Their version of “line dancing” was very disappointing. They teach ONE dance and play the same dance to 5 different songs then return to live music while you sit down. If you’re a legit line dancer or even looking to dance without interruption, this is the wrong bar. The drinks were pricy as expected but not worth it, I tried 3 different drinks and they were all terrible. The live music was the only thing worth going to this bar for.

Two days prior, the place was maxed at all 3 levels; this evening there was 40 people total due to the rain, thunderstorms and flash floods. Wild Horse Saloon was a great place to go to for a mid day lunch in Nashville! We were invited here by a friend who said this was an exceptional place to eat with good daytime entertainment. We were sat promptly, hostess was very nice, and we got a nice table on the right side of the stage. You can see the perspective in my photos below, good view of the stage. There were a few performers on stage when we got there and they were playing some good music. Our server came by quickly as well and I was told to try the ribs. I am glad I did! They were so good, not dry at all. They were literally fall off the bone tender with a great smoky rub. Amazing flavour as well. Additionally, the beans were really good as well. Slaw was good too, different than what I am used to, but really tasty. I am glad we came to Wild Horse Saloon, it was a fantastic experience with a very impressive atmosphere. Super clean tables and washrooms. Excellent food and service. This is a must visit when in Nashville!

This was the first place we visited in Nashville. The waitress was very friendly, prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. She noticed my fiance pointing to me when they asked whose birthday it was and surprised our table with a delicious dessert. She recommended the brunch burger and the fried chicken dinner and we were very happy with both choices. The line dancing lessons and live music made the overall experience very cool. Go for the food, the service and the music. You wont be disappointed!

This place has been on my bucket list for years. So yesterday afternoon (Wednesday March 4) was our time to finally visit. Note: this review won’t talk about the music, bands who played, nor how packed the large dance floor was. We realize we came in during the 11:00 am hour, when it wasn’t busy yet. Anyway, I ordered the bacon n’ blue burger ($16) and my wife, the birthday girl, got the low country crab cakes ($15) and creamed street corn ($6). Our food was excellent! During lunch, our server asked us if we wanted to take a line dancing lesson. Although we passed, I was glad a nearby family of 4 said yes. Watching from our table, I thought the instructor was really good, and patient. I’m sure she deals with us, non line dancers, regularly. After lunch, we visited the gift shop to successfully complete our Wildhorse Saloon experience!

Sunday evening wasn’t too busy. Love performances and in between the performances, the saloon did line dancing classes for the audience. Overall, it’s a very fun atmosphere with clever statues of horses in funny positions located around the establishment. We had the fried pickles, which I highly recommend. They weren’t too fried and the ranch dressing had a slight kick that made the combo delicious. My gf and I weren’t too hungry afterwards so we shared a Pick 2 of brisket and pork with collard greens and Mac n cheese. The collard greens weren’t that good in truth. It must be something they add to make them stand out. Instead, they weren’t the traditional greens I wanted. The Mac and cheese was delicious.

If youre a country fan from Texas, this is not the place for you. This is the only place near the Nashville action with a dance floor so we were excited to go dance in the home of country music. Instead morons are permitted to stand on the dance floor, bring their drinks (and spill them) and waste space. The band was great but I think the morons in there didnt realize they were live. Very little applause or attention. It would be awesome if this place educated tourists on country customs and maybe even separated a smaller area in front of the stage to stand. Food was ok and our service was excellent. Line dancing at 11pm was a big hit for others.

This was a great bar/country dancing. We were their with my daughters team with a group of 25ish. We got our food fast. The BBQ was very good but the burger was not good at all. We got there at 5:15. We were told if we got there before 6:00 there would be no cover charge at the door. Everyone under 21 has to leave at 10:00. They do line dancing lessons while the bands set up/switch and they do a great job teaching. The bands were really good and play a great variety of music. There are 3 floors. The 3rd floor was closed for an event. There are 3 bars on the 1st floor and a big bar on the 2nd floor with pools tables and such. It did get very busy but I never felt crushed or crowded. The world famous Wildhorse Saloon is my favorite venue in Nashville. It is all about great live music in the comfort of a world class music hall. What they do on a daily basis is always top notch, but they really shine for their private customers. We do a charity fundraiser concert every year, and the Wildhorse Saloon was by far our best venue yet. Plenty of space for our nearly 2,000 guests, food, and tables. The layout provides ample seating AND a huge dance floor. There is not a bad spot in the whole place. 3 levels of fun. If you are in the building, you are in the music hall.Their entire staff (especially Chelsea) went above and beyond to make sure our event was smooth and spectacular. If this event was in Nashville every year, it would be held at the Wildhorse Saloon every year. 2 thumbs. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

I went on a Saturday night (11/9/19) and it was super busy. I saw a sign saying “open seating” so I sat down at a table nearby and expected to order food. Instead, management came up to me and informed me that I was in the dining area and needed to be on a wait list to be seated there. Fair enough, but when I explained my mistake, the manager argued with me and told me that the sign didn’t say what I thought it did. Clearly, I misunderstood it. I acknowledged that. She could’ve approached the situation differently and said something like: “I can see how it can be a little confusing, but the rules are actually...” Instead, she took a rude tone with me and I decided to leave. On the way out, I noticed a hostess explaining the different seating options to new people coming in. No one had done that with me when I entered. As I said, it was busy and they probably didn’t notice me walk in, so I don’t blame them for that, but the better practice is to assume the best of your customers when you see them doing something wrong, not to argue with them and lecture them.I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the bartender who helped me was actually very nice. It’s probably a great place overall. I just had a bad experience with this one manager and decided to leave.

My wife and some other friends of ours came here on our last day in Nashville. My wife wanted to do some line dancing and Wildhorse offers FREE line dancing lessons, which was perfect. Firstly, the service was not very good. After probably about 10 minutes, our waiter decided to come over and greet us and he appeared like he didnt even want to be there. The wings for appetizer were good and really spicy. Our main courses were all ok, but nothing special. I got the fried chicken and it only came with two pieces, but they were a decent size. My wife also got chicken and hers was very dry and not very good. The best thing about Wildhorse is the fact that they have a big dance floor where you could line dance. Overall, I would recommend Wildhorse for line dancing and some drinks, but not to eat at.
