With little time to spare while in the city, I was hoping to catch Louise Bonnets ongoing show up-close. I understand that the pandemic has obviously caused a lot of changes in life, but it was still disappointing to be locked out from entering the building to see each piece with detail. I was not aware that setting up an appointment by calling ahead of time was necessary to be provided permission of entry, especially when other galleries are open to the public under extreme caution. While it is welcomed that the show is technically available for viewing 24 hours a day, observing from the other side of a glass view port at a distance simply doesnt do the experience justice. Heres to hoping that Gagosian may again show Bonnets works in the near future at one of their main locations.
Cool space, nice presentation.
