My review is about the staff on the Wednesday night 8pm Kiss Me Kate Event on June 5th 2019. I had had a horrible start to my vacation. I got caught and pulled into a domestic problem at the Airbnb I had booked. I had to quickly find another place to stay and it had taken me an hour to get to the Roundabout theatre from the new Airbnb. I had been awake since 4 am traveling and I was emotionally distraught and exhausted. By the intermission of Kiss Me Kate, I could no longer keep my eyes open and I was scared and worried about how I would get back to the new Airbnb that was in a dangerous neighborhood. I walked into the lobby and fell to pieces as I asked the staff to help me get home. From the gentleman security guard, to the usher who said she was a social worker and to Libby who walked me to the corner and explained calmly and compassionately how to get home, I could not have been more grateful. I did not get to enjoy the show due to the violent occurance at the original Airbnb, to the new Airbnb that even one of ushers had noticed was not in a safe neighborhood. How can I ever thank you, the staff that night? I did cut my trip short and was only in NYC for 48 hours; I had originally intended to stay for 6 full days. None the less. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All of you were the angels that were sent to guide me and make me feel safe and hopefull again. My hats off to all of you.

The play I saw last night Apologia. Stockard Channing. Played at Pell theatre on 46 st. The most uncomfortable theatre I have ever been to.! The back if the seats were sooooi hard and uncomfortable. The seats were arranged on a weird angle. You can hardly move without annoying someone in front of you. Major drag. Don’t go there. The sound was awful. Missed most of play (unless they were yelling) as we could not hear the dialogue. What a shame!!!

I have a subscription. They tell you that you could trade tickets for any other date. That is NOT true. Most of the people who answer the phone are rude. I have had a lot of problems exchanging tickets Plus the phone personnel acts like I am doing them a big favor by requesting an exchange. No one cares that I spent more than $750 for the subscription. One plus of buying a subscription is that each ticket is a lower price than if you go to the theatre to buy it individually. Another advantage is, if you want to buy an additional ticket, there is no service charges. Maybe they will work on better customer service and an easier exchange program, then it would be a better deal.

I went to a show of John Lithgow which was great however, the lady in the box office ran my credit and debit cards many many times. She kept saying they were declined yet I got 3 charges from Roundabout. When I called them, they said there was only one charge on their end however my bank sent them payment three times- twice on my cc account and once from my checking. Client services was unhelpful and unsympathetic I had to initiate disputes with my bank and cc company and wasted 4 hours of my time- buyer beware and save all of our ticket stubs and receipts.UPDATE_ I finally called the number they listed below and was put on hold and then told they had already spoken with me in February which is not the case. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY- THE WORST
