Phenomenal. So pretty to my ears. If you want to actually feel something, this is the place to be. It encapsulates beauty, for your listening pleasure. I would recommend anyone who has a pulse to listen and watch the absolute purity and beauty of the symphony.

An exquisite evening of culture right in our own backyard! Go to the conductors discussion before the performance. It is the perfect orientation to the music you will hear during the evening, especially if you enjoy an occasional evening of classical music but arent an expert. So much talent! Highly recommended.

Glen Burtniks Summer of Love was an excellent concert performance! The core band was great and the featured singers came in to truly rock the house. You can even get tickets for around $20 a piece if you keep an eye out! This place is a must see. The building is absolutely breathtaking.

Exeptional! One of the best treasures in Nashville. Theres nothing like getting dressed up and experiencing the Symphony. It truly moves you, the passion and feeling behind every note makes me misty eyed every time Im honered to hear them play.

I just went and saw Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with the Nashville Symphony playing the soundtrack. It was great! Even though the orchestra was right in front of me, I would forget they were there. The music was perfectly in sync with the movie. It was a really cool experience!And a note on the Schermerhorn: it is an absolutely beautiful building!

This place is amazing! Just absolutely beautiful. There is not a bad seat in the house. You cannot buy the acoustics in this place. The symphony was outstanding! We loved it.

This is one of the most beautiful venues in Nashville. Unfortunately, the two rock concerts I have seen here (Johnny Lang and the Hendrix Experience) both suffered the same problem: far too much volume. Now let it be known I am a rock guy. I like loud. But if it comes to the middle of the show and you can no longer make out nuances, it is too loud.The shame is, both concerts are the kind you would want to get nuances.Now the venue itself is lovely. For the first show we sat in the middle about 10 rows back. Very comfortable and the view was good.For the second, we were in one of the side box seats. While the experience was enjoyable of having your own private balcony, I did find the view a little challenging at times, and the sound was probably actually worse for this style of concert.I will make it a point to update this review if we are ever fortunate to attend a show more well suited for the venue (Orchestral or maybe Jazz).

First time ever being in this place and let me tell you, its a beautiful place. The people that work there are bery nice courteous and helpful. My daughters and I went to go see Foreigner perform with the Symphony and it was a great show. If you have never been there look for an excuse to go and take you family, you all will love it Im pretty sure.

Had a wonderful time with the wife for Valentines day. The place was beautiful, the orchestra played exquisitely and Patti Labelle was off the chain. We will definitely be back at another time.

This was the perfect venue. It was beautiful and the sound was perfect! I could only dream of performing there. There were nice people at every turn to guide us to our seats. The Getty concert was absolutely wonderful. We plan to return next year.Also, the parking was really close and protected. Great experience!

Not only is the symphony fantastic, but the Schermerhorn is one of the most exquisite venues anywhere!Parking is abundant at several neighboring lots. Some of Nashvilles finest restaurants are within walking distance. The view of the downtown skyline over the fountain is breathtaking.This is one of my favorite Nashville must do events.

Beautiful! The venue felt a little bit like a Jane Austin era building with 1920s amazing lamps and velvety chairs. They were narrow on my well endowed hips, but many people left at intermission so there was plenty of room. We were on the back row of the highest balcony and it felt closer to the stage than the closest balcony at the Atlanta symphony. Each level had its own parlor for intermission with wine, water and soda available. I did not order any wine because it was 12 dollars for a glass. But my friend did and said the red was very good.

Not only was the building gorgeous both outside and inside. The chairs were great and comfortable with plenty of space between rows for long legs. The staff was super nice and helpful. From where are the restrooms? To help getting to our seats. Bartenders were polite and fast.I can not describe the skill of the orchestra in words better than Just go hear it for yourself.We will be going back.

We have been to the Schermerhorn/Nashville Symphony Center four times and I love the facility. It is beautiful and the acoustics are amazing. The staff is helpful...they sales staff helped me with a ticketing snafu last season and really jumped through hoops to make it right. The ushers are lovely. This past show I forgot my tickets on the kitchen table and the box office will call printed new ones with no hassle. The bartenders are quick at making drinks! We have tickets to three more shows this season and I am looking forward to all of them. Their schedule has amazing variety!

A beautiful, elegant venue set in the heart of Nashville, the Symphony center is a truly wonderful place to go to a concert in.Between the rich wood and stately stone pillars and walls is a beautiful concert hall. It is rectangular to accommodate balls, and the acoustics are great every time I have been. I have seen two concerts here, and both were phenomenal. There are two small bars outside of the entrances to the main room, and serve refreshments you can take in to the room. An amazing organ is located on the wall behind the performance stage, and chandeliers hang from the ceiling far above.I highly recommend this venue, and more importantly listening to the Nashville Symphony! A great group in a great venue right downtown.Note: the pictures below are simply whitebalanced differently. The actual color of the room is somewhere between, a warm white.

Only my second time to see a concert here and tonight was awesome! Not only is Michael W Smith great but when you are performing in such an awesome venue with an amazing symphony its even better!

Beautiful neoclassical architecture design with lots of natural lighting. A wonderful place to see and hear music from the classics to the movie Home Alone for Christmas. The volunteers are always very helpful.

Great first experience here seeing Foreigner play with the Symphony! There are truly no bad seats in the building. The sound was incredible. The staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely want to go back!

Participated in first annual Nashville Christmas Carol sing. Nashville string orchestra and a 600 voice choir worshipping the reason for the season. 5 p.m. presentation was sold out. 8 p.m. also well attended. Acoustics are incredible, seating is comfortable a very good venue to attend.

We love going to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center! They always have amazing events going on. When the symphony is playing, sitting behind the stage is my favorite. You can really see the musicians up close. But as you can see from the pictures, sitting in front of the stage gives you great views, too. The symphony is incredible, I highly recommend checking it out.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Parking was a little pricey but right across the street in the parking deck. The balcony seats were not bad at all. Plenty of room for a big man :)

Beautiful building, very comfortable to enjoy a good concert or play, the people are very friendly and will help you get to your seats, there is a full bar were you can buy drinks and snacks before and in the intermezo, the acoustic is awesome , what is expected in this places.There are no free parking, but right in the front you can find pay parking, a little expensive and you have to be sure where you park because there are 2 companies that operate in the same lot one with yellow lines another with white and you have to make sure to pay in the right machine or you will get a ticket. It happen to a lot of people including me the first time I park there.

Well, the place is immaculate, we all know that. The staff is wonderful. // Tonight I had my first Messiah experience and it was divine. The orchestra and the choir precise almost to the point of robots. It was otherworldly. The soloists have a warm voice and they were seriously hand picked. I dont know how the director does it but everything was extremely studied, the volume, the softeness, the strength. I do believe his hands are anointed. The trumpet ... The violin.. I wish the Schermerhorn was my house!

Nashville symphony is a beautiful place! The not bad seat in the whole place. The the orchestra always does a wonderful job with the music and there was no difference tonight when they played with India Arie. India Arie have a spectacular performance and this my second time seeing her ️

We went to see Jack Hannah Live, it was the first time we had been to the venue. Its a very pretty venue, and there were no bad seats as far as we could tell. I would definitely see more shows here!

We attended the Drew & Ellie Holcomb Christmas show. Overall its a very nice venue and its easy to get to. The sound wasnt great where we sat (behind the stage), which was expected. The drinks are very expensive for the little cup they give you.

We love going to the Schermerhorn. The symphony is outstanding with a great lineup of pop concerts as well as the classical selections. Its a beautiful building and your reception is unfailingly friendly.

We had a great time at the Elvis Christmas concert at the Schermerhorn downtown Nashville. Thanks to our daughter Faith Groves. And before the show we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at PF Changs thanks to our son Caleb Jeffreys. What a wonderful anniversary, 48 years with my beautiful bride.

One of the best sounds Ive ever heard at a concert. We saw Foreigner with the Nashville Symphony and the concert and venue could not have been better. Our only complaint would be the seats. Very uncomfortable. My husband and I will be back to see Johnny Lang.

Amazing Hall. All the seats are great, but my favorite is front right for an orchestral performance where you can feel the bass players vibrate through the floor.

Incredibly disappointed in the symphony. We bought tickets to the Patti Labelle concert which was absolutely awful and they knew it. Several people left with us 20 minutes in to her performing. When I called they said they knew there was a problem and that they would give us bonus tickets. That sounded good until we looked at the list. It was subpar at best and not even close to what we paid or the talent we were expecting. We are very disappointed to say the least. We have to many venues to go to concerts here in Nashville so we will not be back.

One of the most beautiful and acoustically perfect concert hills in the United States. Gorgeous architecture crowns the warm and crisp acoustics. It really makes everything played by the orchestra sound spectacular.The city must feel quite proud of this venue. Its neoclassical concept contrasts with the many modern buildings around downtown, adding a nice touch to the atmosphere. There are several hotels within walking distance, whichs makes the Symphony a desirable get away destination for a weekend.

Schermerhorn ...mm, music to my ears. Its become a tradition to get movie night tickets every winter holiday season. This year: Home Alone 12/12. If youre a tourist visiting, definitely get yourself a seat before leaving the Music City. Such a beautiful and memorable venue!

Oh my I had one the best time in my life the Nashville Symphony box seats were the best and I do mean best. Such a nice luxurious area the place was just five star all the way around. I truly enjoyedThe event of a Kirk Franklin gospel was there and I had the time of my life.

What a wonderful experience! If you havent been to the symphony, you need to go! It was delightful. Plenty of people to help you find your seats, bar, drinks, some snacks, anything you would want. Clean restrooms are also a great plus. Wear whatever you want to. I saw people in fancy dresses and people in jeans. All are welcome. Make sure to bring $40 to park though.

Omg if you havent been yet you need to go. Just left Beauty and the Beast. I never been to anything like this. It was simply beautiful. Its not mandatory formal attire. There was people dressed up and others comfortable. It is very clean and well taken care of. The staff is very helpful navigating where you need to go
