Very dark! My girlfriend was terrified the entire time!! Which is great! Staff on the amusement were very friendly and did their job well! Could use an update inside and more attraction inside as they are a bit dated. Quick, dark, scary. Once its done, i wouldnt have a need to go back. Overall decently satisfied

Very fun place to visit while on the Canadian side (which is our favorite side of the falls). Very nostalgic, and creepy. The wax figures were very well done, and realistic. Cant wait to go back to visit this gem

Great haunted house. Very scary towards the middle/end. In the beginning, it has a great scary wax museum recreating scary scenes from movies and stuff with creepy music that makes it more scary. As you go through and see the wax museum stuff, the anticipation of a jump scare increases your anxiety. After you go through that, you will get SCARED. There are jump scares everywhere. The people scare you and they sound super creepy. I have never screamed in my entire life, not even to other haunted houses in that area. I have seen so many scary movies, and I have not screamed, nor gotten scared, to either one of them. This, however, made me scream more than every. The people chase you around corners and it is horrifying. They had three levels of scariness, and I chose the scariest, and the moment I stepped in, I wanted to leave. I should have chose the least scary one.

Went in tonight with a group of seven people, the lady at the front (Samantha) decided to choose the intensity level for all of us without consulting any of us. We went through the entire jointed maze and didn’t get scared once, rather tried scaring one another. When we came out we asked her if someone decided the intensity. She said she chose. We asked to go again and because our group was split up into 4 people and 3 behind, she claimed that the 3 people of our group “got scared” which everyone denied because we met up even in the maze and said “this is not scary at all”. The customer service we received was absolutely pathetic. She did not even feel the need to fix the mistake for everyone, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. YOU’LL BE DISAPPOINTED LIKE MOST OF THE PEOPLE WALKING OUT. especially when terrible customer service makes the executive decision to choose your intensity level for you. No wonder they take cash only and don’t provide refunds after a bad experience.

If you are looking for realistic depictions of actors, this is not the place to go.However, if you just want to appreciate the effort put into a wax museum, this is a nice stop. This is part of the multi-attraction visit pass you can get from the Skywheel. Overall, not really worth what you pay for... but if you have the pass, why not?

I went around 12:30am with my sister. To the guy who was working inside the haunted house- I love you. You were great and thank you for the hug. ABSOLUTE JOKE! We did hardcore. Do not, I repeat do not waste your money. Its not scary at all. I didnt see any actors. One guy at the end was on his phone! My husband made a comment about someone listening to music. 5 seconds after we walk by then we hear him rustling around. We were told it was scary. $14 wasted per person. Its like walking through a childs haunted house thats falling apart. No animatronics. Its just scary window displays. It was such a joke. Level one is walk through. Level 2 is sound.. I assume level 3 hardcore is seeing actors jump out lol.. nothing.

I would give this place a fat 0 if it would let me, but even that review is too high. This is THE WORST place ever and i’m not over exaggerating. First of all, we paid $26 for 2 people to go on the second scariest level. When we walked through the door into the actual haunted house part, it was literally PITCH BLACK. Then, we had to walk up 2 flights of stairs in the complete darkness, where we almost fell several times. After making it up the stairs and down a hallway, the the lack of sight was so bad we had turn around because we simply couldn’t see. Thank god we had the flashlights on our phones. When we made it back out, we stood there for 5 minutes while they took more and more customers instead of taking one second to talk to us. When she did, she was extremely rude when we told her that we couldn’t see, and even worse when we kindly asked for a refund. Oh, also, there are no refunds... but that’s not surprising, all this place is is a money grab. Please, save your money and don’t go here. This was the worst service I have ever experienced, and not to mention is quite dangerous. I truly hope this place goes out of business.

I took my daughter there who didnt want to go in further than 5 feet. We walked out again after being in for less than 10 seconds with her bawling and was told no refund. So i paid $35 for 10 seconds in a dark stairwell. Classless establishment that also only takes cash (red flag).

Why does Google make us give at least one star?? I would choose 0 if I could. Those reviews giving anything above 1 star, especially the 5 stars is a total lie. This was by far the biggest rip off ever. I asked if it was suitable for my son, ( I was looking for more kid friendly scare) they said yes. My son took a few steps in and walked out. He stayed with my wife and I asked for the scariest level. I walked through by myself. It’s crazy dark and they have “scary” scenes behind glass walls as you walk through, but it’s ridiculously hard to see. The glass was dirty, in fact, the whole place felt and smelled like an outhouse at beer fest. Twice I had a guy bang some tin and say “yaaah” or “ ehhh”. That was it. I wonder what the easiest level is like... $24 later, I walked out and told the owner (I think she owned it cause she hated life and was rude af) that it was a disappointment. She said nothing as I’m sure she hears it all the time. It needs extensive updating. It is completely original from when it was built. Next time, turn off your hotel room lights off, play Halloween music and walk around in the dark. You’ll save $$$ and probably have way more fun.

They told my parents that it was a child friendly wax museum and haunted house once we got in they had santa burning at the stake and people grabbing us . Worst Haunted House in on the Street. Me and a group of friends went on hardcore (the highest level) and all we got was a guy behind us screaming WALK and stomping. I even went backwards to see him and he was a casual guy wearing a hoodie. There are no special effects or sound, like nothing just design. The whole idea is to give you the impression that it is scary by giving you levels and such. Should have known what I was getting when they have no card machine and only accept cash! A huge cash grab and not worth your money!

Even hardcore isnt scary. Unless you are afraid of the dark. Lots of areas you simply cant see anything. Aside from the darkness, there was no wow factor. If you want a real scare you gotta check out Creepsville Spookhouse in Waterford instead. They go all out. More live actors and far leas gimmicks.

It wasnt good and would definitely not recommend it. First of all the the wax figures were very hard to see and the light and when I saw them they were cheap and looked like the came straight from a dollar store during Halloween. It was 10$ and other places around there are much cheaper like $5 or $7 and they take much longer to go through. The staff were also very lazy and didnt care about anyone. There was just a few people hiding and scream thats the only thing that made it scary.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. The place is not safe at all. There are safety hazards all over the place. The staff there didnt care at all and they didnt tell us anything about the rules or anything unsafe. went there with a few friends, and the place was so dark and at the end there were stairs and they were not properly lit up and we didnt see the stairs. Three of my friends had major injuries when they fell down the stairs and piled on top of each other. One of them had her legs skin ripped off, the other broke her cheekbone when she landed on the stairs and the other broke her arm and they all got bruises all over their bodies. When we complained to the manager instead of sympathizing and apologizing, he told us that its our own fault and he even was reluctant to return the money. The money didnt matter but the safety and the behaviour of the staff mattered.

House of Dracula is the worst haunted house in Niagara Falls and should just be shut down. There is nothing to see here. The displays are not scary at all, they look like they are 40 years old and they look fake. There is also a lot of repetition in the decor. The live actors are bullies and will SHOVE YOU HARD, which isn’t scary, it just violates the customer-actor relationship. AVOID THIS PLACE, IT’S A WASTE OF MONEY.

This was my and my girlfriends very first haunted house. They offer three levels, one for kids, one for most groups, and a hardcore. This being our first time ever, and me being an idiot, we chose hardcore right off the bat.First thing youll notice, its dark, extremely dark. Im legally blind to begin with, so Im used to it, but even my completely sighted girlfriend was having trouble. The second thing youll notice, at least on hardcore, is that the live actors are absolutely amazing. The very first one to interact with us had us screaming our lungs out. We did get a little turned around due to the music, and the things the actor was doing which I wont spoil. Needless to say, we were bumping in to walls. The very nice monster, still in scary mode, very politely gave us directions. In a deep, growling voice, we heard Right, turn right, then go straight. It was very nice of him.Getting lost, and getting directions from the monsters, was a very common theme. This is partly because we were scared out of our mind screaming like little girls whenever something new popped up, but also partly due to the dark. The actors never once broke character though, even when helping the people way over there head with directions.Id also like to point out, the very last creature sent us running down a pitch black hallway, and was very nice to warn us about a set of stairs coming up beyond a turn, so we wouldnt trip and break our necks. The actors were very interactive, and would answer questions, in their limited ability, if they were posed.Me, after losing track of one of them Is, is he to my left or right.Him, growls quietly in to my ear from about 6 inches away.Me, Oh, there he is, theres the nice creepy monster. All in all, this was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it.While it was our first haunted house, we immediately left and did The House of Frankenstein, and there is no comparison. The actors and props in Draculas are far more interactive and scary, and the lady manning the desk was far more informative and helpful. They didnt accept credit, but she was all in all a much more pleasant person to interact with.I would highly recommend it. Although if youre bringing kids, dont be an idiot like me, dont do level 3.

0 stars for this place. The woman who worked there was very rude she didnt bother explaining anything. They sent us in and my sister got scared so she started running and scratched her arm on the walls since it was pitch dark. They didnt even tell us a safety word that we could use and I was just trying to find an exit door because my sister was saying that her arm burns and she wanted to get out, anyway we couldnt stop and we had to go all the way. Not to mention the unnecessary stair at the end which we almost tripped over and if I wouldnt have warned everybody else when I fell down the first one they would all fall. Its not scary its just a dangerous place.
