What an amazing place to go eat and have a great time. The atmosphere is great, the food delicious, service is very attentive and the entertainment is OPA!!! I recommend their 36 hours marinated lamb chops. They are tender and delicious. Their pita is good. I will definitely be returning. Next time you are looking for a place to go on a date or simply have a good meal, this is the place. Dont forget to save room for dessert. Last but not least, good cocktails and wine.

Honestly we had the best experience! Christina is such an amazing waitress/host. The food was wonderful and the belly dancers were so amazing to watch during dinner. The atmosphere is so beautiful and lively! The best part was when we got to dance on the table tops with the staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

LOVE this place! It never disappoints. It is loud, so dont come for quiet conversations. Go for GREAT food, the BEST service and super fun atmosphere! So glad to get in without a reservation. They did have outdoor seating and spacing due to covid. So happy to see it open and with the awesome Greek belly dancers! Loved the hummus, gyro and Greek wine!

Wow! After a long day at Disney this was just the meal our family needed to recharge. Everything was fresh, delicious and oh so satisfying! If you are visiting or a local, I highly recommend you give this place a try. Very impressed!

This place is a great stop if you want entertainment with your meal. Although the food was alright in my opinion the vibe, ambiance, belly dancers and crowd participation was worth it. I am a huge foodie so I wasn’t impressed by my meal but I did love the pita with the seasoned oil dip. I had 10oz filet mignon that was well prepared and tender but lacked real real flavor. I also had to change my drink from the “Hercules” to the “Orlando Mango” (if you’re like and love sweet drinks this is a great choice) because it tasted like medicine. Overall I fully enjoyed myself and would definitely recommend this place. I know I’ll be back!

When I dined here, I did not have a very enjoyable experience. My server was very nice, but did not give good service. He served me cold marinara sauce with my calamari, which is supposed to be hot... The calamari was good. I had the filet which was good as well. The lamb was not the best. For dessert, we ordered the Greek style donuts. They were awful! They were extremely extremely dry and had no flavor. We sent it back and asked for the baklava instead. That was not good either. It is a very touristy restaurant. I would not suggest it to locals.

I went here with family during Magical dining. This place was so much fun. We never knew they had live entertainment at night. The belly dancing is so awesome. The food tasted excellent. It was an overall good experience. We will be back.

I’ll give Taverna Opa 3 stars because our server was excellent and attentive. I can not recall his name but we sat on the patio and he was tall and well built. We were at the table directly next to the outdoor host stand. I will express again that the server was fantastic! I called earlier today to make a reservation and there were no issues with that. Whomever I talked to on the phone easily made me a reservation for 4 at 6:30pm. We arrive promptly and are sat. Our server asked us if we had been there before and thoroughly answered any questions we had about the menu. All 4 of us selected to do the Magical Dining menu. I ordered the cocktail flight (all of the cocktails were yummy) but one of the glasses had lipstick on it from a prior guest. No issues there, just get me a new one please! From there both the appetizers and entrees were delivered to the wrong table-minus my sisters Greek salad which we had to wait on. (Next to us) the appetizers were never set down on the table so no biggie. My husbands entree was set down in front of a guest not in our party and then still served to him. This is not acceptable-Covid or not. From there I cut into my Filet to find it was a very well done medium well rather than the medium I had ordered. I mentioned it to the server and asked if I could have some sauces to go with it. He brought me out some delicious sauces but it was still inedible in my book for it just being a Filet. I took it to go and I am hoping to doctor it up for a quiche I am planning to make this weekend. My complaint is not about the service, it’s completely about the restaurant being unorganized and on top of that a manager never stopped by the tables after so many mishaps! After being in the industry this is not the correct way to manage a table that encountered so many errors. A friend of mine worked for Taverna Opa in the past and informed us that management does not care and will not try to do anything for a guest when mistakes happen, in fact this former employee told me that she was told by management that because the music is loud if someone complains just walk away like you don’t hear them. I’ve been in the industry for 16years and have never worked for such incompetent management. We won’t be back, but thanks for having us!

This place is awesome! Truly has the feel that you are being welcomed into a Greek family celebration. The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly and happy to be there, the owners are great people, and the food is second to none. A great experience top to bottom. My first time and I was not expecting the CONSTANT NIGHT CLUB STYLE MUSIC. I was there to celebrate my friends 50th birthday and we could barely hold a coversation. And though this is not your fault the rest of my poor experience is. The service was slow, the drinks took about 10mins and I had to send one of the cocktails back. The waitress took forever to take our food order. When the food finally came there was nothing great about it. We ordered calamaries and had to order the cocktail sauce, and even though we ordered 2 plates they only brought 1 and then had to go back again for another one for the other serving. I ordered the lamb chops and they were might as well be called lamb nuggets. Additionally they were fatty and over cooked. The presentation of your meals is poorly executed as well. The green beens looked like they were poured out a can and sprikled with some seasoning. We also ordered desserts and again the presentation was not appealing. My baklavah was TINY, old taste, and full of oil. The wet dirty napkins all over the floor makes your restaurant even worse! Again, shame on me for not researching the restaurant before. Over all my experience was nothing more than mediocre and above all it should not be concidered as a fine dinning experience.

Me and my lovely lady came here on a Friday night during Covid randomly...it seemed like everything was closed but we heard some music and came up the stairs. The long story short is that the party was definitely going on here, and we were seated shortly after arriving. The price per plate is 35 dollars per person and includes appetizer, entree, and dessert. Christina was our server and her attitude was very amazing. I love the vibe here and the DJ was throwing down for a little. I can’t complain during the pandemic, way to go guys! You stepped up when everyone else closed down. . The food was very good btw, and price was just right!

My second visit. The first was awesome... so I thought my mom and older brother from Colorado would enjoy! You guys did not disappoint! Let me just say my brother is hard to please! He was pleased!

What a delightful experience. Delicious food and cocktails served in a fun atmosphere. Sat at the bar and received excellent service. I was pleased with the Gluten Free options, and chose the lamb kabob. The belly dancing show was definitely entertaining. Napkins rained from above and didnt seem to end. I cant find anything to complain about.... oh wait. Taverna Opa is in Orlando and Im just visiting. Cheers or should I say Opa.

Friendly, Fun atmosphere with great food and authentic Greek entertainment.THE best lamb this side of Greece, and dont sleep on the House made pitas with mortar and pestle hummus.The music and entertainers have everyone out of their seats, dancing, throwing confetti(cocktail naps) and yelling OPA!

Reservations were made a week prior....had to wait 45 minutes to get a table. Once seated... service was slow... was celebrating a birthday and we had to go up to the host 3 times to see if one of the dancers would perform for the table. One of the plates was supposed to come with 2 sides and instead of letting us know they ran out of one of the sides they didnt say anything they just gave it like that without apologizing or seeing if we wanted something else.On a better note atmosphere is pretty cool if youre into loud music and dancing on tables.

Food was ok. Not great. Very loud and fun place. If your looking for a unique place to have dinner with friends, its a good experience. Not for kids in my opinion. I ordered the Ala carte which was $35.00 and you get many options to choose from. The Baklava was disappointing and small portion. My family had a blast. Just not my type of place. Greek salad wasnt a good choice either

Taverna Opa is a nice place to have good Greek food. I need to give you a heads up, the restaurant needs some acoustical treatment, the place is normally crowded and is impossible to carry out a conversation with your party. If it is a business meeting this is not the place to go. If you want to go out for a good time with friends, enjoy a nice show with the belly dancers and for some reason the throw a lot of Napkins everywhere while having some great Greek food this is the place to go!

We waited 30 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. It was very busy and unorganized. The food was good. The atmosphere was fun and party like. The music was so loud that we could barely hear the waitress. I liked my wine, my husband did not enjoy his cocktail.

The Filet Mignon and Lamb Chops were superb. Perfectly seasoned and juicy. Calamari was good and veggie accompaniments were very good, too. Service waa good. All around, very good place to eat. Prices were fair for what you get.

The place by itself is pretty good, but the process to order the food thru the menu is really tedious and complicated specially if you are going in group. The show was excellent and the food was ok.

My party had a reservation at 6:30 we arrived 15 minutes early and had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we could check into the restaurant. After checking in we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. There were plenty of tables available so we asked the hostess why weren’t we being seated and she said we had to wait 10 minutes for a large party to show up. By the way they checked in after us and only 3 out of there 14 people party was there at the time. After 10 minutes we asked the hostess again about a table the was left open they said no they couldn’t seat us and proceeded to sit another party with the same exact amount of hues who checkEd in 20 minutes after us at that table. They ended up moving the party from the table and putting us at the same exact table that we had asked about earlier. Very disappointed and will not be coming back again. This is the second time we have had this problem with reservations. Being skipped over for parties who check in way after us with the same amount of guest.

I wasnt impressed by the food and the fact that there were birds inside the restaurant turned me off. I actually sent my calamari back and got a salad. The gyro meat was sliced and did not look as if it was cut off the Döner kebab.

I’ve been to this spot several times and each time the food has been amazing. The first time I went to dinner with my fiancé and they had a belly dancer which was a pleasant surprise.They have menus via QR code which is great for sanitary reasons. If you’re looking for some delicious greek food with a great atmosphere this is the place to go!

First time here service was great! Only one server because of Rona and she had a couple big tables, ours included. The food was good. I would definitely recommend and come back to this place!

VERY loud; could hardly hear ourselves talking. Food was good but service was disorganized; brought the wrong food more than once (not what you want yo see in a post-Covid environment).

Classic Greek food... Done very well, service was fantastic, and the vibe was lovely. They even serve hummus that you crush yourself(first time Ive seen that.) And for those with younglings, they even have a kids menu. Its not a quiet place, but more of a good place to kick back with friends and family.

Great place for groups (even with social distancing), the food is amazing, service is great and there is music & entertainment with the belly dancers.

You are walking in to a great party. Lots Of music, noise, belly dancing and napkins flying. If you want a quiet night this is not for you. Great for celebrating birthdays, wedding parties and girls night out. Food is good staff does good job of keeping it organized.

Don’t visit Taverna Opa expecting a quiet romantic dinner.  If on the other hand you’re looking for a lively venue, with quick service, and delicious food, you’ll find yourself in the perfect spot.Within minutes of being seated, the nightly belly dancing commenced.  Shortly after, mounds of paper serviettes were being thrown around like confetti at a wedding celebration. What a lively atmosphere!The complimentary hummus (mix and grind yourself) was unexpected, and delicious!  While the slow roasted lamb was so tender I didn’t even need a knife to eat it. Don’t expect pretty food, instead simply enjoy the great flavours.I wouldn’t call the service friendly, but then again, with all the noise being created by people happily talking, laughing and celebrating, it was hard to say much to anyone besides those seated next to you!With food as good as this, and a fun atmosphere that can’t be beaten, I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m in town.

What a great place! If you are looking for a fun atmosphere and great food then you have to stop her while you are in Orlando! This was a group event for us and we laughed and danced the whole time. Thank you to the whole staff for such a great night!

Have been here before and the food is amazing so wanted to go again. We showed up on June 27th and were seated immediately, unfortunately it doesn’t appear as if they are practicing social distancing. There were tables set up right next to each other and all were occupied. The area we were in the tables had no more than 2 feet next to each other. We felt uncomfortable and left.

Loved this place the atmosphere is awesome! Eclectic mix of upbeat music with beautiful belly dancers, plenty of dancing on the tables and a seemingly endless shower of napkins raining down! Had the sausage and pepper appetiser and gyro for my main, both were fresh and delicious! Bar staff were friendly and service was in good time! One of the best dining experiences in Orlando....you gotta come and try it!

Wonderful restaurant! Beautiful atmosphere and great food. Loved the table side hummus. Saganaki is a must. And, if youre looking for a meal to split, the Poseidon Platter is worth every penny.

Gabriella was so nasty and rude. she said she was a manager jesus why this place have a manager so rude and nasty. i was there Saturday night and i would give zero stars but the other manager and server made the dinning experience way better. but Gabriella i think she cant get fired cuz the way she is she doesnt care about her job. she needs to be let go cuz her nasty attitude is disgusting.

I have visited a few times. We dined on the outside my last visit for a quick bite to eat. Previous experiences were great. My hubby enjoyed his lamb gyro. My chicken kabob was descent, service was okay.

Taverna Opa is one of those places which is known for their party like dinner atmosphere - which is why I only go for lunch! They have a broad Greek menu with all the favorites and an awesome hummus presentation with a mortar and pestle. The spanakopita is a good starter but does taste reheated. The gyro is great and tastes fresh with yummy Greek fries as an side.The outdoor porch is nice if the weather is good , although the “abandoned” atmosphere of PointeOrlando leaves a lot to be desired. Service is fine but nothing special and the prices are “tourist area” high - another reason to come for lunch! Parking is the worst part about visiting - you have to park in a paid garage and they only validate part of the cost.

I went here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. It was a GREAT experience. We had so much fun with the Belly Dancers, servers, and hostess. The DJ played awesome music. The atmosphere had the most energy I have ever since in a restaurant. AND, the food was good. Thank you Opa team for making my Birthday so Amazing!!! I will be back again soon.

Ive been to this lovely location twice and I love it! The food, atmosphere, staff, everything was outstanding. My first time here was on a Saturday late night dinner. We went to celebrate my brothers birthday and we didnt stop laughing and smiling from ear to ear at the fun and the great music the restaurant has. I will say it was VERY busy so we had to order everything up front because of how long it was taking to get our orders including drinks. We were aware of how busy they were and it didnt bother us as we honestly were having a blast seeing everyone dancing, throwing napkins everywhere, and eating the awesome hummus. The prices are on the high end but the food along with the atmosphere is outstanding!Now, to my second visit which was on Fathers Day (Sunday) I had decided to go earlier in the day to avoid the rush and to my surprise the restaurant was dead. There was no music playing, no belly dancers, no rush. The price for the food remained the same exact price which to me was a Schock as the atmosphere plus the food made it worth it to me from my first previous visit. I was very disappointed as that was the main reason why I brought my father to celebrate his special day. We did ask the manager about what time they typically start the music and was told at 7PM (he may have said 5pm sorry cant remember now) but since it was Fathers Day and they noticed how busy it was getting they began the Fun at 5pm. We waited from the time our reservation was at 2pm all the way to 5pm. After that I was satisfied and happy to have spent $200+ now thats worth it! But, not before 7pm.

I was hoping for Greek experience and music. It did not happen. County! Techno! Rap!!! Anything but taverna music. It was loud and not what we were hoping for.

The food was very good, but the reason why I went to this place was because of the belly dancing presentation. I got there around 6pm with my family and had to sit outside because we didn’t have a reservation. A server told me to not worry because the dancer also go outside, so we’d be able to enjoy. We left around 8:30pm, the only times we could see the show and everybody else having fun was when we walked and stop by the door to try to see something inside. Very disappointed :(

Our server was FANTASTIC and super attentive. The hummus and moussaka are not to be missed - both ABSOLUTELY divine. Try the sangria!

This was the best restaurant I have ever been to. We had an epic night, so much fun. First of all food was outstanding. Dancers were beautiful and entertaining. The uzo shots, standing on he table were the best. Music was perfect and the entire atmosphere was so incredibly fun. Loved, loved loved this place!

We booked a baby shower to be held at Opa and we were blown away! Everyone was very attentive, from helping with the setup, to providing excellent service! The food was phenomenal, above and beyond anything we could have expected! For a group of about 100, everything was prompt and perfect! Thank you all for literally everything!
