My kids love the castle on the playground, and the park is clean. I wish they had more swings, but it helps my kids learn patience and to take turns.

Very nice park, busy, and lots of sporting areas. Very clean and litter free.

Big and roomy with lots to do. Diving pool, slides and lazy river.

I haven’t gotten the chance to explore the whole park, but it includes soccer fields, pool, playground, a fishing pond, and a big path around the park. On Wednesday’s and Saturday’s there is a farmers market in the morning. The path and pond are nice. The playground is a fun castle, it’s not super new but the kids don’t seem to mind!

Huge. Farmers market on certain days. Small lake. Mini putt putt golf ($5). Batting cages ($$). Basketball court. Walking/ running trail. Restrooms! Water park (closed now due to pandemic). playground. Very nice location. Peaceful. Lots of green. Baseball and softball fields. Soccer field. Amazing place!

One of the nicest parks in the area, have been coming here since I was young and its still amazing. Lots of varieties of birds and a well kept trail with activities along the way.

We love miniature golfing and the batting cages! Nice staff!! Family fun!! You can buy the summer pass through groupon and save a bunch if youre planning on going more than once! If not, its still an inexpensive fun thing to do with the whole family even without the pass.

We were driving around looking for a nice place to walk our little dogs on a beautiful afternoon, and found this fun little park. It is really quite amazing...actually it is a sports complex with fields of all kinds of sports. It also has a playground, an aquatic park - complete with a lazy river, and a fitness trail that goes around the perimeter. It was a beautiful park, nestled in a very nice community. Safe and lovely. There is a mile walking trail around the park. Childrens playgrounds, ball diamonds, soccer fields, and a very nice neighborhood pool. A top notch city park, thank you City of Olathe.

Great place for a walk.

First time visiting Black Bob Bay. Nice and clean, large park with plenty of attentive lifeguards and helpers. They accommodated my autistic child on the waterslide so he didnt have to fight the crowd and was able to take his time getting comfortable enough to go down, which takes patience. Food was decent pool concession fare and came out quickly. Only two things i would like to see different would be more shade around the pools and some way to cool the concrete while walking around, which is typical of any water park. I will be back!

The pool is great. My grandkids thought it was great! The price is high 50$ to go to the pool?? Johnson county has enough money to make it 3 or 4$. Kids under 5 should be free what can they do? The lifeguards seem very knowledgeable.

Large park with ball fields, batting cages, exercise course, walking trails, mini golf and an aquatic center. Went with a group of people to pick up rubbish, but the park was very tidy. Beautifully kept grounds.

This is a very nice park unless you want to use any of the fields. Even though the city claims they are first come first serve, the citys ground crews seem to enjoy kicking people off the fields so they can work on the field you choose to use. This has been a problem we have experience for 18 months. If you need a place to practice a sport find somewhere else or be ready to pay for fields.

Black Bob Park has a great playground which appeals to many ages. The sticker on the equipment says ages 5-12. I had a couple younger ones with me and they also enjoyed themselves.

Blackbob park is a nice, relaxing, park in the middle of what feels like such a busy City. Sitting on 151st, just after Blackbob, the location is fantastic.The pond in the park is part of the CFAP program, meaning that you can fish it WITHOUT a permit (you still need a license). Ive caught bluegill, catfish and bass from the pond personally,

Our first time visiting this park. It has some upgrading in progress at batting cages and miniature golf but still most of park useable. It has a swimming pool, walking trail, baseball and soccer fields. A pond for fishing. Playground and restrooms. Plu Farmers Market on Wednesdays. Great park.

This is a great park! My only complaint would be that when the ground is wet, the paths fall apart because its like theyre made of clay/mud and gravel. It would be nice if they were paved instead so that they werent potentially dangerous. [My foot slid down one of the hills because it was extremely wet.]However, thats not a necessity, just something that would be nice. Loved walking here!

This is a great park to walk and exercise very family friendly

We used a shelter and grill. The shelter has lots of picnic tables and was generally clean. There was no provision for hot coals or for handling old coals, so bring tools to handle this. There is a big play area for kids and lots of green space for frisbee or other games.

Awesome park for night stroll in Summer. With lots of fire flies, the quite night stroll almost felt like magical.

Park has a water park, batting cages, play equipment for smaller children and walking paths. Plenty of parking in the middle of the day. Tons of shaded areas to lay down a blanket for a picnic, I did see a few tables but they were scattered across the park.

Very nice surburbs park with swimming pool, walking pathes, baseball fields and on Wednesday and Saturday they have a good fresh food market. We have been going for several years and know several of the families. Friends...do check out this park.

Close to several restaurants, HyVee, Walgreens, etc. Love this park!

Fun family park, good place to take your dog

Cool place for the whole family. There is a running track playground swimming park which is really cool. Theres also a baseball diamond and along the running trail they have these cool devices you could do little workout on with directions on how to do them. Soccer field thats just really so much you could do here!

I love black bob park there is a wonderful park for the kids also they have camp there over the summer when schools out but you have to apply early because it fills up fast

Overall a very nice facility with swimming pool, several ballfields, and area for kids to play soccer in. However on a hot summer day when the pool is full and there are multiple ball games going on, the parking is severely limited.
