The tour was incredible. The house is stunning with so many fascinating people whove lived there with the books and portraits to prove it. Our guide was a volunteer and a former architect who was so fascinating, you could really get so interested in the stories he was telling and the characters he was describing and the architecture that he was explaining. its the best home tour Ive ever been on in New Orleans and Im a tour guide and Ive been on many. I will make sure I bring my groups here as often as I can, its a gem!

Such a wonderful presentation of preservation. And the model of historical education without glossing over even the unflattering parts is an example that others should follow.

The courtyard feels like a town square of old with even the traditional fountain in the center. Great ambiance thanks to the historical architecture, and the adjacent garden has been carefully restored to its original splendor. I real enjoy events here!

Beauregard-Keyes House1113 Chartres StNew Orleans, LAArchitect Francois Correjolles built this beautifully restored home in 1826 for a wealthy auctioneer. Over the last 193 years, this home has had several affluent owners and was rented by General P.G.T. Beauregard shortly after the Civil War. With its manicured gardens and fountain, this home has one of the most beautiful courtyards in the French Quarter.

Name is a little misleading, the house was only rented by Beauregard and more famous locally for the author Keyes. Still a nice place to visit.
