Went on this tour in mid-January this year. Beautiful day and so much fun! Our guide, Lee Sensibaugh, regaled us with many interesting and juicy historical and fan facts while keeping us thoroughly entertained. I recommend this slice of New Orleans flavor to all who want to learn more about the citys colorful past. Youll even meet Marie Laveau!

Tour guide was great, I went with Evien(not sure on the spelling) who had a lot of interesting stories and cool historical insights. My favorite quote from the tour was “For those of you from out of town, for your general health, don’t put your mouth on anything in New Orleans, and that includes the people.”Dropped a star because like half the tour wasn’t even in the cemetery. We spent half the time just getting to the cemetery.Four stars.

Excellent tour.Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and hilarious.I am a native New Orleanian and learned a lot of information on this tour.We toured St Louis #1 on Basin Street. Got to see Marie Laveau the Voodoo Queens grave.

Angela was a skilled and entertaining guide. I’ve done this tour three times over the past twenty years and always enjoy taking new people to this interesting spot.

Our tour guide Lee was literally the best tour guide I have ever had. Very energetic and knowledgeable. He was also very excited to be giving the tour. Very willing to answer questions and really enjoys his job which makes the whole experience better!!

Richard was an energetic tour guide, would definitely do again. Got to learn about the st. Louis cemetary #1 and got a little voodoo info as well.

Loved cemetery tour.

We took our tour with The French Quarter Phantoms. Our tour guide, Justin Wood, was fantastic. His way of weaving the history, fact with myth, made it a great day. He was very knowledgeable. He has a background in history and loves this city, so make sure you ask for him on any of the French Quarter Phantoms tours. Not only did we go to the cemetery but also went to several locations around the French Quarter to gain an understanding of the history of the area and cemetery before heading into it. He made sure to ask for questions at each stop on the tour before moving on. He made sure our tour was personalized for our group and our questions. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Our guide Besty (with Stephens Tours) was great. I wanted to spend more time as there is so much to see. The tour was an hour and it was so great I didnt want to leave. It does get a bit crowded as multiple tours are coming through, but the tour guides are hospital to each group. Great tour, will tour again.

It was very fun. The guides were knowledgeable and offered fun facts and humor. You could also pay extra and get more time in the cemetary or jail to explore. I would highly recommend if in the area.( I just realized this is tagged for new orleans I dont know why but it is located on the cape in barnstable mass)

Great Historic informative

I love this tour, I have been on it before and came back because I liked the first time so much. For some reason this second time though felt very short and rushed... which is understandable as it was extremely hot in there and there was almost no shade. I recommend going in one of the cooler seasons as that is when you are likely to get the most out of it and not pass out in the process (one of the girls in our group collapsed).

The tour guide Maleka was absolutely fabulous. She was very insightful, knowledge and all around entertaining.

Great tour guide! I forget his name but I think it was Bill. He gave a great history lesson along with some ancient lore. Takes you on a walking tour thats about a mile. Slow walking pace so he can show many of the landmarks, and places of interest before arriving at the cemetery. While in the cemetery, you get a good lesson about Voodoo and the foundation of New Orleans.

Bobby Thomas was absolutely awesome! He was funny, knowledgeable, passionate. Definitely would recommended this tour with him as a guide.

Tour and tour guide were good, front desk / ticketing lady greets you and sends you off wanting to write a bad review. Shes super rude and talks down to customers. Sorry to the tour guides!

Loved the history and the architecture. Great tour with phantom tours, but the cemetary offers tours every hour for $20 a person as well.

I highly recommend this tour. Bobbie was the best tour guide I have ever had. He was knowledgable and funny. I learned a lot and had a great time. If youre planning on taking this tour ask for Bobbie.

All cemetery tours were cancelled. During Madigrass, we could only see from the perimeter, or from the gates. Above ground burials, because the location is so close to water level, dig and and the hole fills up with water. So they buried there dead over ground in the old days.

Learned alot about New Orleans history that I didnt know the tour guide was excellent and answered all questions, A+
