I’ve only been to the track 3 times now but the people are so engrossed in their respective sport. Whether it be soccer, running, calisthenics, or kick boxing, everyone–regardless of their level of expertise–is willing to chime in. It is a community of fun loving, health conscious individuals that just want to see the next guy or gal bring the best out of themselves when performing. It’s truly uplifting.

The newly refurbished track has filtered water fountains and a water tower that produces mist. ive been running here for over 18 years. i love it. you can catch a good soccer game which is a welcome distraction on a jog around the tracks.

Love this park been going for years. Its a big park with plenty of baseball fields, football field, track field and basketball courts. Picnic area and plenty of seating and an Amphitheater

Listening to the waves, smelling the river air and watching the motion of the river relaxes me, but there needs to be cameras to take pics. Way too many bicyclists zoom past and almost crash into pedestrians or other cyclists. Accident waiting to happen or a fight

The track is open again! (10/17) And it looks and feels great. Very bouncy, wont flood anymore, great field, and the new fountains are much improved. Very happy to see its return.

I was invited to my Cousins Bbq as for the park is a cool place to spend a few hours. My favorite spot is the board walk. Definitely enjoyed myself.

Clean, squishy track, lots of space and activity- you can smell the fitness in the air!

Another Brooklyn highrise construction across the East River Park near Delancey St amongst several already finished. I gave the park 4 stars as water fountains have no flow, do not work and are in need of updating.

This park is absolutely beautiful. The track is incredible, you can play tennis, you can walk under the bridge. Its a couple miles around so its great for runs and strolls. Its honestly one of the main reasons Ive stayed in the east village.

Beautifully set along yhe side of the water and highway. Has something for everyone, large playing fields and a track. Does have a bathroom, not far from stores.

Beautiful city lights near a childrens play ground baseball field and a running track. Also you can enjoy the boat and sunset scenery. You can have a cookout as well in this park, so bring your grill.

Great track, beautiful location. Would be even better if the bathroom remained open in the evening for people to change and if lighting was a little stronger after sundown

I cant believe Ive passed this park countless times and never bothered to come here until today. This is where is at. This is the place to be, whether you want to hang out and chill, clear your mind and/or training/exercise. Newly renovated 400 meter track.Plus workout bars, baseball field, basketball courts, plus more.

I love walking around in this park area.

Its what should be expected in the city. A good crowd, so speed work can be tricky. Two examples. First, a family with their toddler slowly crossing the track lane by lane, in toddler motion. Second, a local running club finishing its evening marathon training workout with a beer mile with women more focused on downing the drinks quickly and tossing them off the track than the people who could be hit, potentially, with the partially filled, discsrded beer bottles.

Beautiful park, tennis,baseball,basketball, soccer, football. You can barbecue. And theres bathrooms.

Peaceful and beautiful

Fields are in better shape than I thought they were going to be in . Infield was smooth and level. The outfield was in very good condition as well. The bathrooms were very clean. Also very nice scenery while watching the game. The only thing I didnt like was the parking. Very hard to find a spot in this area. Still all in all a very nice experience. Also super clean and busy with jogging, biking etc

Very active park. Bike and running trails. So much going on there and I didnt get to see everything on my first trip. More to report on my next adventure.

Great for sight seeing run,walk and ride your bike if don0have a bike you could rent one or get a city bike and enjoy the views

The park has been renovated in many sections, however theres still plenty of work that needs to be done.The restrooms are deplorable, grassy areas have minimal grass, barely there garbage collectors especially in the high traffic areas and it would be nice to have more picnic area options with added grills.

Put a park in it I mean a bathroom and then you be okay does not in the bathroom

Been coming here for intervals and speed work for years. Recently they repaved the track. Track surface seems pretty good so far. Though I dont understand why they can never make the track surface even. Soccer field had been redone also. The artificial turf is pretty good (still). I go barefoot on it from time to time.

The best place in Manhattan for an outdoor speed workout! Freshly renovated in 2018 with lovely east river views.

Very nice place to go walk your dog, or a romantic walk with your significant other, or a family outing.

I grew up playing baseball and softball and football there I became a street legend in the neighborhood everybody knows who Rookie from Broome St is Lower East side legend....

Missing lights but other than that- perfect. Clean and new.

Nice track on the East River

Hopefully the renovations are done soon so I can practice here. The track was quite worn down so hopefully afterwards it will be in much better condition. The track had and hopefully will continue to have a jumping pit, shotput area and soccer field. UPDATE: great conditions after renovation, field, track and jumping pit are great but there is unfortunately no shot put area.

They have a rubbery track, a long jump sandpit, and trees from which to suspend a slack line. soccer field with well maintained goals/netting. body weight exercise equipment area. what more you need ?

Great track to bust out some sprints or play soccer in the middle alongside the East River Runway.Also - the outdoor gym nearby just to the south is a good combination to get a full body workout.
