Visited two different Michaels today and both were very pleasant to deal with. This store was also well stocked with a plentiful variation of inventory. The staff out on the floor to help with any assistance needed by the consumer. Huge props to Michaels. Definitely recommend this store as well for your craft needs!

Dropped in to look at the Christmas stock. Very nice wreaths, ribbon, mesh, ornaments, garlands, crafting supplies, artificial trees, and more. Very nice array of colors, styles, and variety.

A large inventory of products. Right now, there is on display, seasonal (Harvest and Christmas) flora, as well as traditional flora. Sales to take advantage of. Custom picture framing. Social distancing shopping.

The employee in Frames was very friendly and even complimented my purse and billfold. (We are both Dr. Who fans) I will definitely return to this location. Exceptional service.

They keep a nice stock of different craft items, though finding a staff member to help you can be difficult. My advice, use their app if youre trying to find what aisle something is on. Otherwise you may be standing around a while, waiting for someone to help you.

The people in the store were very nice, both the workers and the customers. Even though I must admit the prices do add up, the store is very aesthetically and I would like to become a regular customer.

I love Michaels. Lots of stuff for crafting. I have been painting for awhile, but am spreading out my crafting wings to include other things for some time. They have plenty to choose from, and staff that is friendly enough.

They had a lot of stuff. I wanted to linger longer and see more, but my husband was with me. I bought a flower pot for graveside and a Mason jar top that holds up a few single flowers which I love already. It looks cute on my kitchen window sill.

Generally Michaels is great, but during the holidays, they need more floorstaff to help shoppers select presents. I helped two dads select art supplies for their kids, and I was just there to buy watercolor paper!

People here are kind and attentive. I come here alot for my crafting needs

Drove from Baton Rouge, LA to Metairie, LA (1 hour 15 minutes one way) to attend a cookie decorating class offered by Michaels (i.e., Kim’s Cookie Decorating) at 8851 Veterans Avenue. The store is managed by Melissa. This was a class that was prepaid for granddaughter and I several weeks ago. Arrived 20 minutes before the 4:00 p.m. start time and informed by Melissa decorating classes were not held there. We should go to the 3526 Veterans location (20 minutes away). That location was not the appropriate location. However, staffers were kind enough to review class schedule on Michael’s website. Sent back to the first location where I was again told by Melissa there were no classes and if I had an issue to contact the corporate office “at the 1-800 number”. Even though Michael’s advertised the classes on their website, processed payment on their website and allowed the class to be conducted on their property, management declared no responsibility. As instructed, I called the 1-800 number while in the store. I was on the phone with a total of 3 Michael’s representatives for a total of 83 minutes 20 seconds. This first representative (Cara) tried to help. However, after 39 minutes we were disconnected. I was reconnected with Jessica (ext. 2327) and Lindsey (ext. 7115) who stated they were de-escalation specialist. Ultimately, we left the store without a refund or any other form of renumeration for this fiasco. Moreover, Jessica and Lindsey did not disconnect properly and I have 10 minutes of recorded conversation where Jessica, Lindsey and Melissa are on a three-way call making highly disparaging remarks, making very clear that although Michael’s may promote a customer satisfaction tenet; their employees clearly do not subscribe to this philosophy. When asked for contact information for regional manager was given the name Michael O’Neal (by Jessica) but corporate policy prohibited giving contact information. If I could give zero stars – I would. I would suggest that anyone considering attending a class here, particularly the cookie decorating class, not waste their valuable time and hard-earned money. The class will not be held, the store will not be able to assist, you will have to deal with incompetent and unprofessional staff representing the store and corporation; and will have wasted multiple hours out of your day for nothing. And let’s not forget -- you will have to contact your credit card company to file for a reversal of charge. TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE HASSEL!!

Kid-friendly store with good choice of toys and candy. They offer good coupons, last time it was up to 40 percent off for one item. Finally and most importantly, they have very friendly staff.

This is a craft center that is over stuffed with items. Located in an odd shopping mall. I dont foresee this craft store open much longer due to everyone I know complaining about it.

Good selection, if slightly difficult to navigate

I love Michaels. I can find anything that I may need when Im working on a project or if I just want to do some artsy creative stuff. The staff is really professional and polite. They always make sure that your shopping experience is great. If you cant find something they will try their best to help you and see if its available in the back. If it isnt they will even go online to order it and have it delivered to the store for you.

Dont worry if the checkout lines are long because they always move pretty quick. Cashiers are always friendly and helpful. On my last visit I was using a coupon that wasnt for use until the next day so she found one I could use right then and there. A plus in my book.

I ordered a Mexican Pizza. Everytime I always order chopped heavy onion on the top and in the middle because its a two layer small crunchy pizza. They gave me exactly what I ordered. And it was deeelicious. It has tomato sauce slightly spicy, fresh chopped onions & tomatoes, lots of different cheeses & lots of ground spicy beef. Not too spicy. Just perfect. Its the best thing they serve. It keeps me going back again and again.

Kimberly the manager on duty was one of the finest retail managers Ive encountered for far too long. A time. She assisted myself and the very kind woman behind the counter handling my particular return order. My needs were particularly challenging, I had to make returns for canvases, paints, and paintbrushes. She did all that she could that fell within The limitations of her corporate responsibilities. In other words, she exhibited unwavering professionalism; simultaneously representing her company while being an advocate for my needs. On top of all this; she runs quite a tight ship. With a team of very talented employees. When I arrived there was a line of customers that stretched 20 - 30 feet back towards the rear of the store. I was blown away at how quickly these customers were taking care of. It seems like within minutes I was one of the last individuals requiring attention from the staff. All in all I had an incredibly positive experience. And will continue to make my regular art supply purchases at this location exclusively.

I here about two or three times a year, mostly when my son needs parts for his Pinewood Derby car. The staff is helpful when you can find them and the line to check out is always long. It’s also is a great place to find frames for photos or diplomas.

This store is run great, always clean and efficient. They usually have good prices on canvases.

I placed an online order to pick up in store, after 7pm. Normally that means it wont be ready til the following day but I got an email less than 30 mins later saying it was ready! Awesome job guys! Only thing wrong was the craft foam I ordered didnt say anywhere on the website that it was adhesive backed...I need no adhesive for my project.

This is a smaller store but they have a good selection of knitting supplies, beads, baskets and other art supplies. The staff is pretty friendly but its hard to find someone to help you. Parking is in the lot outside, which is a plus.
