The staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our many questions and were very knowledgeable. The owner showed us their long term residents, many of which were rescues such as a 50+ year old clown fish and a blue hippo tang. It was obvious that the owner and her employees really care for the fish and their health. They dont pressure you into buying and really want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. Even though it is a smaller store their tanks are clean and well maintained and all their fish look healthy. They also have great prices and some more unique finds that you dont always see in even the bigger stores. We will definitely be making the 1hr 45 min drive to go back some time.

As usual very friendly and resourceful, none of the fish purchased there ever got sick unlike those from the huge stores.

Came in an hour before closing to look around and ask a few questions as I am starting a reef tank very soon. Anthony was very helpful and knowledgeable with everything I asked. They didnt have a sump that I was looking for so Anthony is looking into special ordering one for me. The selection of corals and fish were great as well. Everything looks well taken care of. We will definitely be returning to this store.

Several months ago we were faced with the task of moving our long established reef tank to a new home and contacted Sea in the City about handling the transition and upgrading to a larger model. We discussed the process and equipment with Marcye and were given a very fair quote so we decided to move forward. Anthony and Austin did a fabulous job with setup and initial cycling of the new tank, then moved all of our corals and fish, using our existing rock and a few new pieces to aquascape the new tank. Not only did it look fantastic, we did not lose even one specimen in the transition. Their level of expertise, customer service and ongoing support is the best weve ever received and we cant recommend them highly enough.

Just jump back into the hobby after a few years off so Ive been kind of looking around for a local store for any immediate necessities. This place is pretty cool its kind of small and doesnt really look like a store at alll from the outside. that is great selection of stuff however some of the things that I was looking for they would have had to go order which makes sense because its kind of specific and a little bit higher end. The guy behind them Connor was pretty great he helped me out with questions I hit head because a lot has changed in the couple of years Ive been out of the hobby. I like this one better than the first one that I had gone to strictly because that first one felt a little pretentious. Im definitely going to be going to be going back but I did think some prices in my coral was a little high.

The owner is really really really helpful.... Not in a good way. Shes trying to sell you on everything thing she has. Very aggressive in her sales. Most of us have an idea of what were looking for, or are just browsing for options. I wouldnt say stay away, but at the same time just know this lady is all about that cash... I do what i love for work. I make money and am happy with the results of my work. Love of money isnt a job. Give her a shot. She says she gets most of her stuff from topshelf in Longwood. I dont like those guys either. I loved their store until I had a problem. Anyhow read my review on them.

One of the best places Ive been in the area. Ive been sifting around checking stores out in the kissemee Orlando area. I will say I liked world of corals. But was more impressed by the low key atmosphere here. It was a moderate size store with tons to offer in terms of fish and corals. The employee was very helpful, but honest in the fact he didnt have all the answers. Considering they were in some repair of there other facility with the hurricane damage. I am sending my brother there to do more shopping. I did pick up a shrimp for a gift. Thanks again

My wife and I stopped here while on vacation from Ohio. Decided to purchase a few frags which made the drive home with no issues. They really know theyre stuff here. Definitely recommend.

Didnt know what to expect when I happened upon this little shop, but man was I impressed. They have a nice selection of livestock at reasonable prices. The employee I dealt with (I believe his name is Charlie) did a great job or walking me through everything and answering any questions I had. He was very pleasant to deal with and really knew his stuff. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I will definitely be coming back.

We are new to this hobby. We have been going to aquariums all over Orlando and Melbourne thinking they have better stuff, not even close. Nothing comes close to Sea in the city, hands down! They have been very helpful and honest in helping me find whats best for me and my tanks! Where many places could and have taken advantage of my not knowing any better, the employees at sea in the city have helped tremendously! Once while in the store, a customer came in, unhappy bc their fish had passed. They gave that customer a new fish and some other stuff! How great, being new I make mistakes, knowing if I did it would just come out of my pocket$$, but they will have you leaving feeling happy! Stop going to other store just wasting your TIME!!! and MONEY!!!

Decided to make a tour of Orlando-based salt-water fish and coral stores. Based off Google reviews, I selected World Wide Corals, Sea in the City, The Living Reef, Top Shelf Aquatics, Longwood Reef Aquarium and Stormborn Reef.Here is what I thought about Sea in the City:I’m not local but I found Sea in the City to be somewhat out of the way. That said, it was a very clean and well set up store that provided an equal balance of fish and coral. Their corals were not labeled so as a “newb”, I was not able to learn as much as I had hoped from visiting the store. The two staff members were willing to answer questions but not overly proactive in establishing a rapport. They had a number of large tangs the had significant fun and body damage but were obviously well fed and cared for; likely they adopted them from harsher circumstances as the fish were now in a great setup and environment. This was the only fish store that offered barnacle blennys and I was hard pressed to leave the store without a half dozen of them. What a hoot watching them!

I just bought a tank and stand and some stuff that goes in it...a very helpful crew in the store to purchase the items and get it all home...you can tell they have the experience and dedication to help old and new people starting up aquariums and growing corals...nice job all around by Marcie, Jes, and Chris!!

Fantastic gem of a reef store. Huge coral farm that they use to propagate corals sustainably, keeping our reefs safe. Tanks are clean, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They also offer free water testing if you need a 2nd opinion on your test kits (always a good idea to get a 2nd opinion in case you have a bad batch/expired testing reagent).Finally, they have one of the oldest maroon Clownfish in captivity. Marcy loves him, and you can tell that he is a member of her family.

This is by far the GREATEST fish store in the Orlando area. The staff always greets me politely when i walk in and answers any questions that i have no matter how dumb the are. I am new to the whole saltwater tank thing and the help me with evrything that i need and dont try to sell me things i dont need. All in all the best place for anything dealing with saltwater aquariums

Not a very good store sold me a sick fish so had my water test and it tested good a other shops they said they would order me another fish but keep on giving excuses on why they have not got it would not buy from them again much better stores in orlando then this place

I walked into their store and I was looking at their high end corals and they were stereotypical and directed me to the ten to fifth teen dollar frags because they thought I couldnt afford them but I had more than enough money to buy those $200 corals they gave me a bad taste in my mouth for their store
