Went to the bookstore to find Gabriels Balloon by Hope Ayers. They didnt have it yet but they had other books. The bookstore is vibrant and makes you want to buy something, and chill with a cup if coffee. The pavilion is designed zen like modern. Love tp just visit and vibe out on my hometown history.

Ate lunch at Pannie Georges restaurant here. Great menu of soul and comfort food. Loved the fried chicken and squash casserole . Lots of southern style vegetables and corn bread. Oh yeah.

I love the juicy, not greasy fried Chicken. The green beans and field peas are seasoned just right, not too salty. Yes the cornbread has a little sugar in it, but I like it that way. Capped off with some sweet tea in a brand new restaurant... Good proportions at a fair price and a friendly staff.
