My team and I attended a cultural diversity training at Ashe the instructors were so welcoming and made us feel at home. We left there with lots of new knowledge! I would recommend them to anyone they are amazing!!

A true gem and staple of Black New Orleans for shopping, attending wonderful events and everyday socializing!

This is a great space. Its underutilized though. And its smaller than it is bigger. It puts you in the mind of a 500 seat Theater, but its actually more suited for black box shows, but the stage is too big for a black box. Its an odd nifty space that needs the right show in it. I think you can get about 200 people in here. I dont know how much it costs to rent though.

My experience was great my son and his friends did documentary there YOUNG MEN VOICES HAVE POWER LOOK IT UP and the atmosphere Ashe Power House was amazing. I hope they use this place again for next production.

It was a wonderful event. The talented performers would have made Lorraine Hansberry, who wrote A Raisin in the Sun more than 60 years, very proud.

Im so THANKFUL I found the Ashe Center... especially because Iam not a native to New Orleans.So, when i moved here... I needed to be able to connect my gifts and my culture...And the Ashe Center gave me both.

If you havent been to Ashe lately you must visit. Lots of events at the Power House theater as well as the original location on Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
