This is a smaller theater with narrow isles but still a very nice venue to watch a play. There are some odd angles so be careful in choosing a seat. Conveniently located just off Broadway.

Diana on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre is fabulous and I’d give that part of the night 10 stars if I could!Security made me toss a 3.3 inch pepper spray I keep on my keychain for safety. I didn’t think to remove it before entering the theater because no other bag check, including other Broadway shows, has had an issue with it. Staff would not hold it for me until the end of the show, so I had no choice but to toss this $20 item if I wanted to see the production. If you carry anything like this in case of emergency, leave it at home.

This was my first Broadway play and I loved the theater. we saw the prom and we laughed and enjoyed our time theyre so very much. The seats are very comfortable. I was able to go down to the basement area they had refreshments and a place where they sold merchandise I thought it was very very beautiful everything from the stairways to the ceilings. And of course the Prom was fantastic!

It was getting near to the end of my trip to New York and i wanted to see at least one more show before it left. I had been listening to the cast recording of ‘The Prom’ before and I really enjoyed it, so getting to see it live was a perfect decision! I was trying to get the cheapest seat available so I went to the box office and asked however the cheapest one had been sold whilst i was talking to the saleswoman - she offered me a more expensive seat which was reduced (it ended up being around $10 more than the cheapest one) so I bought it. Everyone who worked in the theatre was super friendly and when I got to the Mezzanine I had an usher swap me round to Centre Mezzanine which was really nice. It was the furthest row back, however she came and told me that I could move to the second row after the lights went down but I preferred to stay where i was :) after Act 1 i then said thank you to her for letting me move and she then told me that i could go and sit wherever I liked as long as no one sat there so I moved back to second row for Act 2 and i had a great view! The show as a whole was very enjoyable and funny, and it left me feeling really positive. I’d love to come and see it again!!

I recently visted New York City in July. I came to the city to see The Prom and another musical. We scheduled to see this show the night we got to the city, but ended up being very late due to car issues. The staff was excellent and friendly about what happened, and let us see the musical at one of the next shows for free, to make up for missing our scheduled performance. The show was amazing and the theatre was beautiful, it sucked there was a pole in our way though, but everything else was great.

Saw The Prom here, the theater is a decent size, with a ton of historic detail work that will give you plenty to see before shows, or during intermission. They have several restrooms which is nice when theres many people trying to get to the restrooms. Being a shorter person, my balcony seats gave me a good view of the stage without heads in my way. Would recommend a visit!

Came here in July and caught the play A BRONX TALE (highly recommend seeing it). The venue is amazing! The seating was a little cozy but the traditional theatre atmosphere makes up for it. Not much of a beer and wine selection at the bar area, but the bar service staff was great! After the play, you can walk just a block over and catch the enery and action in Time Square!

It is obvious this theatre is a grand relic. It is well maintained, and felt safer than many of the older theatres I have been in. We were at the very top balcony, but our seats had a wonderful view, and we felt part of the show even though we were high up. The bathrooms were clean and having the balcony bathrooms really helped with traffic flow. The lounge in the basement did get crowds and stuffy at intermission, but that is expected, and people were patient with each other. The staff was helpful and friendly and patient when we couldnt decide on merch after the show! Great venue!

Saw A Bronx Tale tonight. It was amazing. Great talented artists performed a wonderful job singing, dancing and acting. We had great seats, the theatre was so beautiful! We thought it was from the 1890s, but learned it was founded in 1913. Amazing strong voices and beautiful story. My husband mentioned thats how it was to be raised by an Italian family. Funny and emotional. Recommend.

The staff was engaged and helpful. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. It was easy to buy tickets at the box office several days in advance. The theater had lovely historical details. I enjoyed the show. What I did not enjoy was a cockroach running up my leg during intermission.A large one. While I did not scream, I stood up quickly and, in doing so, flung it into the row in front of me, where it caused a small panic among the children under whose seats it scuttered. Several attempts were made to chase it away, but it returned to our two rows, as though it carried a personal vendetta. When my brother returned to our row, he stomped at it viciously enough to attract the attention of about a quarter of the orchestra seats. But, as the lights dimmed, the roach began moving up rows, towards the better seats. A true New York theater-goer.We took no chances. My brother promptly tucked his pant legs into his socks and I sat criss-cross-applesauce for the entirety of the second act. The experience marred an otherwise enjoyable evening and I may yet burn the tights I wore.
