I love the New Britain Y! Iam the preschool coach (I support the teachers). It is a place where management and staff are committed to caring for children and supporting families, especially during Covid Pandemic. I am so proud to be a part of the Y Team. We always strive to deliver great service and care, we actively work together to find ways to improve, and we reflect together and support each other during difficult times. I am so thankful that I work with such compassionate people. I get a great sense of purpose working for the Y and I am thankful for the families I serve and all the teachers I work with.

Staff is very rude ! And they wont hesitate to send your child home for a so call fever of 99 degrees when in all reality that’s not a fever. Also I always pay for my child to not attend school on weeks they been sent home! The staff will scream in the lobby about your balance in the y so they can embarrass you. Parents do run in and out idk why a simple reminder is not implicated.

Dumb organization, they are weird people

The YWCA is a gem in the New Britain community. Their no judgement fitness zone includes a gym, classes and private training. They also offer youth sports, dance, theater, and summer camp! Dedicated teachers make the preschool and childcare classes unbeatable.

A great place to work and be. Love the vibrant atmosphere and the mission this organization brings to the community.

The girl, Latoya was her name I believe. Terrible. YWCA please put somebody that knows what they are doing and know the requirements in the front desk for the preschool enrollment. She was clueless & very rude.

Very convenient place. Kids dont complain and close to my job

Ive been an all access pass member at the YWCA for almost three years. I love the fitness classes, trainers, environment, and all the other fitness members. Im lucky to live so close to such a great gym. I recommend trying Pilates, Spin, Toning, Barre, or stability ball for a fun challenge. This gym is the reason Ive been able to maintain my exercise and activity goals.

I work here, my son attends school here, my daughter was in a summer camp, gymnastics and ahw would like to do karate. I have all access to the gym and only pay a very small fee. If I would like to have a gathering I can for a small fee as well. Most importantly I can learn and grow within self and career.

This organization is poorly run with a clueless, heartless Executive Director with no actual care for the community being served or the leadership skills needed for the role. I would not recommend supporting this organization financially or through a membership.

A lady attacked me in front of my child at the ywca in new Britain ct..the employees watched her attack me in front of my daughter and did nothing about it.this place is very unsafe and very unprofessional.i wouldnt recommend anyone to bring their child to this daycare.
