I do costume design for film and frequently end up with more than I can manage at home. The SCERA has always appreciated my donations, and it makes me feel good to see them worn in various productions. As a non-profit, I can also get a tax deduction, which is so helpful with all the sewing I do on these costumes. Our daughter is an actor and world-class mezzo-soprano who wore many of these over the years. I hated to part with them, but its nice to know they went to a good home. reallyrachel (dot) com if you would like to hear her voice. ;)

Always great performances at the theater. And we usually know at least one person in the cast. Snacks are great too. Theater is older which has its charm, but presents challenges in a wheelchair. The chair space is tight require me to adjust forward or backwards to allow people in the two affected rows to pass to their seats. Since the floor is at an angle, it can be challenging without assistance, so come prepared.

I love being able to take my whole family to fun, kid friendly, affordable shows and entertainment. The SCERA is not just amazing center for the arts it is an amazing center for the family. My family has made so many memories there - from watching Michael and Jane fly in Mary Poppins, to laughing to the point if tears at the comedy show, and being inspired and blown away by the Backwards Piano Man.

This place has so much history. I wasnt sure if the tour was going to be worth it but the tour guide was so nice we decided to give it a try. I was so surprised! You get to walk all around the opera house and even sit in the same chair the president of the United states sat in when he came to watch the shows! If you have time totally check this place out!

A real hidden treasure! Movie plays on a massive screen in front of a large traditional style theater that rarely is ever over-crowded, usually get great seats with space to spare.Concessions are slightly cheaper than chain theaters nearby like Cinemark, and the quaint, traditional style is very charming.Ive yet to watch a live play, but it is something I very much look forward to.Truly a diamond in the rough for moviegoers. Highly recommend!

Small town but high polish. I dont think they make them like this anymore. Not-for-profit, but amazingly supported by the community. The building is georguos. We went to a concert; it was top notch entertainment while still being intimate. For some reason the audience seemed to be filled mostly with the older generation, but I dont know why... This is a great facility. For movies they have one of the largest screens in the state. They also have an outdoor theatre where they put on dramatic & musical productions in the summer.

This place is old school cool. Its been around for as long as I can remember and its been a big part of Orem and the surrounding community. If you expect theater seats to be like some of the new theaters with their luxury loungers, you will definitely be disappointed. Seats are old school like youd find in an old school Auditorium. Still comfortable and in good repair. The outdoor events they hold you in the summer are great. Lots of concerts, please and other such things. You can purchase tickets for the whole season, or for individual events. The Museum they have there is pretty cool. Lots of local things to look at, as well as a lot of history. Its in the main building, right next to the theater
