This place is a gem of a campground! Huge, concrete level sites with patio and fireplace, a small lake with kayak and board rentals, fire wood delivered to your site, basketball, shuffleboard, a hammock farm, duck shaped pool, gem hunting, minigolf...the list goes on. Very friendly and all literally next door to Michigans Adventure!

Duck Creek is a very nice RV park with amenities to keep the family busy. It is clean, neat and well run from what I can tell. The only negatives were the price and barking dogs just outside the park. There must be a kennel because it just ruins sitting outside and enjoying a morning cup of coffee.

Resort is super duper clean and well maintained. There was a bunch of families with kids. This location has nice outdoor pool area with hot spa, tennis courts, play area forkids with slides, volleyball area, hammocks, indoor pool and games, some water activities too. You can rent kayaks and paddle boats. Trash is picked up several times a day. All the spots have bonfire rings and table set. Firewood is delivered to you for free if you buy logs from resort. They have 20A/30A/50A hookups. Sewer connections are nice right next to your RV.

Park is beautiful and well maintained . Great family park. Wi-fi is terrible. Only negative. Sites all concrete with ample room between. New waterfront sites are great. Best to stay the farthest from the pool due to a dog kennel across the lake. Staff very nice and park well maintained. Will come back.

They have so much to do here, mini golf, gem mining, a pool, arcade, volleyball, basketball, beach, lake, tennis court, a beautiful nature walk, dog park. They come twice a day to pick up your garbage and they have full Hook up with cable TV. Wonderful beautiful RV resort! Close to Michigan adventure, a few minutes to the beach/lake Michigan. Come check this out, its well worth it!

Great Campground, beautiful and spacious lots and great amenities. Loved their pickle ball court, great playground, arcade, clean laundry facility and bathrooms, and great heated pool and hot tub area. We enjoyed our stay here, but there were some disappointments. There are No daily kids activities or themed weekends, but they are right across from Michigan’s Adventure! The boat/bike rentals looked like fun, but were too expensive, cost $15-20 to rent a bike trolley for 30 min, $10 to rent a paddle boat for 30 min, a little pricey if you ask me. If rentals were more affordable people would rent them more or give people a little more time for the price. Our biggest issue though was with some seasonal campers. My daughter was bullied by some of the seasonal campers kids and grandkids for no reason. These kids were just darn right mean from the gecko. I witnessed it with my own eyes. Their parents just let their kids run all around the campground with no adult supervision and they are running the playground, these kids got all the other kids to gain up on my daughter and tried to not let her play in certain areas by blocking her off. We went to the office and the people at the front desk pretty much told us there was nothing they could do about it, but that they knew who it was and that they tend to cause drama often in the park. This left a very bad taste in my mouth for this place. I was really dissatisfied that they wouldn’t even go talk to them or do anything, especially after they told me these people have caused issues before!! We were really thinking about getting a seasonal site at this place until then. Which is so disappointing because we really loved it there, except having to deal with drama from some spoiled little brats who’s parents let them do whatever they want. I don’t care if they have a seasonal site or not, if they are causing issues, you go over there and talk to them, warn them, and kick them out If they don’t follow the rules!!! I have never dealt with such drama from kids at a campground before! Most campers are happy and friendly, these people were just snots. I talked to the mother and she knew what was going on and was just as much of a brat and bully as her children. Such a shame that a nice company has to let people like this ruin their business, because we won’t be back until those people are gone. Other than this complaint, the Staff were very friendly and the park was very clean and nice.

Duck Creek was amazing. We found this place on accident during a google search and decided it may be worth the drive! I am sooo happy we did. Our family enjoyed Michigan so much and this RV resort is so clean, has beautiful concrete pads, and landscaping. The wifi did not work and I wish that would have been available. If you have young kids grab a spot by playground. We were very impressed and sad we don’t live closer.

A very nice clean place. Large lots , a bike trail right next to campground. Nice playground, fenced in dog area. Nice dog beach not far away. One issue we have had is with the pool and hot tub, they are connected and kids jump from hot tub into pool, do cannon balls into the hot tub! They need a sign stating no kids under certain age in the hot tub, and Hot tub is for relaxing !! They do not enforce rules at the pool area! I would never let my kids do cannon balls in the hot tub period , let alone when people are relaxing in it!Still a beautiful place.

New lake with sand beaches being built in 2016/17Modern and very clean restrooms and shower building.Paved, level parking pads and streets.Beautiful landscaping with soft green grass (and in-ground sprinkler systems to keep it that way) on all of the sites, bricked firepits on the concrete pad, no mosquitoes.Great fenced-in dog park!Great playground, and the office has rental bikes and such for kids and adults, as well.No complaints to be had, other than they are pretty pricey, as campgrounds go, but the amenities are worth it!

This place is amazing! Clean and big lots, beautiful new picnic tables (not old, nasty wooden ones where no one ever replaces them). 10 lb bag of ice is $2.75 and they deliver it to your site for free, they also deliver ice for free (I dont remember the cost off hand). Nice, clean bathrooms...they have a beautiful pool, kid pool area, jacuzzi and beach front. They pick up trash pretty much all day. The staff was extremely friendly. When you get there and check in, someone escorts you to your site and helps you navigate the backing in process. We cant wait to go back. Added bonus: Michigan Adventure is across the street!

I go camping a lot. This is the best rv resort I have stayed at. The do things other campgrounds dont. When you get there they have a ranger lead you to your site, and assist in backing in. The sites a large for an RV resort, with large common areas between the rows. The Amenities are great as well. I would NOT recommend this campground if you want to sit out by the fire at night, or ride your bikes, or even have a conversation with multiple people at your site.It seemed as if we were scolded every time we attempted to have a good time. We were even “talked to” about the front end of our truck being slightly over the concrete line near the road. You are not allowed to ride bikes after dark. There are multiple sprinklers at each site, which turn on at dusk and SOAK everything. We were sitting by our fire around 11:30 pm having a conversation and the campground guard came and literally yelled at us to “take it inside- NOW”. Very very rude.I used the facilities at the club house, to do some laundry. I was told to “get out” because they had to lock up. I expressed that i had belongings there, and all i got was “i dont know what to tell you”.I do appreciate the cleanliness of this campground, but they seem to be way too strict. The only reason i would return, is because they are right across from Michigans Adventure. I believe that is the only reason they get business.

Very clean, very friendly staff, almost to quiet for a campground. At times I wondered if we were the only people there. Upon check in they have someone guide you to your site and help you back in (we had to blind side back in) and explain the amenities of the park to you. If you need firewood or ice, theyll deliver it to your campsite and help unload it. Need your trash picked up, no problem there either, just put your bag on the curb and its gone in minutes. The pool and spa are salt water and maintained well. Im an adult with no kids so I didnt visit the playground but walking past, it looked like a kids dream. Were already talking about coming back next year.

Review №99

Nice park. Expensive-$60 plus many little fees for whatever...BAD EXPERIENCE.Only to echo a few of the other reviews, the gentleman on the golf cart enforced the rules even when you were not breaking them. Constant watching and reprimanding. I was barked at AS I was reaching for the dogs leash not once, but twice. There were many other scoldings aimed at my daughter and even one about the paper tag in the windshield of a visiting car. NO ONE can escape being scolded. We constantly felt as if we were heading to the principals office. The half dozen or so other campers we spoke to had similar complaints and one seasonal family said they would not even consider returning because of the rediculousness. We ended up leaving the resort (and our vacation) a day early because of the rudeness and feelings of being stalked. We were also warned that the owners were not very kind nor cared about the patrons. Sad to report that is correct. I sent a polite email letting them know that their employee made our abbreviated stay very unpleasant if not unbearable. The response? I was told that we were, in fact, breaking the rules and to find a different park. It is sad how allowing (if not encouraging!) one rude employee to harangue vacationers can sour an otherwise lovely park. We will never return. I had not planned to write a negative review until the owners had a chance to respond. Hopefully this review can save you a negative, expensive, camping experience.
