Percy Warner park never disappoints. With over 20 miles of roads and trails you have enough for the whole family. You can walk, drive, use golf carts or wheel chairs on some trails. You can also go horse back riding on dedicated paths. The area is breathtakingly beautiful in any season. Great place to relax and recharge or escape the craziness of morden hectic life. Also great opportunity to get in shape if you choose to go up hill :)

Pleasantly surprised to find an expanse of paved, horse, and hiking trails within driving distance of most of the city! Well maintained and not too packed during the day. Trails are mostly marked though to find your way around and trailheads explain the various routes.

My favorite spot to hike in Nashville!!! The Mossy Ridge Candy Cane Connecter Trail is over 6.5 miles, and it’s definitely a cardio workout with all of the hills! I love it!!! If you’re in the Nashville area looking for a great place to hike, this is it!!!

This is an amazing park not far from the heart of downtown Nashville. The full moon pickin party is one of my most favorite things about Nashville. It runs the May-Oct and is only $20. The music you can hear here is like nothing else you can experience. Support the local park and the full moon pickin party!

Some cool trails, but also some steep hills. For my first time it was cool. Just make sure you stick to the trail. We didnt and ended up at the opposite side of the park. After 3 trails and an 8+ mile hike, I took a Lyft back to the other side. No shame here, was not going back into the jungle lol.

By far my favorite place in Nashville. Not an exaggeration. The place is full of nature. It’s a foresty mountain kind of park. There are many trail for hiking, jogging and cycling. But also, you can drive through the slopes with your car, so it has a car trail as well. And the best part about driving is that every once in while you’ll hit a road division, and it depends on your choice to make this nature journey shorter or longer. Love this place. The pictures I’m uploading were taking in the fall, so the trees are kinda naked which doesn’t give this place justice.

Best place for a REAL trail-run in Nashville. If you want some more challenging terrain the Blue trail is my favorite. For longer runs and big hills check the red. And once construction is done go check out the white trail and the Belle Meade stairs.

Was in town for business and decided to stay the weekend. It was a warm fall day so found this park not too far from downtown. It was easy to get to and lots of space for parking. The trails were very well marked, with detailed maps at the trail heads. There are paved pathways which look great for easy walking especially with strollers but I mostly stayed on the unpaved paths that wind through the hills. The paths were very well marked and less traveled so made for some nice quiet hiking.Wildlife is obviously accustomed to hikers as I spotted a few deer only a few feet from the path. They did not startle and were easy to approach and take photographs.Beautiful park, glad I took the time to visit it when I was there.

There are two frequently used trails at Percy Warner. The red trail (or Mossy Ridge Trail) is a 4.5 mile loop with elevation change of 900 feet. Runners and hikers share the trail. Dogs are supposed to be in a leash. There is some tricky terrain - hiking poles are helpful for people with knee issues. The white trail is 2.5 miles with elevation change of 450 feet. Similar terrain.

Absolutely amazing. Perfect place to take the kids on a walk and offers some tougher trails for when they are feeling adventurous. Beautiful scenery and clean environment. What a special place we have here in Nashville. I grew up going to this park and have many great memories (except Steeplechase ‘86 but that’s a long story). Anyway, do yourself a favor and walk, run or hike a trail, have a picnic, play some ultimate frisbee or just drive one of the scenic drives. You won’t be disappointed.

Re
Review №65

We must have taken the wrong trails. Everyone else loves these trails, but we weren’t very excited about them. None of them are marked, so you just need to take a picture of the map at the beginning so you know where to turn. I’m sure if you were going here for pure exercise or if you live in the city, this would be better for you. We decided to do the trail to the scenic overlook but there was nothing there. Steps went up to a bench that overlooked...the other side of the path. Maybe there used to be a nice overlook but now the trees were all grown up. We did enjoy the butterflies here.

If you enjoy the outdoors, youll love this place! There are horse trails, walking trails scenic drives as if youre deep in the countryside. They have covered open log cabins with fireplaces and picnic tables inside. Some of them are the originals from the 1930s. You will see wildlife such as deer, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits excetera. My family loves to go to the cabins and build a fire to roast Weenies and marshmallows and tell ghost stories. This is the perfect time for it!
