Pretty nice place for a quick bite before or after a round or two of golf. I mean get an Arnold Palmer here and tickle your own fancy!!!! Makes sense right??? Arnold Palmer... Golf.. You get it? Lol.The outdoor feel was amazing and sitting under the trees as they swayed in the breeze was intoxicating, I didnt wanna leave.Friendly staff are accommodating and eager to assist. The cafe is open to the public; but I do suggest making reservations because while the area is spacious, I can see how it fills up quickly.Just next door to the dining area is a golf store or sorts just for your shopping pleasure.

I found this restaurant on Open Table. It was a very nice place. It felt like home with the music and wrap-around-porch. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet was divine! There were eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, waffles, fried chicken, BBQ chicken, wine braised short ribs, collard greens, Mac n cheese, gumbo, potato salad, coleslaw, cookies, cheesecake, danish, and muffins!!! Whew! We ate very well and will tell others of our experience. Thank you!

We were married on Nov. 12, 2016 with a small wedding of about 85 people in attendance. From beginning to end, the Audubon Clubhouse Cafe was a joy to work with. Don Byerly, director of the facility, and Jordan Hahn, events manager, were polite, transparent, accommodating, and professional throughout the entire planning process and cognizant of our limited budget. Ms. Hahn picked up the responsibilities of sorting out pricing and details as the event drew closer, and made planning our wedding from out-of-state so much easier by replying promptly to my questions by phone or email, sending cost breakdown sheets, and always being willing to meet with us when we were in the area. She thought of everything from a rain plan for our outdoor reception to providing a timeline for the day of and basically acted as a built-in wedding planner for us. It was much-needed and very much appreciated! The venue itself is just stunning; surrounded by so much natural beauty and 100-year-old oak trees. Since many of our guests were coming in from out of town, having a place where we could have both the ceremony and the reception was important to us to cut down on the need for transportation. If you want to get the true flavor of New Orleans; this is the place to do it - from the setting to the incredible local food options they provided for us. My husband is gluten free and they were more than willing to accommodate any dietary restriction. Anything we asked for was considered thoughtfully and carefully. Though this venue was a little more expensive than others in our price range, the all-inclusive nature of it made it 100% worth it - food, tables, flatware, linens, setup, breakdown, bar, etc were all included in the cost. For the things that werent included, such as the wedding and grooms cake and the chairs for the outdoor ceremony, Ms. Hahn made sure to get them ordered for us and orchestrated their delivery and breakdown. The day of, she made sure we got a chance to eat the amazing food by providing a selection of the hors doeuvres and salad we had chosen as well as complimentary champagne for us in the bridal suite during our private moment before our first dance. During a tense family moment when there was an issue with a corsage, she magically conjured up another one, nipping the drama in the bud. The entire staff the night of the wedding, from the bartenders to the servers, were wonderfully kind and polite and all our guests couldnt stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and even Mr. Byerly, who first introduced us to the facility, made an appearance to make sure all was going well. The fairy lights they recently installed this year on the outdoor patio added the right bit of magic to our outdoor ceremony. For an intimate, meaningful wedding, we couldnt have imagined a more perfect spot.

We had previously been to the Audubon Clubhouse Café many times for brunch on Saturdays over the past year and each time was lovely but not today. This was the first trip we made on a Sunday when they offered the buffet (around 12:30pm so not so late into the brunch) and it was utterly disappointing. With the exception of the BBQ chicken all of the food had been out too long, or was just not good. The omelet was severely undercooked (eggs were still runny) and was not edible. Then we asked for our check to cut our disappointed losses and got the sticker shock of being charged $32 per person, which is 3X the price of a typical a la carte brunch entrée at this restaurant. They should at least have the common courtesy of advertising this shockingly high buffet price in advance, especially in light of the low quality offerings. We will not be returning again for a Sunday buffet.

Great little brunch spot with beautiful views on the Audubon Golf Course. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful Sunday mor ing in NOLA with their well stocked brunch buffet and specials in mimosas and Bloody Marys. I would recommend and look forward to going back this Spring.

Dont do brunch! Place has good reputation for lunches off menu, but brunch was flat out bad. Food was way over cooked and lost all flavor. Omelets were good, though. Service was friendly enough. Simple details overlooked...like having plates out for buffet. This is not their strong point.

Fabulous and best kept secret Uptown. A beautiful ambiance to have dinner on the wrap around porch facing the parks ancient oak trees and sounds of urban wildlife. Very nice menu selections and excellent pairings. Superb service.

My wedding was here on October 20, 2018. This place was fantastic, despite some initial misgivings. We rented the venue and the Oak Grove behind the venue itself for our ceremony and they arranged chairs for our guests (for a small fee). The weather was very questionable and it was going to rain any moment, so the venue coordinator, Kalin, helped a lot by communicating with the vendors involved and we were able to start our ceremony 6 minutes earlier, which actually made a huge difference between a drizzle during vows, and a legitimate steady rain. Primary pros to the Clubhouse as a wedding venue:Pros:- If you love oaks, the grounds are gorgeous.- Classy and beautiful interior with a spacious floor for dancing and a large wraparound veranda with plenty of space for dining. The weather at this time of year was great for an indoor/outdoor reception.- The food was amazing. The two hors doeuvres that really stood out were alligator skewers and fried boudin balls. It was mouthwatering. Entrees of note were shrimp and grits, blackened catfish, and the carved filet station, char-grilled oysters, and cheese/fruit stations were delicious.- We were able to have a private moment between the ceremony and reception in which we had drinks and small plates to enjoy some food and relax in the bridal suite while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour.- The staff was very polite, efficient, experienced, and accommodating. They even packed some to-go bags of leftovers for myself/groom, and our parents. They anticipated needs before they were even asked.Cons:- I live in Kentucky (Louisiana born/raised, which is why the wedding was there) and communication was a bit of an issue. A few months after I put down a deposit for the venue, I was trying to contact the venue coordinator of the time, Jordan, only to find out that she didnt work there anymore and Id been emailing her with questions for weeks and wondering why I wasnt getting any responses, aside from the fact that my wedding was months out.- There was an IT issue where voicemail messages werent getting through, so we and our our vendors were temporarily unable to communicate with the current venue coordinator, Kalin, the week of the wedding. However, when we managed to get in touch with Kalin, she had the issue addressed so communication improved. Overall, an excellent place for a wedding despite the issues we did encounter.

Horrible experience. Had lunch with group of 18 ladies - set up in advance. Arrived and nothing was set up. Servers were angry to have to push tables together, threw menus, slid chairs into walls. No support from management. Food was only average, service poor. Had to pay with one credit card or cash even though we were told we could pay via check. Were charged for 21 meals (should have been 18) and when we were paying total couldnt be changed because many of our people had already left and could vouch for the difference. Wont go back here again.
