Love this bar! This is a great place for concerts and small enough that everywhere has a great view of the stage. Its newly renovated to have a bigger stage and better sound. Two bars makes it easier to grabs drinks during the show.

Ive been to about 10 shows at SoundBar and its always great. The stage is pretty big for how small this venue is, which means you can get a good view no matter where you stand. The sound is always good which isnt always something I can say about The Social or Wills Pub. It can get hot but thats true of every small venue Ive been to in Florida. Definitely one of the best places to see live music in Central Florida.

I went to the sound bar on Valentines Day to see sumo cycho, Wednesday 13 and the 69eyes. I was in a wheelchair because I have a fracture in my back that makes it painful to stand or walk for any length of time. The staff was very, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The gentleman guided me through the crowd to get me to a spot in front of the stage. I was safe and happy. When the three bands were done. The staff made sure to guide me through the crowd and safely to the front door. I would definitely recommend the sound bar to anyone and it was definitely worth the hour and a half drive.

Went for a show with my family and service dog. A staff member at the front harassed me for having service dog and said they did not allow dogs, even when I explained it was not a pet. He was very rude and condescending and asked for its ID to prove it was a service dog. If he actually knew the law, he would know that service dog IDs are not a legal thing. I also do not have to disclose personal information like medical conditions or disabilities to a stranger. However, if he was respectful I would have no issue with informing him about the law, what my dog was trained for, and why it was necessary for me to have her. I would have even showed him my personal medical ID as proof of condition. But the way this situation was handled was absolutely demeaning and inappropriate. He left little room for reasoning as he became increasingly belligerent until two other staff members had to step in and explain to him how he was breaking the law. Without correction or apology, he relented and let us in. It ruined the entire night, we ended up leaving early because it left such a sour taste. Horrible and embarrassing experience. Read the ADA or talk to the authorities about the law before you enforce something you have no clue about.

We came here for the first time to see a Math rock band (Delta Sleep). The employees were friendly and the stage was large. I am surprised the venue doesnt do a better job of advertising. Their website banners were a few months out of date (so make sure you check the calendar when looking for events) and the only sign outside they had was a sandwich board that someone wrote Delta Sleep on really small. Not even bubble letters. The sound and lighting was A+. The lighting person synced well with the bands and added to the experience. The sound was well balanced. There is plenty of floor space, and its very wide so you arent too far from the stage no matter where you stand. There is a small mezzanine space for people who dont want to be packed into the crowd on the floor. The bathrooms were clean.

Small venue. Place was packed for the Ice Nine Kills concert. Holds about 300-350 people. They had free ice water for everybody. Awesome little place. Convenient pay to park parking lot on the corner right across the railroad tracks. Not even a 5 minute walk away. Definitely needs to expand and add more fans. Highly recommended

Have been to many sold out venues, but none as crowded as this one, hard to believe its not a fire safety issue. It was extremely hot inside also. Drink prices were decent.Would be a very nice small venue if adequate AC was added and they cut the capacity down.

Absolutely dreadful place to see a show. They cram far too many people in a space thats too small and EXTREMELY poorly ventilated. I had to miss the headliner for the show because the entire venue became unbearably hot after an hour or so. The staff was great but nothing was going to fix how miserable the overall experience here was. I dont care whos playing here in the future, I wont be back and Ill be sure to tell any bands I like who book there that they should reconsider.

No AC for a sold out show. Glad we showed up late because there was no way I was going to sit through that whole show in there. It was at least 100 degrees. People were passing out initially because I thought they were drunk but it was probably from the heat. The tips of my fingers were shriveled from wiping my sweat all night. Not worth it in my opinion. Especially since I drove all the way from Tampa.

The only reason it’s getting 2 stars, is because the bands were decent. This place was not even busy, but the temperature was about 87+ degrees inside. It was so hot that I nearly passed out and I hadn’t even had a drink yet. The bartenders looked like they had some cool air, but even they had bad attitudes and were rude. I would never go back here again. I paid at $10 cover charge to be drenched in sweat and feel sick from it. The last band to play, the singer had to take off his shirt because he was so hot. He made several comments about it during their set. This has been a great place to see bands over the last 25 years, very intimate place with decent sound, but the temperature inside made it unbearable.

Kind of grew with this venue. Performed here several times, and probably will a few more. I remember when it used to be called Backbooth, and one of my colleagues’ dad bought it out and renovated. (Don’t know how true that part is.) Nonetheless, it’s ALWAYS a good vibe at this venue, no matter the event. Sound system is always on point. Not much can be done about the spacing, but it makes for a more intimate show. Gave four stars because the restrooms could be way more cleaner!

This place is such a great small level venue for concerts, its so intimate and you can get right up close to the bands. The sound and view are good from anywhere because of the venues size, which is also nice. I always enjoy coming here, the only thing that consistently drives me crazy is that the floor is always super sticky. But thats nothing new for a venue that rocks hard and causes people to spill drinks I guess. Cest la vie! Ill always come back here anyway.

Went to this place to watch some friends of mine play a show. The bar doors are covered in signs that say no crowd killing yet they allow tons of morons to do it. I ended up getting elbowed in the face when I wasnt even looking. The security took the guy out and I continued to watch the show. Then after a few more songs they came back in and made me leave. Mind you I never hit the guy back the only thing I did is the same thing literally everyone does and push him off me. They were very rude and even after I left I was informed they allowed the other guy back into the club when he was the person hitting people. I will not come back to this venue and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Its tiny the sound quality is terrible.
