My favorite golf course in Nola! Small green, nice fairways and solid practice facilities. The food in the clubhouse is really good as well.

The amenities of this place are great, but what really surprised me was the food. The dinning experience is top notch and the menu appears to change often enough to keep it interesting. My wife and I have only come as guests, but are looking into joining now.

We recently went to the English Turn Club for a special steak themed night that they were having. We havent been in a few years and we were delighted to see how different the food was. We soon returned and I had a very memorable Crab Cakes Remoulade!

Nice course, greens and fairways are about 80%. No beverage service on course, and the carts are not GPS enabled.

Played here August 1st 2020. Very nice track. However, the staff was even nicer, I felt like I was playing my home course.

Honestly the best course to play in New Orleans. Every hole is beautiful, intricate, and well maintained. The greens are very small so have your pitch and chip game ready. Its designed to have a water hazard at each hole, including an island par 4. Although the area and the clubhouse were incredibly fancy, the staff and golfers were very down to earth.

Played here twice through Club Corp. 79 on my first round about a year ago. Every green, fairway, and tee box were gorgeous. Soft and well watered greens let my ball sit on contact. Anytime Im in New Orleans Im booking a tee time.

Attended a birthday party here. The food was good. The venue is nice. There was piano music live. It was nice.

I went here for a business training with a former employer. They picked an excellent setting. English Turn was a beautiful course and a pleasant drive to get to. Ample parking and facilities for a group of 60-75 people. I regret not having taken an extra day or the weekend to enjoy the course more.

Traps are in bad shape and few of the greens are in bad shape.

Great course with a lot of history. Terrific practice facility too. The greens were lightning fast but very fair and rolled true. We experienced a downpour of rain twice during our round and after waiting it out under a tree, the course drained so well that youd never known it had just rained. The staff was friendly and the whole round was amazing. Would recommend and return the next time Im in New Orleans.

This was a highlight of my visit to New Orleans. Great practice facility, the pro shop was very friendly and the service was top notch. Course itself is a very good fun layout with challenging holes, if you can control your distances you will score well at this track. Very good conditions.

Located close to a historic bend in the Mississippi River, the high-end residential development of English Turn, rated 4-1/2 stars, is home to one of Louisianas finest championship golf courses - this immaculately maintained Jack Nicklaus design is laid out on relatively flat, open terrain, with mansion-sized housing kept at a safe distance around the perimeter, separated by a canal that encircles the course.

My first time playing the course, I had a great time even though I played terrible. Lunch in the Grill was good, Randy always makes you feel welcome.

Golf course is in very good condition. No problem getting tee times. Golf course personnel are friendly,cooperative and very helpful. This is also true of the club house personnel .A very friendly place to dine and enjoy other club members and quests.

We recently held the reception for our daughters wedding at English Turn Country Club - it was an outstanding success. The staff at ET went above and beyond to ensure it was a truly memorable event for all. We recieved numerous complements on the staff and the food from our guests. During the planning for this event, ET went out of its way to accommodate our needs, and made the planning experience as painless as possible. The venue itself is beautiful and offers numerous opportunities for great pictures and flexibility in set up. My wife and I would higly recommend ET if you want a first-class New Orleans wedding.

Beautiful clubhouse, the food and service were good.

Got the opportunity to play here while in town last month for a Bachelor Party. The course was in fantastic shape and the staff was very friendly. As a former PGA Tour stop this course is a real challenge but a fair test of golf. The 15th green is on an island , and water comes in to play on several holes. I look forward to playing here again the next time we are in New Orleans.
