Fun little place. Best for kids over 3 or 4. Price was a little on the high side. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms were clean. Didnt eat here but is has the typical menu and prices for this type of place.

Although their website, and the signs in the window and door stated they were open on Memorial day weekend, they were not. Thats a 53 mile trip each way. With little kids in the car on a hot and sunny day. NOT FUN

Great place for little ones through big kids. We took our son there starting around 2, and he climbed through everything. Reasonably priced, big but not too big. Batting cages next door are also really fun! Everything was clean and well taken care of the times we have been there. Their snack bar isnt anything to write home about, so I suggest planning to eat before or after a visit.

It was a great time. The staff were professional and tentative to our needs all with a friendly smile. The place was clean and the prices affordable. I will be coming back next time my nephews visit.

Very nice place, a lot of stuff in a small area, the ball and climb house is very big, able to climb around with your younger children. Arcade section is nice, a little congested too. Service help very friendly, but seemed short handed. Overall nice place.

The location and reviews online lead me to believe that this was a cute area to stop on a road trip to have a little fun and take a break. I was thoroughly disappointed. Of the 10+ arcade games, half weren’t working properly or at all. The rope course was pretty good and the rock wall wasn’t bad. But the laser tag wasn’t working while we were there, which was the primary reason we were visiting. We spent maybe 30 minutes and decided to leave.We talked to staff as we had trouble, one person refunded 1 game but the second person just shrugged their shoulders when we told them that another game broken after we swiped our card to play. When we finally decided to leave, it wasn’t a hard decision, one staffer told us they don’t do refunds except on their internal cards which is useless to me traveling through. I was finally able to talk to a manger who was able to refund my money, but not without some hassle.I wouldn’t spend the $24/person for wrist bands, or frankly take any detour to visit this place.

I always enjoy coming here. All 4 kids love coming here. I like how they give me a free wrist band to get in with the little guy. If youre looking to order pizza while youre there make sure you order Before youre hungry. They order out the pizza and have it delivered which usually tends to take a while. Fun for all ages!

I live within walking distance so this is a great place to take kids in any weather. Extremely friendly staff- snack bar and a clean environment makes this a perfect place to bring kids at any age.

Childrens safety is a big concern here. many of the safety bars have deteriorated and the cushion is now empty, leaving children vulnerable to injury. My daughter was simply running around and trying to climb over a triangular obstacle and hurt her knee bad enough that we had to go and get checked out. this place needs to be visited by an inspector for safety issues

Warm welcomed and nicely suprised at how clean and vibrant the place was. Not a crumb in sightPlace was a little bit expensive for the arcade games yes- but prizes were decent (unicorn goo 350 tickets and one game you can get an avg of 50 tickets a clip) and the side attractions like the rope and rock climbing was was extremely cheap! So it more than balances out.Id say a very fair price overallThey were relaxed and not on a power trip but still paying attention but at the same letting you have fun.This is very important for me.Only 2 games were not working at the time we went and honestly that is fine they had a nice selection of games including a live room lazer dodge gameI would def come here again and if you are an adult and looking at the ropes wondering if its childish. My fiance and I went on it and we were both thrilled. Doesnt look scary until your doing the course. Id say if your a kid its probably less scary as your smaller and not as wobbly and stil dont have the concept of why heights are scary10/10 will make a special trip to come back and we live 2 hours away!

Attended a walk in party and the staff and facility atmosphere was extremely professional! The games were amazing and the staff worked very well with the children, and they were more than accommodating! 100%would recommend Have A Hoot Family Fun Center for your child’s birthday!

My children loved it. Throwing the balls etc... was lots of fun ! The highlight was the rock climbing. Although there was an extremely big crowd and people getting nasty, Chelsea gave her smile to all the kids. And gave my children encouragement and time to climb up the rocks. The best place for kids!

My daughter loves this place!!! Its a bit of a hike but worth it. Just a few bucks to keep a toddler occupied indoors for a few hours! Staff is friendly. Only complaint is it looks like there was. Trampoline area at one point but its closed off...itd be awesome to get that fixed and reopened! But I wont shed a star for that...the place is great as is.

Had 2nd annual birthday party there today. Staff was Awesome! Extremely attentive and helpful. The kids LOVE having a birthday party there. A few minor issues. A: for being a relatively cool day outdoors ... It was VERY warm in the facility. I would ask if the AC is working before visiting. B: the Laser tag is Team only.. Wish we had known that going in....so we could for sides to make it more fun. *AC WAS working very well in laser tag area. Spent over 400 in one day there, so as much as we (actually, the kids) did enjoy I would expect at Least the climate control to be more suitable. Would we go back? The kids enjoyed it.. So most likely, Yes.

I have been wanting to bring my now 4 year old twins to Have a Hoot since they built the place! I do wish I had gone sooner, there are minor things that you could nit pick, but it is what you get with a place like this. The fact is that the Ballocity play are is the best one in the area! You can go there and let your kids get out all of their energy, which Im sure they all need to do. Im glad we have such a great play area to use for an affordable rate!

They seem to be falling off. Understaphed for sure. The games are all set on hard. You barely win any tickets on machines here, in other places where they have the same games are much easier to win. I guess that makes sense since theres barely any prices for the tickets you win anyway. They took the trampoline out, or it broke... hasnt been fixed in a while. I used to love this place, and visit frequently from NY, but my kids seem to be getting bored of it, and so am i.

We’ve been going there for a year now, my 2-3 yr old likes going there to play around and have fun. Hopefully the broken games gets fixed soon as the owner responded to other reviews! Clean place and friendly staff.

Used to love taking my kids to this place a few years back but prices have increased while it feels way more run down now. The trampoline has been out for over a year now and the arcade games are super overpriced when you compare them to round 1 in Middletown. The play area is still nice but I dont plan on going back near as often as i used to.

Visited Have a Hoot today and my toddler had a blast. Its large, clean and the staff member that greeted and took care of us was amazing. Im so glad we found another place to play and make memories at. Id suggest this location to anyone with a toddler!There is a lot to do here and will keep the, busy for hours. There is also pizza, hot dogs, pretzels and a Starbucks a coffee station. I mean what more could a mom ask for?Thanks for a great time!!!!!

Recently I had a walk in birthday party for my 9 year old the on a Friday night assuming it would be less busy than a weekend day. I called a week in advance to plan it with staff and to make sure I had mapped the party out. Our food was supposed to be there at 6pm before the kids would play as I figured it would be hard to get the kids out of the play area once they went in. Our pizza arrived an hour late which was awful bc we ended up needing more and if it was going to arrive late again it would be pointless. When I expressed the fact that I was upset to one of the 2 (yes only 2 employees were working that night of a scheduled party) workers there she laughed in my face as if I didnt have a reason to be upset that the food was an hour late and the wasnt enough for my party. I wanted to order more but the wrist bands are timed and if the pizza takes over an hour to arrive that wouldnt work. Previously they had pizza on site. Additionally thec trampoline was out of order which was the main reason my daughter loves it there & we were not informed of this and the website is not updated stating this. The registers were not working properly and they refused to give the children drinks until they could be paid for with a poorly functioning register. To go on I spoke with the manager and owner that night over the phone who was accusing me of calling her employee names which never happened. Im a 30 year old woman that holds a NYS license and that is not my character. I expressed my concerns with how she was speaking to me, how her employee laughed in my face after spending hundreds of dollars on a party & and questioned why only 2 young girls who may have been 18 were running a party and a business on their own on a Friday night with a party. Whoever I spoke with on the phone said her daughter had prom. Maybe we shouldnt have scheduled the party that day? Then to make things better they are applauding themselves on the FB page on how well they handled the matter. Never again.Id pay to sit down and watch the cameras with you. And clearly this demonstrates your professionalism at its finest. You werent there. I helped clean up after we werent even served the additional food you said youd provide. A $300 free party? 40 kids? Youd think youd be grateful as I had to pay at the door at arrival for everyone and not one other person was in your business at that time. And maybe 2 others strolled in that night. Again Id pay to hear and watch my actions that night. Take care.I see that you deleted your FB post and also the Google review you initially posted which blew tons of people away on FB groups that read it with how inappropriate you responded, but the fact of the matter remains that professionalism is lacking in this business and many others seem to have encountered similar experiences as well. You were accusing me from the moment you got on the phone and then made a joke of the situation on FB. I was willing to walk away silently. You refunded me for 2 pies. We asked for 10 orders of chicken with fries and since you have access to the cameras you can see that they brought them out maybe 1 or 2 orders at a time taking an hour to get a total of maybe 5 orders out. Of course we stayed additional time when we waited 2 hours at the least to feed our guests. Then you closed your business an hour before the time listed on your door, but it seems all the information listed is inaccurate. Posts regarding a 9 yr old birthday party being filmed without consent and posted on snapchat by your employees. Once again making the entire situation a joke. My guests were practically the only ppl who provided you business. Paying for additional game cards rock walls and laser tag. Post your film of me and my guests helping to clear the table where you claim I took my arm and brushed anything on the floor. You should be ashamed.

My 4 kids absolutely love this place! Its really affordable, and just the mention of have-a-hoot, gets beds made and rooms straightened up! Its an a awesome maze of climbing corridors with obstacle courses! An arcade throughout, and a climbing wall and climbing course! Workers were super friendly, and were great with the kids. I even saw older kids there too! So great to have an indoor area, where the kids can run out all the energy they can muster lol makes for a very quiet ride home :)

Drove an hour to go here cause we thought it was going to be fun. After buying deluxe band for all 6 of us, discovered that only 4 of us could do laser tag because the other vests were broken. My kids couldnt do the rock wall or the ropes course because of their age and the laser frenzy that we were told was included in the deluxe band, was actually not included and we would have to pay more money. The help was extremely friendly, but very inexperienced, considering the young girl running the laser tag had no idea how to set up teams, being it is my second hand and I am learning this on my own.

This place is a wonderful place to take the kids. They are very attentive and keep the place clean. Its a wonderful atmosphere for the family. The price is great and definitely well worth it! Id recommend going there to anyone!

Brought my family to this establishment for a fun afternoon . There was no organization or control the staff were too spread thin to there job properly some often on their cell phones . We waited 15 minutes to do the laser tag finally had to get staff and then they set us up with malfunctioning lasers and also left us there with no supervision to other kids in the event with us that were not my children nor to help remove the vests as the signs said staff were to do . There was no direction with the lazer frenzy and as we paid and tried to play kids ran in and out ruining our attempt to accomplish the game after 3 attempts we quit due to people just walking into it hitting the lasers . Over half of the arcade games were off Most games were 1.50 or 1.75 so when you got down to 1.00 you couldnt use your card you paid a dollar to purchase ? The ice cream bar only had a handful of flavors available and again there was absolutely no control or organization of the facility. After spending 100 dollars I will not be returning nor recommending this business ... Its really sad it had a great concept just not executed properly .

Super crowded at times and not good for younger or smaller children as they can get bullied on some of the equipment by older/bigger kids. It can get very pricey as well. The staff is nice and it is a good diversion.

Took my 10 and 2 year old on a Friday at 2:30pm and the place was empty. Both kids had a blast, its hard finding a place that both can participate in activities due to their age difference but they have plenty for each. The place was clean and the employees were helpful. I definitely recommend it!!

Ok where to start?!? My family of four thought this would be a good adventure on a Saturday afternoon since we live about an hour away. Boy were we wrong. Mass chaos of children with no supervision. There must have been no less that 150 people with only 4 staff members on duty. No one was attending any of the activities to help and supervise. The staff was terribly except the one young man who was very friendly and helpful. Roughly half of the games were broken and the place was super dirty. My two sons did have fun but were disappointed as well that most games were down. We had four arcade game cards and was so disappointed with the game selection we just left with 7.00 in credits left. So no we will never go back. Nor do we recommend this establishment.

My experience here was not that great due to an ac that was dripping water. They are under staff and in need of more help . They even had a big party to attend. No one to help at the Canteen stand.

This place is alot of fun for kids of all ages. Even as a parent you can have some fun too.

Half the things inside the ball arena do not work, the trampoline is blocked off due to having a HUGE hole in it. A waste of time and money... I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK!!

It was dirty, the workers were unpleasant (especially the manager), the prices were unreasonable, there is not enough sitting space, and laser tag wasnt working properly. I wouldnt go here again and would suggest to any mom looking to bring their kids somewhere good to bring them to the Castle instead. Even if its further, anything is better than Have a Hoot.

We arrived there one afternoon it took a little long for the staff to help us get in because the staff was to busy talking with its friend so after that we decided to get something to eat so we wanted to order pizza but they said they had to wait until it came in so that kind of made us a little mad then we wanted to do laser tag it took us for ever to get the staff attention the laser tag is actually a good deal of time the place is kind of dirty with dust it made me sneeze a little they should definitely clean the place.

Expensive, fun cards are useless, not cleaned too well by the tables. But in the end it is very fun for kids.

I dont understand the posts about not being clean. It was very clean. My children 9 and 3 had so much fun. We drove an hour and 10 minutes to get here and I would come again. The only thing I would have to say is negative is the games are expensive.

Took my daughters for the first time plus we live only 10 minutes away but never going back there again. The place was dirty really dirty both my kids got really sick and throwing up . I dont know if they ever sanitize there areas at all . I wish I would have read other reviews before going there this place is known to be nasty apparently. Its a shame because my kids actually had fun. Plus after reading the managements reply about them being American vetrans its just sad because I myself am a disabled army vetran . This place needs a old school tooth brush cleaning.

I took my granddaughter & niece here during the day. The place was filthy & when I showed the employee the cobwebs & thick dust she said they cant reach up there. The bathrooms smelled, no tissue or anywhere to hang coat in bathroom. The snack bar was out of items so we will not be going back. This place needs a major cleaning!
