Our two children take private piano lessons as well as Stage 1 acting at the Greenleaf South location. Acting class is very active. The teacher is a great fit for the role. For piano, Greenleaf offers young grade school aged students either 15 minute or 30 minute lessons. They work on Theory, Technique & Performance. Our children have already performed several times.Without a doubt, our children enjoy piano more than when they started. Because of their time at Greenleaf, they will play piano at home at times outside of normal practice sessions.

We completely love this place for our teenage daughters and son. The leadership is emotionally healthy, academically rigorous and FUN for our children. Theyve somehow gathered a collection of students that are a remarkable set of honoring, kind, and talented young people. Couldnt recommend this place more highly.

I’ve been at Greenleaf for several years now and I can’t imagine who I’d be without this loving community whose goal is to grow together for the glory of God. I’ve grown in mind, soul, spirit and friendships, not to mention practical life skills. The education here is beautiful and personal, there really is nothing like it.

A Christ centered, safe place for my children to grow their gifts with quality instruction. My son remarked the other day that Greenleaf feels like home and I’m apt to agree.

Over the years our family has participated in several local performing arts organizations. Our favorite by far is Greenleaf. Greenleaf remains set apart because they desire to honor the Lord in all the arts they teach and to serve others through those arts. At Greenleaf each student is considered special and treated as such. While being challenged, students receive much love and encouragement. We highly recommend giving Greenleaf a try.

Greenleaf gives youth so many opportunities to discover their gifts in the performing arts: dance, voice, musical theater, improv and acting. All of this in one location! The focus of the studio is to teach technical skills while remaining focused on a childs development as a whole. Greenleaf is truly unique in many ways. Definitely worth the effort to stop by for a visit before making a decision on a studio.

I cant say enough good things about Greenleaf in a short review. Our family has taken classes since its inception about 15 years ago. Heres the short list of what we love about Greenleaf: God-honoring dance recitals with tasteful costumes, quality instructors whom you can trust to be role models for your children, the kinds of friends that you would hand-pick for your children who purpose to welcome new people into the mix, family owners who care about each individual student. Your family will receive so much at Greenleaf!

Our kids have been going to Greenleaf for guitar and piano lessons for the past three years. We have been very pleased with the instruction and professionalism of the staff. They are friendly and polite. The facility is clean and welcoming, as well as, easy to get in and out of. We would highly recommend them to anyone interested in taking music lessons.

Greenleaf Music & Arts is a wonderful place for children to grow and be enriched, not only in the many arts but also in character and friendship. If you are interested in an arts academy that can help your child flourish as a whole and not only in the classes they take, Greenleaf is the place!

Our daughter has taken ballet at Greenleaf for 2 years. We are looking at our third year now. Things to love about this place:1. We dont want our little girl dressing up like a grown woman with provocative dance clothes. At Greenleaf, the little girls attire (and even the older girls attire) is tasteful, modest and becoming.2. We didnt know what we wanted from the recital; yet, what we received exceeded our expectations. Both years, the recital was professionally executed with appropriate Bible readings before each dance number. Each recital was themed: the first year was Creation, the second year was Biblical Prayers.3. I think Greenleaf is family owned. Im usually afraid of this because there is no accountability. Here, however, the family is really like a family - in the best kind of way. For instance, my car recently stalled on the way to a private lesson. We were quite close to the studio, but I knew we wouldnt make it to the session. I called to cancel and instead, someone came and picked us up!! Initially, I thought Id run out of gas and they actually took me back to my car with a gas can.In my opinion, Greenleaf is a really fantastic place with a fantastic program. We have loved the first two years and are looking forward to the future with an expectation of more good things to come. If youre looking for a place to bring your children (for music, acting, dance, etc.), I would encourage you to give Greenleaf a try.
