Great performance of Peter and the Wolf! My children and I attended along with other members of our homeschool group. I really enjoyed the way the conductor introduced each instrument and the performance was very kid friendly. Great way to introduce kids to the symphony. We were directed to sit up front, which frankly was way too close for my comfort, but it was very interesting to see the instruments a bit closer.
Saw our high schools Christmas extravaganza here. Acoustics were great. Staff was pleasant and helpful. They even had a good alarm go off mid-performance, the theater had to empty, and everyone stayed in good spirits to get back in and continue the show. Nice place!
This is a very comfortable, very beautiful, friendly and helpful staffed center. If you have the opportunity to go and the special chance to see a band named Simply Three you could not ask for a better time. Look into both, experience both and youll have a time youll never forget.
This was the first time we attended a venue at Ikeda Theater! Sound quality and seating was fabulous! We saw the Hendrix Experience 2019 tour, with multiple performers. After 5 pm, parking cost 5 bucks. No complaints! Would definitely attend another venue here!
If you like an up-close-and-personal experience when you see a concert or performance, this is the place to go. It only has 1,600 seats, and the parking garage right next to the theater makes it super easy to get in and out compared to wandering around hunting for a parking spot elsewhere. Both shows we saw in the last couple of weeks had adult beverages and memorabilia for sale if desired. The acoustics here are phenomenal - we saw one show that was all about the vocalist, another show that was much more about the guitar and fast, hard drumming, and both sounded amazing here. Its also great that this is a nice, small venue so that every seat has a good view of whats happening on the stage. If youre a fan of a more personal experience rather than being among the masses, this is the place to go.
A fantastic place to see a concert. The acoustics are extraordinary. We went to see Bela Fleck, and also Dream Theater in recent days. Very wonderful staff that accommodate you over and above what you need. You can get snacks, beer. Highly recommend this venue to see your favorite artists.
I am temporarily disabled from a fall. The volunteers arranged to meet me at the curb and got me to a wheel chair friendly location. I was able to see my son perform Carmen as a violist for the Youth Symphony of the Southwest. A dream come true. I plan on paying them in volunteer services in the future. This is a wonderfully run entertainment location and gets my first choice for ANY LIVE PERFORMANCE.
Beautiful theater with great acoustics. My only complaint is the lower hallways did not have enough workers to direct people were to go. Many people were frustrated with it. Once we got to correct door it was fine. Saw Mannheim Steamroller there. It was fabulous.
Lovely venue. Be careful for the gap between rows. Your foot can slip through. Pay attention because the rest of the place is fantastic.
Comfortable seats with a variety of levels. Despite seating chart indicating since seats may have limited visibility, Im not sure there really is a bad seat in the house.
We experienced the So You Think You Can Dance tour at the Ikeda Theater. We have been to other shows here, so we knew that Ikedas sound and lights are great. Weve always enjoyed the friendly group that works there.
Beautiful facility! A little short on parking but places around where you can park. We enjoyed a really great afternoon concert.
Stunning theater, I enjoyed the performance, acoustics were excellent and parking is available closeby for free. Very enjoyable experience.
The venue was great. Parking was a joke and difficult to find. Layout to actually get to the theatre was confusing. End result was a wonderful performance.
The Ikeda Theater is an absolute musical gem-star provided my the City of Mesa! One the most profound music halls that can be experienced within the boundaries of Arizona, no doubt! If you are not on the email roster of Mesa Arts Center, ... well now, whats the hold up? Get on, and experience live music at its best!
Wonderful place for a Symphony performance. Would give it five stars if they didnt continuously seat patrons during the performance. Tell them to show up on time or wait until intermission... Very distracting!
Went to see the youth symphony. They were marvelous. Had a great time.
Loved this theater and it seems that every seat has a great view of the stage. Beautiful!
This is a very nice theater. Have been here for a few concerts and comedy shows and always enjoyed the service and atmosphere.
Attended Shen Yun Performance there. 1st time there and enjoyed every minute. Theater is layed our sensibly and easy to get around. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional.
I love coming to shows at the IKEA Theater. The seating is so amazing, there are no bad seats, love it
We had a great time at the Dennis DeYoung concert! He still has some great pipes and moves! 72 years young and married for 50 years! WOW, thats awesome!
The Itzhak Perlman concert was one of the best concerts I have been to. The parking sucks, someone should have closed the parking structure, everyone going around in circles looking for non existing spots.
Nice venue for spoken word, and music based shows. Comfortable seating and attractive architecture.
Beautiful theatre. Acoustically superb with comfortable seating. Just a really nice venue.
Two of the best shows we have ever seen happened here.
Easy access in and out the theatre. No matter where you sit, you have a good view of stage and the sound system is good.
This theatre is a gem. Ive been there for a variety of events and the sound was fantastic. There isnt a bad seat in the house. Arrive early though, security screening could delay entry to the venue.
Very modern theater. Great comfortable seats. My family loved the show we saw here.
Saw the new production of The Lamb of God composed by Rob Gardner. It was awesome! We traveled here from Salt Lake City to participate in this Easter extravaganza. We enjoyed the excellent facilities of the Ikeda Theatre. This is the first time we have attended any event at this beautiful facility. No disappointment, except for a couple oversites by the audio techies. But they were forgivable.
Great hall. Ive both performed and attended performances in this hall. Good acoustics and also amplified sound. The outside hallways are not set up well for all the foot traffic after shows but even the best venues have issues.
This theater was a great venue for Shen Yun!
I really like this venue...the one negative I would note is cramped seating for anyone taller than 510. Im 61 and my knees were up against the partition in front of me. Had to leave the show early because it was so uncomfortable.
Handicap accessible seating is not so accessible. Long long walk from the parking lot, I was work out by the time I got to my seats. Wasnt impressed.Beth Hart and Kenny Wayne Sheppard brought down the house though.
Easy access, great staff and customer service. Need another concession bar!
Not a bad seat in the house. Great sound and acoustics
Saw Alvin Ailey Dance Troupe perform. Magnifico! Photo was before curtain. No photos allowed after that.
I would give this place 10 stars. The staff were beyond words and I would recomend this to anyone attending this establishment.
The theater itself Youas great along with the experience. The parking left something to be desired though. Very poor lighting. (Plus road work, but thats a different story!)
Very enjoyable concert, the Roy Orbison/ Buddy Holly hologram concert. The theater needs more elevators, but an excellent venue.
Great acoustics. 3 levels, all price ranges. Wet bar.
One of the finest venues we have every seen a concert at. There is not a bad seat or view anywhere in the IKEA Theater. We greatly enjoyed the wonderful show Paul Anka put on.
Very clean and up kept facilities. Modern decor. Provides ample space for your concert or entertainment needs. Arrive early for good parking, or take advantage of the city parking after hours.
Great venue! Comfortable seats! Good acoustics!
Wonderful facility. Perlman was outstanding....
Beautiful theater. Sound is amazing. Love this place.
We watched the MCO (Millennial Choir and Orchestra) concert. It was a wonderful performance and the sound in the theater was great. It really felt like we were surrounded by angels. Also, we were off to the side a little bit but we could still see the whole stage perfectly.
Saw a show called Stomp. Had great seats. The concessions offered nice snacks and sandwiches and good mixed drinks. Stomp was fantastic. Would definitely go back in the future.
Great venue. Excellent sound. Tower of Power killin it right now.
Very nice venue - parking isnt that great
Saw Dave Koz Christmas show! Excellent venue great crowd.
Our seats were at the top level, and there is a railing in front of each row up there. Im 57 and the bar was right across my line of sight. My 64husband had no problem. I was fine if I had to slide down in my seat to see.
Nice theater, very clean & well kept with plenty of assistance.
Really cool place., several theaters, easy to access, lovely grounds, clean and friendly
Amazing theatre & best seat layout.
Great venue to watch concerts. Very nice and helpful staff and great views from anywhere you sit. The sound is solid and the comfort is what you want when you go to enjoy your favorite artists.
What a great Theatre. I love the atmosphere. The Sound and Lighting are great. The seats are very comfortable I didnt see any blind spots in the hole theater.
It was a lovely theater. The employees were professional and friendly. It was a pleasant experience overall in the Mesa Arts environment. If you havent spent time in that area, youll want to make sure to look around and see the many statues Mesa has placed in the blocks of the downtown arts district. Theyre amazing.
Beautiful theater, great sound, comfortable seats, reasonably priced refreshments, and oh yeah, Tower of Power! Possibly the best high-performance band on the planet!
Such an beautiful theater and the experience is always top notch
Shen Yun was amazing!
Mesa Arts Center pits on great shows and performing there is a good time. The ushers and staff are super nice and the campus is beautiful. Great photo location

Great sound! Honestly, no bad seats here
Excellent venue, beautiful and spacious, perfect acoustics. Even the cheap seats, 2 balconies up, were great. Im keeping an eye on this concert calendar!

The theater is well kept and many helpful employees.
Big, beautiful, wonderful. Did not order there.
Seats were uncomfortable and not st all in the format the seating choice map illustrated .People.nezt to us agreed the seat map did NOT match the actual.venue we.left at intermission .probanly wont use that venue again
Wonderful amazing Millennial Choir and Orchestra concert!
This is a very nice venue. Great acoustics and comfortable seating make it enjoyable for any type of event. A glass of wine and friendly attendants ensure a good time.
Very friendly staff. Lovely facility. Sounded great.
