont want to call it a complaint, issue(?) would be, if youre in a wheelchair, you have to wait on line twice. Once in the regular line, then again to wait for the transferable cart. The cart is not wheelchair accessible, you do have to transfer, but even if you could get on quickly, they have to stop the entire ride for that one cart that comes around every ten minutes or so. So even with fast pass, it takes quite a while to get on the ride.

The Haunted Mansion is located in the Magic Kingdom of the Walt Disney Resort properties in Orlando Florida. First of all, it is NOT a scary ride and more on the silly side...It is technologically amazing to see the audio animatronics in action. 999 happy haunts follow you from room to room in a continuous motion vehicle. This a another must do ride when at the Magic Kingdom...

This is a great ride. Ive seen it in Disney Land resort and in the magic kingdom in Florida and like them both. The Florida ride is slightly longer and has a little better scenes, but the line and ambiance of the Disney Land resort ride is nicer. The ghosts are not scary even for little kids, and the ride itself is immensely enjoyable. The hitchhiker ghosts at the end are really fun and the kids love looking all around to see them in real life.

I’ve always overlooked this attraction, because it never looked that interesting. So I finally did it, and wasn’t blown away, but it was good. The wait is typically 40-80 minutes depending on the time. The time is definitely worth it to some, but not to me.

Jo
Review №97

One of my favorite rides at the Magic Kingdom. The queue has things to see and play with as you wait, but once you get inside thats when the real fun begins. Its a nice slow ride through the mansion, getting to know all of the 999 happy haunts. Than you get kicked out the attic window into the graveyard below and you get to see all of the friendly apparitions in the graveyard. If you have photo pass there is a new section where you get your picture taken with one of the happy hitchhiking ghost as you go along on the ride. If you have little ones just know it is a dark ride, but not scary at all and it is nice and slow with no drops. Though if you do have problems being in a confined room with lots of people, you might want to let the cast members know, and perhaps skip the first room you walk into. The room gets really crowded and on a hot Florida day can feel a little claustrophobic. Also know that the cast members here are in character, so they will be a little pushy and blunt but at no time are they rude, its just part of the attraction. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this amazingly fun dark ride.

Be
Review №98

One of my Magic Kingdom favorites. If you are there in the day time, dont forget to look for the homage to Mr. Toad in the cemetery after you exit just past the horse drawn hearse on the left. If its dark there is usually a cast member close by who will shine a flashlight on it for you.
