Posting for my fatherOctober / 11 / 2020Lakeshore Landings2000 33th streetOrlando Florida 32839This is a 55+ community managed by Sun Communities.This community is managed by unscrupulous people, who manipulate, lie, and discriminate against their residents. They use methods of intimidation and abuse, with no accountability from any of their employees. We have problems with The Manager of the Community, Sales Agent, and a Handyman (all of them live within the community) we reported to the corporate office located in 2777 Franklin Ave, Suite 200 Southfield MI 48034 all of our problems and concerns in writing and mailed with return receipt requested. We asked to speak with the supervisor of the manager, she gave us a call and she was extremely difficult with us. She began defending their manager and their sales agent (who are buddies). We notified headquarters in very detailed dates of every single thing that happened to us. They covered up. Local news it is been here in the past 4 years and not for a good reasonIn these difficult times of COVID 19 Organizations donate food for tenants in need and managers misused those resources and don’t distribute them equally between the tenants the ones she dislikes got whatever she wants to give them. In four years, this community has 3 permanent managers and other one’s temporaries. They do whatever the no scruples agent wantsIt is important to remember that this is a community for elderly people, some of them are by themselves, some of them don’t have anybody who can protect them and are at the mercy of all these horrible individuals. Check the review of Sun Communities across the United States of America; they are just the worst.

Always nice to visit my friend there great pool too however the city nees top put a ramp top get on and off that new sidewalk because where bus stop is no ramp i have to jump my electric wheelchair off the curb...Owwwwww and the residents struggle to pick their 3 wheeled bikes up to put it on sidewalk and not safe to ride in road

Nice place to live.Pretty friendly neighbors.Beautiful Lake Catherine with canoe and small boat launch.Activities and Rec Hall.Pretty much all you need.One down fall.Lot rent has increased every year since I have lived here and getting pricey for a Mobile Home Community. Much higher I could have my own property and pay a Loan company for the land !!

Lived there for 3 years good place to live.

Our beloved sister in faith lived here for many years and was very happy with all the other neighbors, she passed last month but another friend is taking over her home. This place is awesome, it even has a boat ramp to go into a canal and a pool. The best part is that is right next to the police station on 33rd St and right next to I-4. The Millennia Mall is only a few minutes from it. You would like it very much.

Rent prices go up at least $20.00 per year.Very overpriced considering the location.Rio Grand and OBT area.Plus residents have to pay the property taxes even though they do not own the property.Does not make sense.

Next to Jail, observed several of just released or possibly visitors that appeared to be prostitutes of All varieties walking front of park. Gate usually open and no guard on post. In park, was treated rudely as visitor by resident and staff.If u want to live by a jail, need hookets, and want to live with some of the guards this is your place

Discriminatory and very clicky.... Moved here almost 2 years ago and never felt welcome. Say it is a gated community but the gates are open all day... Buyer beware...
