It was great seeing the Jaywalkers Band at my clients Second Line Parade. Jerry and Darlene with their amazing group of talented musicians did a fantastic job as usual! The Jay Walkers are by far the best Second Line Band out there – I know – I have photographed many of them. No other band puts as much spirit into their performance as they do, which makes for a much better experience not only for the attendees and the client, but also for the sidewalk-spectators. Kudos to Jerry, Darlene and the gang!!

Everyone loved the band and the parade experience! Could not have asked for a more suiting way to celebrate our marriage. Very lively and fun to say the least. Could easily say it was one of the best if not the best part of the wedding celebration.

The second line that the Jay Walkers coordinated and performed was the highlight of our wedding for many of our guests. The group coordinated well with the venue and DJ who was running sound for the ceremony. The band played beautifully and The Grand Marshall helped keep the crowds at bay. The only negative comment was was it ran longer than we had originally asked for which was a little far for some of our guests.

We hired The Jaywalkers for a second line parade in the French Quarter for my husbands 75th birthday. Our group of 20 family and friends ranged in age from 25 to 76. Everyone agreed it was the best party they had ever attended. The band is excellent. They play great dixieland music and everyone along the parade route comes pouring out of the bars and into the streets to watch or join your parade. We must be in thousands of peoples videos of their vacation in New Orleans. Our parade Grand Marshall, Denise Embree, literally danced to the music for the entire length of the parade route. I would recommend having a second line parade for any special occasion. You will love it and your guests will love it. Denise will take care of all the details, parade permits, the police escort, and answer all your questions. You just show up ready to party, and they do all the rest.

I hired The Jaywalkers Second Line Band to escort my corporate group from a private jazz show at Preservation Hall to dinner at Sazerac House. This was by one of the top highlights of the entire trip for my guests! Who else can say they shut down a block of Bourbon St. and Canal St. on their commute to dinner?!Darlene and Jerry were an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. Both were extremely responsive and organized and made this process so easy for me. I cannot wait to bring another group to New Orleans just so I can work with them again!Thank you for everything!!

When my daughter asked for a second line at her wedding I had no idea what that was...it turned out to be the most amazing parade in the French quarter that evening. The Jaywalkers kept the music playing and the crowd entertained. Truly an event our family and friends will be talking about for a very long time.

We hired the Jaywalkers for a parade for my husbands 60th birthday. It was nothing short of an awesome, once-in-a-lifetime experience. They handle EVERYTHING (parade permits, police escort, band, coordinating with the bars involved, and who knows what else)...all you have to do is show up on time. Its a guaranteed blast for everyone in your group, and whoever else along the route who decides to join your parade (one of my favorite aspects of the whole thing!). They delivered on every promise made, and I cant recommend them highly enough.

The Jaywalkers were awesome. I bought the deluxe package where they handle all the arrangements and it went off with out a hitch. Darlene and Jerry were very helpful in choosing a route and couldnt have been nicer. We even got rained on and they played through the whole thing. I would definitely hire them again.

Music was phenomenal and Jaywalkers members were incredible. This was by far the main highlight of our trip. I have been suggesting this group and experience to everyone since the moment we returned home. One of my favorite and Certainly most memorable experiences of my life!

This weekend, I celebrated my 60th Birthday with family and friends in New Orleans.The highlight of the four day celebration/trip was the Second Line Parade.Grand Marshall, Darlene, lead the Jaywalkers Second Line Band and our group around the French Quarter.We drank, marched and danced along, St Louis, Bourbon, St Phillip to Royal Street; finishing with the band playing When the Saints Go Marching In at Brennans, our B-Day dinner destination. The Second Line Parade experience exceeded all my expectations. For half an hour, I was on a natural high; for there is no greater feeling than owning a city street with hundreds of onlookers joining in the Celebration! Thank you Jerry, Darlene and Jaywalkers for making this an unforgettable experience. You are the best.

This was the best idea and we all had a blast! very professional to deal with and who doesnt like to have their own parade and shut down canal street for a few blocks! highly recommend the Jaywalkers!

The Jaywalkers Second Line Band MADE THE PARTY!!! It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and all of my 21 family members made the trek to NOLA to celebrate this signature moment. No one, not even me, had a clue that the parade would be so much fun, so energizing and such a perfect prelude to our dinner at Arnauds.
