Nice public park to visit and walk around thru on a warm day

They have no swings for the kids my daughter been in Bakersfield with big beautiful parks with a real sand area with varity of things to play on here is an example

Theh need to put the rims back on the ball courts

Baskets are down at the moment, but a nice spot with baseball thing and decent tennis courts. You may need to sweep them a bit before playing.

Beautiful grass fields and winding trails

Up on the hill was quiet and spacey. My husband and I enjoyed togther. Expecially since tents were not there around where kids play. These days you can never be careful enough.

I grew up playing here and honestly the basketball courts need an update. None the less still a great park

Huge park with baseball diamond, basketball and tennis courts. Even has an open bathrom ( important with toddlers!) But Its gross and dimly lit . play structure for kids with no swings. Hiking area with tables at top.I want to rate the park higher because it really is a big place and great for kids to run around, but the play area needs some TLC and not random homeless folks lurking.

The fried chicken wings are great! The fried catfish and fried rice is also good!

My oldest set of kids grew up and myself as well playing and learning in the discovery center as well as Brookdale center

A nice well-maintained basketball court and baseball field for people of all ages. It is a little oasis in East Oakland :-)

I take my lil buddy here to walk. This is one of his spots....

Not so sure it is a good place for your children. My 8 year old was called a f##ing A## by the other kids there.Becareful

I definitely would not hang out here shady area lot of drug activity goes down here

Neighborhood park....no play structure....good for hooping & softball

My Niece lives by their.

The playground is pretty bad and you can usually see homeless hanging around the top. The basketball court is nice

Its a cool place for Oakland people

Neighborhood Park and Recreation Center. Basketball and Baseball is played there. Family picnics and barbecues are given.
