Well this was a pleasant surprise. Who knew that Middletown had an upscale restaurant with Middletown prices? They even offer live music on the weekends. We just loved this place. The owners came out and talked to us. The restaurant is called Vue 791 and it is located at the Forest Hills Country Club. You do NOT have to be a member to eat in the restaurant. We are not members (yet). The restaurant is Mediterranean themed with exotic favorites like baba ghanoush. Dont let that scare you off. There is plenty of Midwest normal food to eat. But on that topic you must have the baclava. If that sounds like scary foreign food, you are wrong. Just image a decadent cinnamon pastry filled with butter and the flavor of almond. It will make your toes tingle. This place definitely qualifies for Middletown Proud.

Great food, relaxing and romantic setting. Owners were very nice and attentive. Food was great. Highly recommend finishing with the Turkish coffee and baklava.

Very nice short 9 holes course, mainly par 3s but a couple of real par 4s. Course was in good condition today. A very walkable 9 holes.

I am forever grateful for Rania and Hatem From start to finish they were wonderful, and treated us like family! My husband, and I had our wedding, and reception here, and from the first meeting we had an exceptional experience. The food, set up, decorations, and service was beyond perfect, they did everything just as I wanted, and even more. My wedding day was made perfect, and thats in part due to the wonderful care that was taken by the awesome staff at Forest hills.

Had our wedding here, fair price, superb service, & excellent food! We enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts soo much we had the rehearsal dinner here as well, which the guests raved about & couldnt say enough positive things about! Rania, her husband & her staff were so helpful & kind I would recommend them for any event be it wedding, banquet, or whatever. Cant wait to return for anniversaries down the road!

We visited for a late dinner. Until a few days prior to our visit, I did not know this restaurant was here, and I am very happy to know now! I highly recommend the baba ganoush with falafel as an appetizer; the pita wedges are very fresh, as well. We had the beef kefta as an entree and it was delicious. I had the baked brie for dessert, which was just the right portion, and M. had the baklava. Excellent food at a great price. Im sure this was the first visit of many for us. Thank you to Dylan, who took excellent care of us!

Food is good, pool is great! Manager makes his rounds to make sure everyone is comfortable. Havent played golf yet but this place has been great. Daughters 6th birthday last weekend went great.

Specifically a review of Forest Hills restaurant Vue 791. Vue 791 is located at the golf course in a building renovated specifically for their restaurant. Open daily 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Reservations are requested but Im sure they would have no problem with walk-ins. We were greeted by one of the owners and seated in this new, clean and modern restaurant. Menu is a blended Mediterranean menu with sandwiches of Gyros, Hamburgers, falfel, and chicken. Dinner entrees include Lasagna, Kefta, potato & eggplant steaks, NY Strip, Haddock, Salmon and more. Salads are also available. We both had the Chicken Kefta served with rice and potatoes. I found the dish to be very good with just enough spice to be very tasty. The wife had Baked Brie for dessert but they also serve a Baileys float, baklava, and a rum berry trifle and they found some ice cream for me. This restaurant is a bit hidden but worth searching out. Prices are typical of a nice sit down but not excessive. Two dinners, soda and dessert cost us about $40. The two owners went out of their way to make sure we had a nice evening and our server was top notch.

We had our wedding here a few weekends ago and it was great! John and the staff were very friendly and great to work with. The price was very reasonable and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend them!

The maintenance crew does a phenomenal job. They are tireless and devoted! They keep it looking like a PGA course!

Nice course. Well maintained but its only 9 holes and not 18. They did a great job putting on a golf outing.

We were there about 25 minutes early. Jim Kraft, the pro, treated us very well. He explained how the front nine was played from the blue tees then the back nine was played from the white tees. The course is not in the greatest shape. It is in better shape than the last time I played it last year. It also needs markers for the 200 150 and 100 yd markers. Also the grass cutter machine is very very loud. When I was near it it was very hard to concentrate and focus on the golf game. Its hard for me to focus on my game anyway. But really there is nothing that will keep me away from playing again. I recommend it to anyone that likes golf
