Great attraction the mix of fiction & educational facts is awesome. The video loop could play back to back so we have a chance to see/hear it all with the lines moving faster & theater doors open

Super cool ride but not for smaller children! My daughter was tall enough to ride but we didnt know it was going to be so intense. A lot of loud noises and darkness.Great for older kids and adults though!

Love this place !! Super-fun for any age. The ride used to be called Countdown to Extinction ! but was changed to coincide with the release of the animated movie of the same name many years ago.

The dinosaur animatronics are unconvincing and most of them dont move much beyond rocking back and forth. From the way the ride is promoted I was expecting something better. These are not any better than the universe of energy models and perhaps even not as good.The ride vehicle jerks and bounces you around annoyingly. If your idea of a good time is driving over railroad tracks and on poorly maintained dirt roads, you will love this ride. Otherwise, not so much.

The line was blissfully short.. Thats the only thing that made the ride worth the effort..

Favourite movie of my childhood so it was a must to check it out. Loved all of the attractions at Animal Kingdom!

Cool ride thats needs updating. Disney make a new movie about Dinosaurs thats good and not a souless cash grab so this ride can be retheamed.

Not one of the best experiences at a Disney park, but still fun nonetheless. The rides is dark and scary for little kids and you get tossed around a bit, but the animatronics are very cool.

Im not as crazy about this ride as its very jerky motion wise and makes me feel sick afterwards typically. Neat if the motions werent so uncomfortable from the vehicle.

It was a great ride! The few complaints are that their is no Tyrannosaurus Rex. Some people think the Carnotaurus is a Tyrannosaurus, but its not... Also, the rides animatronics dont move all that much, and their, I get the ride is old and the animatronics are outdated, but they could be redone.

Always fun. Always exciting. Lost my wallet and the staff were right in it... Got it back in less than five minutes.

40 height restriction!This is a fun little kids ride, this isnt a rollercoaster, instead it just bounces around quite a bit.The premise. Your in a time car, and your back in time to get a dinosaur... But ... Well you gotta ride the ride to find out.. Im not supposed to say its a secret Some scary moments for small ones, my 4 year olds exact words were it was a little scaryFlashing lights, dark moments, and big loud... Dinosaurs!!!

I loved this ride but the entire ride is pitch dark. My 6 year old got scared.

This simulator ride has aged well as dinosaurs seem to have timeless appeal. Its dark and a bit rough but all in all a good ride.

It’s such as fun ride! Even waiting in line, there are decorations which make it so cool! Once in the ride, the decorations and props make it so thrilling!

This is a good ride about a Dinosaur secret mission by the Dinosaur Institute. You will have to ride and learn about this mission yourself.

Surprisingly scary! Super fun cool ride, I highly recommend it. It is like the Indiana Jones ride.

Gimmicky, antiquated, and rickety to say the least. We had a fast pass for this, mostly because it’s all we could get as persons not staying on the resort on one of the busiest weeks of the fall/winter season.I wouldn’t bother with this ride if it were more than a 15-minute wait. The animatronics are severely dated and anything but fluid, the lighting in the ride awful (you can barely make out any of the dinosaurs), and the whole storyline of the ride kind of lame. My kids enjoyed it, so I’ll still give it a few stars, but personally speaking I’d not bother going back to this ride unless you had a fast pass or the wait was minimal.

This is one of my fave rides at dsneyworld! hope they never get rid of it! the scare level, asteroid, and jerkiness and dinosaurs ate what make it great. dont ride if you are chicken.

Love this ride everytime

This was a very fun ride, would be a little scary for small children. Warning: Very jerky and hang on! But I would highly recommend this ride, it is a blast for adventure seekers.

There are real fossils to view and take pictures of in the que including a life sized model of a dinosaur that isnt real but makes for a great photo op. The ride is a great combo of calm and thrill so can bring your tiny humans along without worry.

Love this ride/experience. My kids cant get enough! Not enough fast passes for this in one day. So much fun for all ages!

Was expecting a disappointing version of Indiana Jones Adventure, but ON THE CONTRARY this is really cool. Great for teens and young adults, very bumpy, kind of frightening in spots. Maybe too much for little ones but a classic ride. Hope it lasts.

Dated. However still remain as entertaining.Last time went on was almost 7 years ago. Still enjoyed it.

It’s a fun ride. Our son got scared when he was 5 but now he loves this ride. It has good effects and ride is little intense. Some jerks and fast acceleration but not too bad. You will need fast pass unless you want to wait for an hour or more. It’s easy to get fast pass for this one. It’s quick ride too. We did it few times to enjoy it thoroughly.

Even though the ride is a bit dated, it was enjoyable. Since it is a bit older the wait times are much shorter. It does have some jerks and sudden appearances. It can thrill the adult and definitely entertain a child.

This ride is intense. It is one of my favorite rides. I would only get on if you don’t have any back problems. If you don’t have any back problems, you may develop some after this ride.

Like all parts of Disney, this place is great for young and old. Lots for both as my kid found things for her while giving time for mom and dad to read and look at the stuff geared for adults.Id say if youre planning on spending time here, give yourself two hours to see and do everything.

Awesome attraction that is an amazing thrill ride. I don’t recommend taking little kids in here because they’ll probably have a panic attack and some nightmares to follow. Older kids, I think they’ll enjoy it as long as they understand it’s just a ride. Other than that, it’s amazing and I highly recommend you ride it if you’re there.

Love Dinosaur. Its a fun indoor dark ride semi coaster. It has a great feel similar to Indiana Jones in Disneyland and the Mummy at Universal. Its a fun and exciting trip into the land of the dinosaurs with darkness, twists and turns all around. A fun ride for anyone...

This has always been a favorite of mine as a kid! Recently went on it again and it still holds the title for my favorite ride. It’s dark, it’s loud, it’s a thrill! Perfect for anyone who loves Dinosaurs wether you’ve seen the movie or not it’s an amazing experience. I would be devastated and heart broken to see this ride leave animal kingdom. It’s a true masterpiece!

Fun ride, but very dark. You ride in a three row 4wheel drive and go back in time to find a special dinosaur and of course run into some trouble on the way. I have a full video of the ride attached. Again its dark so there are parts of the video that you cant see much

What a nice spot to rest with the little ones and grab a quick bite. Always a spot we visit each trip. The little ones enjoy the rides as well.

This is a very cool ride. It gets dark, loud and bumpy on this ride. I do not recommend riding this if you have eaten in the last hour as it shakes you up quite a lot in the dark and tries to discorient you. It has a few jump scares near the end of the ride that may be intense for younger riders, or older in some cases. I know what is coming and I still jump every time, but that is why I like it so much.

Amazing ride and amazing team operating it! My son literally pulled into the unloading station yelling We did it! High-Fiving anyone within reach :D Soo, of course he had to have the LARGEST dinosaur (not outrageously priced), and Christina (from Columbia) packaged it with care. Ensuring my son understood how allergic his new best friend was to water...and SO much appreciated! Thank you again...Yall did it! :)

This is a decent dark ride, I dont like how jolting the ride is, thats not to say this is a bad ride, because its not, unfortunately, this is where Universal Studios has the better dinosaur ride. But during the summer, its a good get out of the heat ride.

This Ride is Epic! The thrill you feel on this ride is amazing due to the time rover’s movements. This reminds me of Indiana Jones in Anaheim. This ride isn’t as good as Indiana jones, but it’s a fun time. One thing I would say is maybe this ride is kinda scary for the little ones and a little bit for me. And this attraction is a little outdated so maybe an update would be nice.

Fun ride. Travel back in time in a Jeep to see Dionos :)

This ride was very scary to me as a child but now is a very cool ride. While the ride is somewhat dated in years it is still functional and upkept so that also adds to the atmosphere of the ride itself.

Dinosaur is my personal favourite ride at all of Disney World. It’s loud, dark, in your face, and never gets old. Might be scary for kids. The pre-show could use updating, but it isn’t a problem.There are no screens on this ride, it’s a good length, has a great storyline, and has quite turbulent motion. Dinosaur is a must-ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, it’s just perfect!

This was much cooler than I expected! There were some jump scares combined with a fun story and good use of lighting and movement. Young kids would probably be scared but it was a fun non-thrill ride, worth a reasonable wait.

Very fun place to eat...Definitely need to be a Landrys select club member makes it a faster and smoother experience.

One of the most underrated attractions on property. Using the same ride system as Disneylands Indiana Jones ride, this is a dark ride in the long standing Disney tradition. Originally called Countdown to Extinction but rethemed slightly for the computer animated film Dinosaur, this ride takes you back to the cretaceous period in an adventure that is complicated by a greedy employee who tries to bring back one of the extinct creatures, an iguanadon.It uses a 3 row off road style time rover which has the ability to lurch back and forth stimulating rough terrain, speed up and make daring turns. Its not recommended for guests with back problems.

Ride was awesome and totally unexpected

High budget and imagination go into this thrill ride. Dark and intense if a little dated.

Rather cheesy sci-fi storyline steers this large articulated buggy on a track ride that can be very intense for younger riders. Dinosaurs are neat to see in their well-articulated forms for the brief few seconds you get to enjoy them in the ride. Lots to learn from the queue line too that has Bill Nye hitting you with some knowledge.
