I took ballet lessons in the Sorg Mansion as a young girl. 1964-1971. Never afraid of the dark outside. Inside, the ballet studio was brightly lit and the music was alive. I cherished my experience there and how I would love to see the big ballet studio again.

I visited the Sorg Mansion Several years ago while riding the Great Miami River trail. It it a short 2 block ride from the trail. The architecture is very impressive. I just took pictures from the outside. It was pretty rundown at that time.

In 1888, Paul J. Sorg completed a $1 million, 35-room stone Romanesque mansion that still stands in Middletown, converted to apartments at one time the mansion is currently under restoration by Mark and Traci Barnett and being converted back to a single family residence.

This historical building is stunning. Has been in the area for many many many years. I remember it when I was just a lil guy. Beautiful, stunning and some even say its haunted. Stop by and check out this amazing historical structure.
