What a beautiful venue! The staff and overall climate was welcoming and comfortable.

Very impressed! Didnt expect much from the outside but found a very nice, cozy theater with great staff and fantastic performances. They seem to select a good selection of current and popular shows. Very much enjoyed Bright Star!

Its a low-key venue in what used to be an old and very pretty church, but its precisely that low-key quality that makes it so charming and endearing and that enhances its true community theatre feel. The plays are good, the price great, and there are no bad seats: its a small venue and all the seats are close to the stage.Every town should have a community theatre like this one! Go to see one of their plays... Youll be happy you did.

If you want to see real theatre, this is the place! They give it all, new, old, musicals, traditional, farce, drama, comedy. You name it, they do it. You will always see something new here! My favorite place in Kansas City to see some theatre at an affordable price!

Loved the play

OCTA is one of my favorite theatres in the KC Metro. There are a variety of shows. And it is an affordable community theatre.

While I had only a small interaction with OCTA, I was impressed with the venue and theatre area. I have friends who have performed with OCTA and give the association high praise. I will definitely be following their facebook page for updates on performances and auditions.

Ive lived next door to this community theater for more than 4 years, and we enjoy volunteering to help with productions when possible. Great incubator for those interested in performance.
