I saw Bloodshot, it was one of the last showings before they shut down the city. The movie wasnt great but now it serves as the last movie I saw before the world turned over on itself.

Decent multiplex with very friendly staff. The box office is on the ground floor as you enter and the screens span multiple floors above. Its very dated compared to all the other theaters that have undergone renovation with recliners but the screens and sound systems are fairly up-to-date. They offer seat reservations like other theaters and the snack selection is above average.

This is my go to movie theater in 34th Street. Its not as expensive as others around the area besides the popcorns and drinks. They also have good selection of the latest movies with various times available. Furthermore, there are so many floors available which is a good thing since the place tends to get crowded around evening time. Overall, Id really recommend this theater!

Have seen some great bands of all genres here, though most recently was Meshuggah!! They’re pros at accommodating major hardcore crowds. Easy in and out. No complaints

Not a bad theater, a bit older. Regular seating in most of the theaters, good ol squeaky seats. Restroom is on one level so you may have to run if you go during the movie. I guess youd run either way if the movies is good.

For the most part it was okay. But for the location you would expect reclining seats, a staff that had a little more customer service training and not an attitude of personal indifference for no reason at all.the bathrooms were fairly clean but the theater for a matinee showing was completely filthy, doesnt make any sense.I prefer to view movies at AMC locations and my kids were happy to watch Sonic. All-in-all I guess it was ok.

9.25.17 - saw IT on a Monday night and it was barely populated. Overall its a well kept the as yet with nice and responsive staff.The seats are a little old and beat up so for long movies it might get a little uncomfortable.The theater is right off the A,C,E train at Penn Station, so its very accessible. Overall, not a bad experience.

I love this movie theater. They are very organized. They are very clean. They are fast and patient. This theater is huge. 4 floors. They have bathrooms in the 3rd floor. The bathrooms where clean. I bought nachos and a big soda. They are expensive with the food so have a good amount of money. They have chipotle and five guys right next to the movie theaters. The a train is right in the corner.

One of the bigger movie theaters in midtown. However, no restrooms at every levels. No clear directories upstairs. Also, seating area are not clean. Not all escalators worked. Not all bags brought in are checked by the security like other AMC Loews locations do. Not happy about the experience.

This place is groady. I wouldnt recommend it unless its super convenient time or location wise.The seats are super old and uncomfortable in the regular theaters. The concessions area are really gross, see pictures of the messy area by the drinking fountains. It makes me wonder what the kitchen/back of house areas are like - yikes!AMC has been doing minor renovations that dont impede on operations, but I hope they start to take some theaters offline to give them some needed attention. Like some of the theaters downtown have gotten some much needed TLC. Hopefully this theater does soon too!

Great Place. Nice and Open, yet quiet most of the time (good thing). Sound Quality is great too as well as no smeared screens! Only negative? Not all reclinable seats, which will be coming soon to be up to date to current trends.

Cool place. Next to the A/C/E trains. Nice spot to go on a day off. Do not leave ANYTHING behind though... Chances are it wont make it to lost and found.

It’s an ok theater, no recliner seats. Popcorn is not great. But good customer service.

The theater is under renovation now and you can smell the materials in the arena but not in the movie section itself... but thats cool. Seats are comfortable with adjustments and heated through push-buttons. I do not like that the prices are so STEEP...$15 for adults. Too pricey.

We visited this movie theatre in the afternoon to watch Nightschool. There were not many visitors, we were only with 5 people in the theatre. They have a pretty wide selection of movies here, which is very good, and already start early in the day.Employees are polite and friendly. There are 3 floors in this location, although our movie was shown on the first floor, we had to go to second floor for bathrooms( as they are not on every floor), which was a bit strange.

I attended a matinee show.I am giving this AMC three stars because the sound in the theater was way too loud. I had to put in the ear plugs that I carry just to make it through the film. An elderly couple next to me were making similar complaints.I also found the staff to be unavailable to help the guests. There is nobody in the main lobby to direct matinee guests. Once you finally find your way upstairs and scan your tickets, you are only greeted by employees at the concession stand.There are positives: The screens are bright and beautiful and the seats recline and vibrate to the big action sequences on-screen.This review is only my opinion, but I think some improvements would make this an amazing theater.

Great theater, its my favorite AMC theater easily. The reason why I love it so much is near the concession stands you can buy awesome pop figures. But other than that is a beautiful theater with three floors and each floor is just as breathtaking, my only gripe is that the bathrooms are on the second floor, not on each floor. Only gripe. My favorite thing is the new Dolby Cinema. I saw Joker in that theater the prices skyrocket to 22 dollars per ticket. However the experience is incredible! I wont spoil much but just a small taste the sound is the best sound quality I have ever experienced in a theater period.

Fantastic sound system. Dolby Prime rocks. The distance to the stage even from the back rows was too short. The theatre had no heating and I had to keep all my layers of clothing on, including my outdoor long coat. For $21 per ticket, I expected at least a warm place.

Clean and quiet theatre but they insist on working as a bank. They will not open until EXACTLY 10am despite the fact that many show times are for 10am. They also wont accept gift cards that have no expiration due to their updated automated point-of-service machines that are NOT programmed to take gift cards that have no expiration date.

Came and saw the Joker Movie and it was simply a great experience. The popcorn was PERFECT! The soft drink were soft drinks and candy is all the same. I do want acknowledge how great the staff there are. When as soon Id walked away, somebody knocked them out of my hands. I was visibly, but the staff jumped into action. Got me another soft drink and popcorn as well as cleaning up the spill Id made earlier

Ive seen a couple movies here and I always have a great experience. Its clean and spacious and the service is good. And the popcorn is delicious and vegan friendly!

AMC has a consistency that you have to admire. As an AMC A List member, I take advantage of the perks quite a bit and frequent several different theaters in Houston, San Antonio, and NYC.The Times Square location offers a respite from the bombardment of ads and pictures by bombarding you with one projection, although one of your choice.The theaters are staggered across 5/6 levels throughout the building. The setup is mad awkward at first but once you know your theater number the helpful staff will help you.The location had a plethora of theaters; this theater also has some indie and off mainstream selections you wont find at other locations.Tip: Get your popcorn and sodas as soon as you get there. If you sit down to get your seats youll spend another 10 minutes going back down to the lower level. Drink refill fountains are on all levels so that helps during the movie.Tip 2: With so many people coming in with bags, the policy is very weak so feel free to bring a backpack loaded with whatever. We always sneak in drinks. Yup, Im those people.

Very large space that is currently being renovated. The movie theatre is clean. The rooms are not overly crowded.

Not my favorite theater. The seats are not luxury, as in they dont recline. Although they are soft and floofy so thats a plus. The sound in our particular theater was too loud though. Like calm down, Id like to keep my ear drums please. Everything else was fine, nothing unusual or noteable.

The Movie theater you can take the entire family to, I love the discounts rewards that you can receive here, plus the place is the cleanest movie theater that I have ever seen, so skip all the other theaters and go here you will not be disappointed,

The IMAX seats are made for hobbits. I am average height and slim. You will uncomfortably rub arms and shoulders with your neighbour throughout the movie. Also there’s very tiny leg room. Any average sized human being will not be able to relax in their seats. People keep bump into your back cushion.The place is old and outdated. Smell the worn carpets.

Nice comfortable chairs (in the IMAX theatre), I like that I have the option to choose my seats before buying the tickets ( online- not sure how the process is when purchasing straight from the box office), clean theatre overall. The reason Im taking a star- well more like half a star actually, is because the popcorn was a bit bland, and soda not bubbly- given that Ive visited the theatre in an off peak hours.

I used to come here all the time back in HS (almost 20 years ago). Place has not changed a bit. Sure, a few new screens and reclining seats added.Quaint.

Visited this AMC location to see The Matrix for the 20th anniversary in their Dolby theater. Comfortable reclining seats but the screen is much closer because its smaller than the one at 42nd Street AMC. The sound was at times loud too. And its in better shape than 42nd Street.The bathrooms on the 4th level are old but fairly clean (there is no restroom on the same floor as the Dolby theater), professional staff, concession is on the 3rd level along with a handful of arcade games.

Good experience overall. The tickets are a bit pricey but it is Manhattan. I’m not sure about all the theaters but I was in theater 2 and it didn’t have the large recliners that many theaters now come with. They might be available in the more advanced theaters but the basic ones don’t have them.

AMC 34th St is one of my favorite places to go to the movies. Its always clean, staff is always courteous and helpful. I love their Dolby theater. Great picture, sound quality and good food.

Pretty good theater. Saw avengers endgame here. Theater was big, picture and sound were good, but chairs couldve been comfier. They were very slippery. Also the snack stand on the top floor was closed during one of the biggest movie openings ever which was very odd

Best Dolby Vision theatre in NYC. Not a bad seat anywhere. The one at 42nd has some weird spots where the chairs in front of you block the screen. This one does not.

Theres plenty of great places to go shopping outside around the theatre as well as restaurants.

They let me taste the caramel popcorn. That made me happy.

Nice theater.. Good seats.. Not plush recliners but comfy and they move back slightly.. They have a really good menu with pizza.. Mac and cheese.. Sliders.. Food is definitely a plus here. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner and soda area floor was super sticky.. Overall its really good for the area.. Area can be a bit sketchy if you catch a late movie.. Workers were nice, ticket girl working on 2nd floor was really cool and had an awesome smile for everyone..

Other than the Lincoln Center IMAX theater, this is the best Ive been to, anywhere. The Dolby Cinema experience is great: padded leather seats with electronic controls for reclining and a footrest. Its cleaner than most theaters from what Ive noticed and the movies look, sound (and feel) awesome. Food is regular, overpriced movie theater food but this is my go-to theater for my AMC A-List subscription.

The seats was uncomfortable no recliners or anything, for the prices they charge for a movie you should be comfortable, especially of your seeing a 2-3hour movie. The ladies room is only on the second floor,and it was out of service so they can clean,being pregnant I had to use the male bathroom unfortunately.

This is good, standard AMC theater for NYers. Been here several times. If you’re a non-NYer, you’ll be shocked at the box office pricing. If you’re a NYer, you’ve long accepted (and continued to grumble about) that you pay the highest prices in the US (and perhaps the world) for movies.

Probably will not come back here. The line to buy tickets is long and there are only 2, yes 2, self check in kiosks. Those kiosks are not easy to use either. Once you have finally obtained a ticket, there is a huge line with 1 ticket taker moving extremely slow. It was this way before and after the movie, on a TUESDAY! What is it like on the weekend??! Movie was on the 3rd floor where there are 5-6 theaters, but NO bathrooms. You have to go upstairs to the next floor for a bathroom. There are concessions on the 3rd floor, with, again, an incredibly long line. They actually have 2 lines, a short VIP one for paid amc members, and a long one for other non members. Wow, capitalism. Wow. The seating in the theater is assigned and you have to pick your seat. Unfortunately, Since we got there on the later side we were not able to sit next to each other. We ordered popcorn and Explained to the guy that we were not sitting next to each other so could we get an extra bag to pour popcorn into... he said it was AMCs policy to not let us and instead he gave us a serving tray that we could pour popcorn onto. Find that to be a very strange policy Considering you have to give up some sort of paper product regardless. And of course concessions are pretty expensive, $8 for popcorn. The popcorn doesnt taste that good either. The seats themselves are stadium seating And there is not a lot of room from person in front of you to your legs behind their seat. There is absolutely no room for someone in your row who has to get up in the middle of the movie to walk by you and you have to stand up to let them by.

We went to the Dolby cinema to watch Avengers - Endgame. The experience was really good! The seats were very comfortable and doesn’t matter where you seat (either the very left or right), you have the full view of the screen. The sound quality is perfect which brings the movie to life. Overall, great experience!

Clean and decent for the city. It’s actually pretty easy to know where you’re going with all the signs and the staff assistance is really great here. I really recommend sitting in rows G and H if you’re in a large cinema. Best view in the entire room. The refreshments were great and thankfully cost was like the normal. Recommend: Highly

Much better than the AMC near 86th and 3rd. Has some updates, but no recliners. At least not in their normal auditoriums. Could use a second cashier for the A-list line at concessions since it took almost as long to get through that line as if I would have gone through the normal line. Regardless of that small complaint, it really was a pretty decent theatre for NY, and it was soo much better than my previous NY AMC experience. Making this my preferred theatre even though its a long trek from the Upper East Side.

It has a very old smell the floors feel like kind of sticky. It also looks very old. The sala was pretty good. Excellent service.

Nice venue for movies, the seats comfortable but not reclining as I would have expected. Moreover, the floor of the the theater was extremely sticky (too much soda spilled during previous shows?!? I hope only that...). Definitely not my first choice as you can clearly find better movie theaters in the city.

Beside the A-List line being ridiculously long, it was great! The seating was comfortable and the people that work there were nice. It was clean and there were no problems at all. I enjoyed my visit.

I like this movie theater location. It has many cinemas room. I prefer Imax, Digital, 3D whichever has the Recliners. Its the best choice ever. Very nice crowd as well. Easy access to public transportation outside.

Rude staff at the entrance. Touch screens malfunctioning. At concessions, tall man with dreadlocks scratched his head by the food, wore no protective gear around the food. IMAX malfunctioned...

One of the most worst experience regarding a concession stand employee. Rude and unprofessional. Felt a need to question me and ask if I had a problem. All the while he was the one with an attitude. If you in a position to assist and be customer service centric then do that. If you dont like working there then dont. Aside from that the threatre is a bit outdated.

My place to go. They have a nice variety of goodies. And I enjoy the reclining chair.

Love this theater looks like kind of an antique structure staff is nice and seats are comfortable. Only downsize is the lack of bathrooms at every floor.

Been here a few times for the Dolby Cinema films. Really crisp quality. Only issues is sometimes construction goes on above and the subwoofers arent calibrated correctly so they just vibrate and sound washed out.

Just nuce experience not up comfortable dont feel its clean and not a gud food u can enjoy during movie not recommended yes but if want to watched just movie and bit be comfortable then best to go but enjoy and comfortable and also gud food then try some other place

This is our favorite theater so far in NYC, as a premium member of AMC we watch movies during Tuesday its because the price is very cheap like $6 in digital movie. And the dolby is only $12. Aside from that we got a lot of deals like $5 popcorn and drink. When your bill goes to $50 AMC will return or reward you like $5 so you can use it in the future purchase. We have our tuesday family day. We love the popcorn here, the fountain drinks, the nacho with cheese OMG the best.

I really enjoyed visiting this theater. The staff was very friendly and respectful on both occasions. The environment and bathrooms are very clean. My grand daughter also commented on the cleanliness of the restrooms. There are many electrical outlets in the restroom, so you can charge your phone, if need be I will be revisiting

Working escalators meant I did not have to walk up endless flights of stairs. The movie quality was excellent. Lost one star for how uncomfortable the seats are.

The floor of the ladies bathroom could have been cleaned better but overall a nice movie theater.

Theatre is clean and everyone is super nice but the system for checking tickets is done upstairs near the escalator. The line gets ridiculous long and it is a accident waiting to happen. Hope that part changes and fast.

Conveniently located near MSG, Penn station, and most subway routes. There are several floors to navigate before getting where you want to go. Ground floor is tickets, first floor is the ticket scanner, second is concessions and theaters 1-6, third is bathrooms, and fourth is every other theater. The standard theater seats would make you feel cramped up and make it hard to walk if someone is blocking your way. Picture and audio are decent compared to other AMCs. There is also a Dolby and IMAX theater.

Too cramped for the price. Most AMC theaters switched to bigger comfortable seats. This one didn’t. The place is also understaffed. It took me so long to get a soda. Two terrified people behind the counter are not enough.
