This is a weird park. Its a giant pasture with walking trails mowed throughout. Maybe city folks enjoy it, but as someone who loves hiking through the woods, I just couldnt get over how weird it was to be walking in a giant open field with just the tall brush separating everything. The surrounding views are amazing. There are huge hills all around. The campsite is also pretty cool, but very small and compact.

Love the rolling hills and various paths that you can take. There is also plenty of room to spread out from other hikers during the pandemic, which isn’t always the case on most Nashville trails.

Fantastic spot. The grounds are better than the indoor area though. There just isn’t much to look at.

Sooooo fun. The farmers festival that was held here was amazing, and they have trails and a rock climbing wall inside the center.the yalso have this huge rock outside that doubles as a four sided rock climbing wall. Me and my family had such a good time.

Pretty drive and park. Unfortunately I went because I had read that its a great place for stargazing - it wasnt. The light pollution is really bad. This is definitely not a place with a dark sky.

Beautiful area. Lots of grass and gravel paths to explore. Can be pretty muddy after rain so make sure you have proper shoes. Excellent for dog people. Just beware of prickers and thorns.

Beautiful park outside of Nashville. Quiet & peaceful, a bit of a drive to get there.Trails are beginner level and may be boring to someone seeking a challenge.

Pros: 1) Great for low impact running since its all dirt trails; 2) allows dogs; and 3) has several routes that can be combined for long runs/hikes.Cons: 1) Kind of far from the city; 2) doesnt have challenging hills; and 3) gets extremely muddy, which is often in rainy Nashville.

Huge open areas! Mostly fields which were used as farm land (livestock and crops). Part of Nashvilles past history: Big time native Indian village sites taken over later by contemporary man.
