A very good place to bring the family and to meet up with friends. Arcade games, snack bar, and sports bar for Adults. For the kids, they provide bumpers guards on the lanes and ball ramps so the kids can have great assisted games. For teens and adults they have the latest Pop & Rap music videos playing on all alley section screens so can get move to the beat and get your best bowling groove on! Overall, this nice bowling alley provides a great fun bowling atmosphere for everybody, youll want to return!

Always have a good time here. This time they saved my sons birthday when another facility let us down. We were able to get an open lane, play a couple of games and then head to the fun zone. The boys loved their laser tag games and the rest of us played skeeball and a variety of other games. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is good - especially the fries!

The atmosphere was great. The kids had a great time bowling and the staff here is amazing. Highly recommend a day with family or friends.

Prices are terrible. 60 dollars for two people for 2 hours!!!!! I love bowling but not for 60 dollars. Sorry.

Best bowling alley and arcade ever! They have a great atmosphere and their customer service is great! The food is also amazing! The employees there always want to make sure that you are having a great time. If you have a problem they help fix it! Definitely will be coming back. This is my new hangout spot with my friends!

Had a great time. Clean areas, bathroom clean, food was pretty good. The company I was with all enjoyed their drinks. The children enjoyed the arcade area. We all enjoyed the bowel. This was a very fun outing for adults and children.

Pretty clean place. I like going there because its always a lane available. The welcome wasnt all that great. We stood there for a minute or 2 at the front desk while 2 employees had a conversation without even saying telling us to hold on a moment. Not a big deal but I felt a little brushed off. The bar service was a little slow too. But the bowling was sweet.

I had a great time bowling and the kids enjoyed the games. We will be back.

Bowling was good. I was happy I bought a new ball . the store owner told me he couldnt drill the holes and he would do it next morning between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm I get there no lights on he never showed up .

Facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. Bowling, arcade, bumper cars, laser tag etc...plenty to keep all ages entertained.

Lanes need lots of mechanical care. Always breaking down. People are nice, but find it frustrating when the balls dont return, pins drop, gate sweeper gets stuck etc. Etc.

I had my 5 year old and 7 year old with me who i babysit and we were set up on a lane and everything. I went to ask for bumpers before we started Bowling and was told there’s no bumpers. I wish I was told This prior to buying my hour of bowling because I would not have bought an hour and wasted $46. I asked if I could just pay for one game and they told me there’s nothing they could do about it. I had my Kids mom called after waiting for 20 mins with no bumpers to be told by the guy that he knows four year olds who can bowl with no bumpers. How sad to hear that. They told us for our remaining time we can move to a lane with bumper. It was five minutes apparently left after waiting for so long for that to accommodate us. It’s a great place, but terrible costumer service.

We had a really good time here, though there was a slight wait on everything due to the fact that there was only one person working. The place was nice and clean, and I dont know much about bowling prices, but it seemed pretty fair. Really enjoyed it!

We had fun bowling but the main gentleman, Tim, was incredibly rude. He scoffed at me when I didnt understand how the pricing structure worked. We asked to play 2 games for our family of 4 and he only gave us 5 frames, went back up and asked for the full 10 frames but then we found out we had only paid for 1 full game. Dont think it should be this confusing to go bowling with your family and I certainly didnt expect to pay full price for my 2-year-old. We definitely will not be back. Not to mention it was incredibly hot inside the building.

The worst bowling alley Ive ever been to. And Ive been to many around the tri state area. Its freezing inside, the gutters REEK of mildew whenever the ball comes out. The shoes run way too big (I had to go down a size and a half, had to switch shoes multiple times). It looks like it hasnt been updated since the 80s and yet somehow its new?? Terribly overpriced for what it has to offer.

The kids loved the laser tag and bumper cars the best, but of course bowling and the arcade are always the main pull. We got a pizza while we were bowling and it was good, too. Even my 7 year old stopped bowling long enough to eat!

The manager ruined my girlfriend s birthday by providing terrible customer service. Paid for 6 people to bowl 1 game and had to get 2 lanes. With 2 adults on 1 lane and 4 kids on the other lane, kids wasnt allowed to finish their game due to adults completing early. Manager had a negative attitude and wouldnt allow the kids to finish. After we decided to leave, he tried to rectify by trying to restart the game but the scores were lost. By that time, the mood was ruined and it was too little, too late. Once again, thank you for ruining her celebration.

Called to get information spoke with a really nasty guy who instead of helping us was telling us they were going to close an hour early because no one was there! He was very rude! All we were trying to do was bring business guess they didn’t want any!

Called to see what the hours of operation was for the arcade earlier in the week and was told it was the same as the bowling alley. When I arrived during the week with my kids the arcade was closed. Kids were disappointed and staff look at me like I was crazy when I said I spoke to an employee who told me it was open. When asked asked what time and days they were open the two staff members times didn’t match but they eventually gave me the arcade winter hours. I was pretty annoyed but whatever.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I felt welcomed.

If you want to go some where to play games and laser tag as a group instead of with lots of other people, this is the place.We bowl and play laser tag quite often here. The bowling lanes are decent as are the games.

Had fun bowling on the leagues planning on going back the coaches are fun patience and terrific at what they do the bowling shop is amazing because the people who drill know what their doing it’s just a shame that they don’t post his hours

We enjoyed going here, but we were disappointed with management of the galaxy fun portion.

It is a decent place but our table want even cemented to the floor, it was also difficult to find a good size ball. But still had fun.

I think the pins were broken and my ball wasnt rou d and the shoes didnt work and the floors were put in upside down... how else could my 7 year old granddaughter beat me

Excellent place to go and have fun. Fun bowling and nice facilities and staff r very nice and helpful. If ur looking for something to do with the fam for a few hrs this is the place to go. Game Center is nice also, wide variety of games and stuff to do such as bumper cars and laser tag. Even a ball pit play area for kids.

I honestly don’t understand how this place is still running. The party hostesses run to get the kids dirty bowling shoes then get the kids food right after with no gloves to make their food without cleaning their hands. The staff working the counter in the bowling alley are rude. The snack bar takes too long to get everything out because they only have two people working. I doubt their kitchen is even up to health codes they need a new inspector looking. I went to the fun center and most the staff was friendly besides two of the lady’s. All the games are old and abused. The first time I came up to the register a lady by the name candy I think was supposed to be helping me at the counter and instead she was eating her food in the room they have in the back. Second time I came up she was on the phone. I asked one of the other employees to help and they said only she can touch the register when I asked why they said she’s the manager. What kind of manager sits around like that and does not have a person that can run the register if they won’t do it. Shout out to a few of the employees whom I didn’t learn their names for helping me. I’ll give another review today the day this all happened was the middle of January.

I use to enjoy coming here, but just visiting tonight has changed my mind. I rather drive to New Castle to Bowl a Rama or to Dover. I was told there is a 25-30 minute late but I dont understand how that can be with 15 lanes currently open.

Mid County Lanes located in Middletown, DE is worth checking out. The atmosphere is energetic and family friendly. I recommend that if youre taking young kids to the Family Fun Galaxy, use the side door, especially if its a weekend evening. The entrance is located next to the ice cream shop. This prevents having to walk through the bowling alley and bar area that may have adults enjoying an adult night out.

Went here for my brother and sisters BIRTHDAY. We did night blowing. It was fun,nice atmosphere. Good drinks, it was packed.

We visited the arcade area for a birthday and i was impressed with all the options for rides, activities, and games. Expensive for games but seems most places are now. Very freindly and helpful staff.

My children loved the mini family center. Ticket earned for prizes could be better, but hey they had a ball!

We had 3 lanes. One got stuck about a half dozen times. They seemed short staffed. In each instance it took close to 5 minutes to get someone to help resolve the issue with the lane. It was during a fundraiser that I planned so it was a little embarrassing.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back very soon. The staff was wonderful, the prices were reasonable for the bowling, food and beer. The food tasted great and for $150, we fed 5 people, had 4 beers, bowled for 2 hrs and tipped the staff. We will have to try the games next time! Thank you Mid County Lanes!

I took the kids to the Family Fun Galaxy within the bowling alley. It was our first time there and we werent sure what to expect. It didnt take long to make up our minds that we wanted to stay and play!They kids had a blast driving reckless in bumper cars, lighting up the wide selection of arcade games, getting on the Frog Hopper ride, in the ball pit, and of course, their favorite, laser tag!We ordered a $14 flavor-free pizza that I surely didnt write home about and ate at one of the large tables. The staff were friendly and helpful.Its worth checking it out. I know well definitely be back!

We always have a great time when we take our 7 year old son. Theres plenty of games and attractions; and its not ridiculously overpriced. Adults even have fun with some of the games

Very disrespectful staff, just straight up rude. Denied us 2 lanes, even though there was 4 lanes open next to one another and 9 open in total, and made us bowl on one lane. Actually had ignored the request for 2 lanes until we came back up, after realizing we were given one lane. Literally said because it was more convenient for them. Would have been able to bowl a lot more in the hour. They really care about their customers...not.

We arrived in a spur of the moment trip to be turned away from bowling due to it being a league night. All lanes were empty on our arrival, but we were told league members were due to be arriving. We were just looking to get our 3 and a half year old out of the house to burn some energy, so we decided to go with the arcade area instead. Not much there for my daughters age, but we bought a game card and wrist band for the ballocity anyway. We were told right away that there had been a loss of power recently to the games and if it happen again there would have to close and there would be no refund, but the balance on the card would not expire. The environment was dark, which is okay around the games, but I believe near the frog hopper and especially the ballocity in the evening hours there should be more lighting. My daywho usually enjoys these areas was scared to go into the dark area. Also, the ballocity should be included with a game card purchase given half the equipment doesn’t work and there are only a handful of worn out and torn balls. I definitely feel there is a need for some maintenance and upgrades. I shouldn’t feel ripped off going out to support a local business. The prizes you get for your tickets won were also cheap and poor quality considering the overpriced games at $1-$3 a piece.

Their policy on reserving lanes is silly. Arcade area has a pretty decent selection of games, but not very clean. Customer service is less than spectacular.

It was a good place to spend time with church youth. A fun time for everyone.

They were too crowded. I couldnt even get a lane on a Saturday evening. They were even snarkey with me when I went to the counter asking for a lane. They pointed to the ling waiting line, embarrassing me and my date. I will not return.

You can call ahead to find out what the wait is like.The décor is exactly what you expect for a bowling alley. Staff is friendly. Food, soda, bar, pro shop, arcade and indoor fun center are all on site.

Theres a lot of things for the kids to do there. I loved the arcade room and Im sure the kids did too. The staff was very friendly and super efficient!

Called ahead for good time to bowl, was told we were good to come with a group on Wed evening. Got there at 6 and was told it was league night, no lanes until 930. Waited until 945 to bowl while playing pool in their bar, was told mechanic went home and couldnt rent a lane. What a double dissapontment! Customer service and accurate info needs to become a priority.

The managers in the family fun galaxy need to be changed. Just saying it would be a great business move.

We started going to parties here and have had parties for our kids as well. Last year, our kids got bit by the bowling bug and joined the league. My wife and I were quick to start bowling and this summer enrolled in the summer family league. We have done a few tournaments. It truly is a great family place and the sport lends itself to being a family event. The kids league is on Saturday mornings and the coaches do a lot to help out. Each week the children win bowler of the week and are given prizes. Cant speak highly enough about the staff and how much they do to help boost the sport of bowling.

Went for a kids birthday party and the arcade was horrendous. At least 2/3 of the games were broken to the point of being unusable, but none of them were marked as out of order, so they would still take your money. I spun the jackpot on the wheel of Fortune game and no tickets came out. Most of the games use an electronic card payment system, but around 1/3 of the games inexplicably still use coins. There is no change machine to be found.On the plus side, the beer was cheap and tasted like the hoses were nice and clean. The kids seemed to have fun bowling.
