Best happy hour drink prices for Friday after work.

This place is truly shady. No water folks! Unless you pay three dollars for the off brand water bottle. They even refused to serve a cup of ice. I talked to the supposed venue owner personally and he was detestable and almost as rude as his bartenders. You can’t turn up the heat shut the doors and force people to buy water. It’s illegal. You also can’t have an event without a bathroom. It’s illegal. Luckily, there was at least a bathroom. Where’s the coolers and cups? I hope the state shuts you down you greedy sickos.

It was a nice and laid back time. Just people having a good time. Highly recommend going.

Decent venue, but I wanted badly to get bottle service and just couldnt justify $225 for a bottle of Jack Daniels. They would make a lot more money if they didnt try to price gouge harder than Vegas.

Happy hour is great, great music, great drink specials and good food. After happy hour the crowd changes into a younger crowd.

Great Music but the venue is more of a younger crowd. 21 to 30 yrs old. Had fun while I was there. The crowd enjoys the early drink specials and a free buffet.

Nashville needs a new club. This place is in desperate need for a redesign. It survives bc of the lack of competition and amazing location.

Line was long and only one person checking ID...VIP was nothing to write home about...Music was good tho...

The line moved rather fast. The house mom in the bathrooms was such a lovely woman. Great job! But It was slow at the bar, one bartender was very rude and had to wait 15 just to order (mind you she never even took the order) Finally one of the more professional bartenders from the other side of the bar, opposite of where we placed our ordered had helped us and was also quite sweet. The show was pretty good and overall it was cool.

Didnt care that drinks were overpriced. Cared that the whole place was disgusting and covered in dust. Also wouldnt let anyone use the restroom after the show ended so everyone pissed outside in the street. Oh yeah! Also dont come here if you want your ears to be working after you leave! My ears were ringing three days after going here for a concert.

Dont let the songs play all the way to the end. Plus talking to much while the song is playing. Not enough seating spot. Plus people standing at the bar that is not buying a drink making hard for the ones that is buying drinks

Best happy hour in the city! The bartenders are great and work well even when its 20 folk vying for their attention. Friday after work is the best time to go. Plus they have free food at 6 (soul food type ) and great menu options if you dont want that.

Love this establishment! Happy Hour is always popping. I especially love the diversity being brought to the venue. Jazz, Comedy, EDM? Definitely on my map.

Security refused to help my sister who needed medical attention. They told her to get off the property rather than assist her or attempt to contact anyone whom she is related to. Detestable and disgusting behaviour.

Went to the Moneybaggyo concert. Flyer said it was going to be from 10:00pm-2:00am. He didn’t show up until AFTER 2:00am. It is hot as hell in there. There were people literally passing out from left to right. I even took care a few of them. The venue wouldn’t be so bad if they had the air conditioners working. There’s tons of people and alcohol involved. You would think there would be huge fans plus the air conditioners blasting at all times. Negative. Let’s not forget the terrible audio system. The treble in those speakers was ridiculous. Half of the club was holding their ears from all of the unnecessary treble from the speakers. Not sure if I’ll be back. But, I’m willing to give anything a second chance I guess. Lol.

The drink specials on Friday nights are awesome. Plus the free admission.

I went to Limelight with my family for a T.S.U. homecoming concert and it was so hot in the facility that one of my family members passed out inside the club. Keep in mind that we could not even drink our purchased beverages due to the hot temperature inside the club. The security guards made a comment of Another drunk one while we were dragging my relative out of Limelight and none of Limelights staff offered to help us in any way. Once we were able to get my relative outside we were not allowed to sit him down on the concrete inside of the fence so that he could cool off and were informed by a Limelight staff member that we had to sit him on the sidewalk/curb outside of Limelights fence. Maybe Limelight should be shut down if their cooling unit is incapable of properly cooling the facility that their website states can accommodate 100 to 1500 people.

This place seems like an average venue, not super nice, not super bad. They have a fenced in parking area which is nice. At the event I attended it was free parking. The venue only had 2 bartenders for a large event. It took me 45 minutes standing at the bar to even order my drinks. They could have easily tripled their sales if they had been staffed correctly. I dont think I would come back to an event here because of that, but it could have been a one off situation where workers didnt show up.

Security is rude, acting more like the TSA. Bartenders are rude, rolling their eyes and taking forever on (extremely) watered down drinks. Building is in need of repair, VIP lounge was about as bad as the bathrooms (we were some of the first there that night) and the bottle service is horrible. Honestly one of the worst music venues in Nashville.

Great for happy hour Friday from like 5pm untill 9 or 10pm. Great urban crowd. Kool djs. 3for1s and 2 for 1s. Bigg dance flow and peolple actually dancing. I always have a good time when i visit.

Don’t come here unless you want your ears to be ringing until the next day. my ears are muffled

My favorite bar in Nashville on a Friday night. Most of the clientele that you find here on a Friday night are Tennessee State University graduates and locals. Its free entry, a free buffet, and starting at 5pm or 6pm I think is the 4 for 1 drink specials

Ratchet as hell ,no real crowed control, fights braking out, gang signs in the air everywhere... a place Im not going back to unless I hear of real change in management NOT the manager

This was the worst club experience I have had. Traveled 3 hours to enjoy myself. Paid 1000 dollars for VIP. We were the only people with VIP and did not have any waiter or hostess to provide us service. Table was suppose to come with two bottles. We had to ask for our bottles. We didnt receive our bottles for another 30 mins. Didnt ask what kind of chaser we would like for our drinks. The bottles did not come with sparkles. The table was supposed to come with two appetizers. We had to ask for the appetizers. 1hour and 30 mins later we still did not receive our appetizers. The promoter states he would make it up to us. He proceeded to ask if we would like another bottle, I stated yes thinking this was his way of giving back to us. He states we would have to pay for the bottle. Guess you can see I met my first real janky promoter. I do not recommend this club.

Cool place for homecoming because you can control the crowd, otherwise it would be too hood for me on a regular night

Venue was okay, everything could have been more organized when having concerts or events , waited 3 hours in the cold to get in.

They let horrible promoters book shows there and artists dont show up. Spent 400 on a booth and they wouldnt give me my money back. DO NOT GO TO LIMELIGHT

My wife and I recently attended the Ro James concert this past weekend at this establishment it was our first time at Limelight and OUR LAST!!!The security staff is HORRIBLE ARROGANT AND DISRESPECTFUL,WE DROVE 3 HOURS IN TORRENTIAL RAIN TO BE TREATED LIKE WE WERE BEING PROCESSED INTO THE COUNTY JAIL.PEOPLE WERE MADE TO WAIT OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS ,THEN AFTER BEING YELLED AT AND SUBJECTED TO ATTEMPTED INTIMIDATION ATTEMPTS AND SARCASTIC REMARKS BY THIS STAFF THE DOORS WERE OPEN AND A FEW OF THE VIP TICKET HOLDERS ALLOWED INSIDE WE WERE THEN ROUNDED UP AGAIN AND FORCED BACK OUTSIDE FOR ANOTHER 30 MINS BEFORE THE START OF THE SHOW,TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THIS PLACE DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A WAIT STAFF!!! I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE(LIMELIGHT) AGAIN IN LIFE...IF NEGATIVE STARS WERE AVAILABLE THEY WOULD HAVE -10 STARS

This venue is the absolute worst place i have ever attend. The concert tickets said the concert would start at 930 and would be over by 230 , well we got in line at 9 and waited in the cold until 1040 because the doors didnt get opened until 1020. When inside we were first to the front of the stage to see 21 savage , well as the night went on a lot of hood rat girls tried to fight us for our spot and they were pushing, shoving, and threating to beat us up for absolutely no reason. The security also did not do anything when we told then and they laughed with the girls and pretty much high fived them it was absolutely ridiculous. The limelight was so unorganized and the noise is terrible there system shut dowm multiple times and everyone was just standing around and also there drinks tasted like cheap liquor. They also gave a minor a 21+ drinking pass.
