It was fun, interesting, and I am sure if I had read more of the placards, it would have been very informative. Definitely a place to go and visit. The tour is at your own pace and it took us about an hour. Perfect for walking after a meal.The had some famous artist. The Picasso and Dali sketches were our favorites.

I really liked this museum. There is a lot to learn and there is a book section to chill and look at some books. There are two additional tours that you have to pay extra for but one of them that has different sex toys is very amusing. There is a student discount for the whole experience for $20 which is really worth it.

Its a very cool place to spend an hour or two if you are on south beach. I enjoyed all the pieces they had there. The only reason I did not give it a full five stars was because of the building and layout of the museum. It is an old and unkempt building and the rooms are too sparce. I felt like this could have been condensed down into a more manageable and much more easily navigable layout.

Visited this museum during a rainy day with my wife on our honeymoon. It was wonderful! Definitely recommend & covid-safe activity.

Super fun for a honeymoon stop. I thought the price was a little steep but we really got to see a lot and really enjoyed ourselves. Also there was some kind of private party with a woman talking about exploration of all things sex and it was lovely to see and hear the openness.

It’s quite shocking that there’s this type of exhibition exist. But it’s surprisingly great collection and perspectives to see the erotic arts around the world. It’s probably around and hour of contents for WEAM, or slightly more if you wanna check out the other two person’s arts.

We visited the place in December and we had so much fun looking into the exhibit, they dont really have a docent, you just roam around on your own looking through the exhibit - but the person working there Jonathan (Im not 100% sure if that was his name, its 4months ago, I apologize) was so great and gave us a great tour of the whole place. It became more personal and really got us to know more about the exhibit instead of just passing by and reading the descriptions. Overall we had an incredible time, we will definitely recommend it to friends visiting the area.

Super interesting place. Definitely worth a visit even if to just get a break from the heat. Lots of interesting exhibits. Got be honest we got a lotta chuckles but thats half the appeal. Dont underestimate this little gem in South Beach go visit it.

This is definitely an interesting and evocative way to spend an afternoon especially with a lover. But dont do what I did and pay $30 for all three exhibits unless you are a Rolling stone super fan. $15 gets you the enormous primary exhibit, the other $15 gets you another small exhibit on basically what was already covered, and an unrelated exhibit of a famous photographers informal session with the Rolling Stones when they first came to the US

Its awesome anyways, but you may not be able to suppress the giggles (or in some cases gasps of disgust) if youre not quite comfortable talking about sex. But you should challenge yourself, and enjoy the history and humanity of this museum!

While we were in South Beach we discovered this wonderful Museum. It was very interesting to see how this subject spans the entire globe and the centuries. I would encourage anyone to stop by the Museum when in South Beach. Learn and take an interest in what comes naturally to us all.

Great Exhibit. Had tons of fun. I went just before my flight out of town. It was supposed to be a quick stop, but I took the time to see everything.

I gave it 4 because i went with my father (wanted to go alone) so i kind of had to rush because it was awkward. I went to the opening. The setup was nice and categorized. i like that they had a video of collector speaking of her passion. I unfortunately didnt get to watch it. If i can go by myself next time then I might give it a 5.

The overall exposure is great. Just as it says in the entrance, do not take children! If you have allergy to mold, or dust, I recommend visiting the exhibition with a mask, there things are closed and the smell is very strong. The relics are in great quantity and great quality as well. I loved having visited and I think people should know. I recommend, after the exhibition, to talk to the man at the entrance!

Amazing variety of art from around parts of the world

Found out about this museum online and I’m so happy that I was able to visit this great collection of art. Admission is only $20 ($18 if you’re a student) the museum was very large and filled with so many different photos, paintings, artifacts, and sculptures. If you’re into art or just want to check out something cool I definitely recommend checking out the museum.

This is such an interesting museum! Im not sure what I was expecting but it totally beat everything I was expecting. If you are looking for something different to experience while in Miami, I really suggest this place! You need to be over 18 years old. The museum is upstairs and is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Not for someone who gets easily embarrassed by body parts. Some of the pieces date back centuries!! Not dirty or porn related, everything is tasteful and artful. I highly recommend!

It was the first time I have visited such place. And I must admit that this place is everything but boring. There are a lot of interesting and outstanding showpieces some of them are from 19th century. The exhibition is very provocative but I liked it.

I paid $30 for the all-inclusive tour and was left severely disappointed. The photos in the Google Maps reviews do not reflect the works currently in the museum. In fact, there are barely any works in the museum. Once I stumbled my way around the maze on the 2nd floor (there were no brochures--youre told to take a photo of the laminated map they have), I spent around 15 minutes trying to search for the rest of the museum. Once I finally arrived, it was one floor of a combination of household items and non-historical sex objects that I could have seen for free in a sex shop. Maybe this museum was once worthwhile, but it is no longer. I do not recommend anyone go there.

Its a unique experience for all Adults and definitly worth a go. It encompasses art pieces and statues from all over the worlds cultures. Student discounts are available and you get free postcard if you check in on Yelp.

Went here a few years ago and it was 5 stars. Now a lot has changed and not for the better. There used to be a gift shop which is now gone. There used to be a LOT more items. The iconic four poster bed and throne are both gone. Many of the displays are unlit. Many items are not properly displayed. Artwork is dusty and not attended to.

As a Miami native I love that this place is a hidden and fascinating gem. Cultures from around the world are represented. Eastern, western, every continent is where you can look. There is information about all kinds of sexual preference and proclivities. A beautiful display. So much more than what anyone can think. Special rates for students and even teachers if you ask. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking can be hard to find and a bit expensive but it is worth the trip.

Weird little museum dedicated to the erotic art in all shapes and forms. It was nice to have a look and see all the weird statues and things they had here. Nothing too special, but worth a stop for a look.

It wasn’t what I expected. This place is more like a showroom than an actual upscale museum. The tour around the museum took less than 10 min. The entrance fee is $20 which in my opinion it doesn’t match the experience paid for.

To enjoy this place, youll need a good sense of humor, some curiosity, and a few bucks. If youre in the area, you should give it a few minutes of your day. Even if you stop and look at every exhibit, it should take no more than 35 - 45 minutes.Worth it

Its not a gallery of pornographic images. This museum is an homage to how eroticism influences many different styles of art on a panoply of levels. A few of the surprising things they have are: figurines and boxes with secrets, a room of fertility gods, beautifully carved furnishings and books that have hidden images which reveal themselves when the edges of the page are aligned properly. It is most highly recommend for those love to learn about the risque.

Such a great museum and collection of the erotic. I would have loved a bit more information and education about some of the pieces/artists, but, still its so great to see such a vibrant collection.

A very interesting and unique museum about a topic that you wont really find anywhere else. They certainly have a large collection of erotic art and historical artifacts here that will certainly catch anybodys attention. The museum is rather small and will take roughly an hour to finish so its not a whole day affair. My one concern is the rather high entry fee of $20 but it is Miami Beach so its to be expected I suppose. This is definitely worth a visit especially for couples.

What we thought would be a fun unique experience for a bachelorette night for our girls turned into a nightmare. The staff is extremely rude and incompetent. Its sketchy and not worth $1 or your experience to go wrong dealing with these people. Either something sketchy is going on there or they just dont know how to properly welcome business or visitors. I was extremely shocked on how its run. They dont return emails, they dont answer the phones, and theres no care into their venue. We will never be returning.

Visited during construction so areas were closed. Unfortunately, in addition to that, there were significant issues with lighting - some rooms werent lit, and some display cases werent either, making it hard to see and enjoy.This is much more a gallery than a museum - there are very few details about the works, but plenty of intriguing items.

Well it is what it says on the tin, the hardest thing about the museum is navigation. You dont get a map so I kind of just wonder through a maze until you are sure you have seen everything
