So much fun and very relaxing.

We took the five day cruise last year and are doing it again this summer. Nothing like anchoring in a harbor and watching the sunset. The only thing better is waking to a beautiful sunrise, having coffee and breakfast on the deck then setting sail for the day. Beautiful scenery, great food, great company and crew, what else do you need for a relaxing vacation.

My wife and i took a five day cruise several years ago. one of the best experiences of our lives. the Captain went above and beyond expectations and the crew, especially the 1st mate who made the wonderful meals among many other things, was exceptional. we intended to take another cruise, but wife became ill. sorry to see the ship is for sail, but thank you for the experience of a life time.

When for my birthday and just an awesome trip to do for brunch. Make sure you bring your own drinks and people that love to hang out, also it is a quick sail with good food

What a wonderful trip and a first class trip. The crew was superb and went out of their way to take care of us. We did the Sunday Brunch Trip...great spread of food...plenty to eat....I highly recommend it....and I plan to go back again...Thank you Mystic Whaler for giving us such a wonderful day.

Although the weather was 100+ degrees, we expected more out of the sail. There was no commentary or talk of any kind and it was more of a float luncheon. I was told the captain is fun and that he likes to do things for birthdays but that was not the case at all. I even confirmed with them when they called me and they said the same thing that something would be mentioned or done. Overall, a little disappointed.

Totally awesome this is our 5th year Capt jim and pat are the best! The crew is great and fun. The food is great! Looking forward to doing it again next year.

This was a trip me and my wife will remember forever, it was so wonderful to have taken this voyage off the coast of Connecticut. The staff and the captain are very professional, the captain is the one you imagine in the movies, he is very knowledgeable looks like he has been sailing for 50 years. The hospitality is second to none, the food the fruits the coffee the tea, the awesome clam chowder was the best I tasted. they make it fresh! The views the ocean the waves the history, its worth every penny! Just book it you will not regret it

The crew of the Mystic Whaler are always welcoming and courteous. The food is amazing!

Leaving from the city dock in New London, you can see that the captain and the crew of the Mystic Whaler are ready and there to make your time aboard the most enjoyable time it can be. The initial greeting on the dock, to the boarding process, to the lunch, to the hoisting and lowering of the sails, everyone is invested in you (the paying customer) having a good time. The ship, itself, is marvelous to see and beautiful to encounter. The trip out of the dock and down the Thames was smooth and nice. Captain John was informative when we stopped and took in all the sights out in the LI Sound along with everything that was there to see on shore in CT. Captain Pat made sure we got to where we needed to be and helped prepare a hearty lunch with plenty of food for everyone. The only advice I have for future participants is to make sure to bring your own drink, as there is not necessarily something for everyone (to your liking), but no one goes without. The only thing for the experience overall that cold change slightly cold be a bit more sailing and less sitting off shore at the ocean beach park area. It would have been nice to go out into the sound and move around a bit more to get a breeze and see the water going by. However, all in all there is nothing bad about this excursion opportunity,, in fact, it is a high recommend for anyone who is looking for a fun few hours out on the water. They take excellent care of you!

SIt back, relax, and enjoy! Ive tried both three and five day vacations aboard this vessel, and if a scenic tour of parts of Long Island Sound at the whim of the winds and tides appeals to you, you should consider this opportunity.

What a wonderful time my wife and I had aboard the Mystic Whaler! It was a beautiful Sunday, and we took the brunch cruise. The staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary, and this cruise made it special. My thanks to Captain John, Pat, and the other crew members.

So having a wonderful relaxing,I would highly recommend everyone trying it at least once.

The crew was awesome. The boat excursion was beautiful. The only drawback for me, and why I didnt give 5 stars, is because it was tough eating whole lobster on a sail boat with no tables. I would have preferred lobster roll on a sail boat trip.

At the Hudson River Festival, the journey on Mystic Whaler was the high point of the weekend. The moment of silence was unforgettable... one of those moments frozen in time forever. whether youve sailed before or not dont pass on an experience of a lifetime. There is nothing like it...

Captain John and the crew provided awesome experience for my siblings an I as we took our mom out on a diner cruise for her 80th birthday. Everyone had a great time especially Mom! I highly recommend going on a dinner cruise aboard the Mystic Whaler!

An evening on the Mystic Whaler is an amazing experience. The Captain is exceptional along with his crew. I took my fiance for his birthday and he loved it, We both enjoyed the atomosphere. The food is fantastic!!!!! I highly recommend this experience! You will not be disappointed!!!

Took my wife to celebrate her 50th. There were 2 or 3 other people on the cruise celebrating a birthday. I guess this is now the birthday celebration destination. An amazing time, unique and well worth the price of admission.
