This is a the first time at this escape room. Everyone in my party have done several escape rooms. First of, it was not set correctly, we were able to get into a locked drawer that was supposed to be open at a later point. Then, there was a puzzle that involved smelling scents. This is NOT a good idea during COVID. Who knows who put their noses to it last and how well it was cleaned. The items were made of fabric. When we brought up our concerns, we got blank stares and an annoyed look. I probably will not be spending more money here.

So much fun but it is difficult for only 2 person, I wanna go again Fun!

Went here as a family day with 3 generations of an extremely competitive family.. We did the mad hatter one,, had lots of fun and made it out in time

Challenging puzzles..but very do-able. We had 8 in our group, including a 5 yr old and a 9 yr old and 2 others that had never done an escape room. Made it out with 1 minute to spare and used 2 clues in total. Not overly elaborate or back story based as other rooms, but still fun. Probably more like a 3.5 .

Very friendly and laid back staff. Fun work team building event. Building a little difficult to locate so plan to leave extra time to find. Highly recommend and want to go back! Did Quest for the throne and want to do Blaines Basement.

We had a wonderful experience! Mason greeted us when we walked in the door and was very warm and welcoming. Then, he gave us a brief but very informative explanation about some important things we needed to know prior to going in the room. We ended up doing “The Condo” escape room which was super fun! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

I have done about 6 escape rooms total ( 3 at this location) and so far Blaines Basement has been my favorite! We loved the creepy atmosphere that really helped set the mood of the game. It really sets up a good narrative to try to get out before Blaine returns. It was like a combo escape room plus haunted house. Some clues were tough but we could appreciate the sophistication of them once we figured them out ( or got a few hints :) ) I cant wait to go back and try the new room , Bake Off. Have never been disappointed with this company

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Quest for the Throne room. It was a family night out of 8 and Everyone was able to contribute. We did use our 3 clues and made it out with a few minutes to spare. We want to thank Megan for being our host and helping us through the game! We will definitely be coming back for another room!

Nice, low cost, very fun room and challenging but doable. The employee (I wanna say Tim) Was very informative and sweet. My group had a lot of fun. Didnt allow pictures in the rooms but, we got some in the lobby.

I came in from out of town for a wedding, and had to plan a bachelor party. This was one of our stops for the night, so I called them and booked the room on their website. There was a lot going on, and we found out when we arrived that I had accidentally booked it for a week out instead of that night. They were happy to move my reservation with absolutely no fuss, which was a godsend on such an important day. The room was super interesting and fun, and the entire staff was courteous, engaged and respectful.

This was so much fun! We reserved a private room so we all knew each other. They have a variety if difficulty levels and are adding on to the facility. They offered a free souvenir photo at the end with a fun background and props, too. We will go back for sure!

We did The Condo room. It was really fun and challenging. Only issue would be hearing people in the other rooms, and getting distracted. Would go again.

Had a great time! Been here once before and came again for my sisters 21st birthday. We did Blaines Basement. Super fun and very hilarious if you go with that friend who scares easily. The staff are super friendly and do a great job to ensure you have a good time. Highly recommend. Also, they have really great Groupon deals. Check it out!

I loved going here with my friends. The staff member helping us was very nice and answered all of the question we had without spoiling anything. I did the escape room called The Condo and I thought the storyline was excellent. I recommend doing this one because it is fun for any age and nothing is too complicated. This was super fun and I will for sure come back.

Last time an employs left a one star review for mistreatment by manager she had gotten the police (leaving a two star so I wont have the save fate) called so he is another ex employee saying that the rooms are fun but the the workers get thrown under the bus. Id recommend spending your money at any other escape rooms in mesa az

SO MANY LOCKS! I mean really, you couldnt get more creative? It was fun, but I got tired of the coded locks and key locks and numerical locks. I think we had to open like 15 of them. Of course locks have their place in an escape room, but holy cannoli this was ridiculous.

My friends and I had a super fun time at Escape Games! We chose to do “Blaine’s Basement”, which was super creepy and awesome. The theme is great, the storyline is great, the decor is great, etc. Tricky and scary and exhilarating all at the same time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good way to spend an hour with some friends. Also, reasonably priced for the experience you get. However, I would suggest going with people you know. My friends and I were put with another group of young girls, and we would have gotten out if we were paired with older, wiser participants (rip) that had helped contribute more, as the difficulty is pretty intense. Staff was super nice too, considering we were a little late.

Blaines basement was booked for my birthday. When we booked we were alone. When we arrived we were told wed be joined by two new hires, a friend of theirs, and a solo player. No big deal. Weve played hundreds of rooms and get along with others. The solo player was a red flag from the minute he stepped into the lobby. He was drunk, smelled of alchohol, and carrying two big gulps (which he was allowed to bring in the room!?) We were made to lock up our phones and our watches but he was allowed to not only bring his phone into the room but use it without any intervention from the GM. He was loud and obnoctious and wouldnt let anyone talk. Worst of all... I messaged the company two days later and heard nothing back from them. Happy Birthday to me! UGHUPDATE: I received an email yesterday (2 months later) full of excuses as to why the owner was unaware of this situation for months. He did offer a free room which I refused. He then became defensive as if I did something wrong. How do you not look at your online reputation for months as a business owner? Not to mention I emailed the company itself days before posting this review. Enthusiasts beware.

Ive been to a couple of room escape games and this ones well done. The staff is exceptional. Theyre friendly and explain things thoroughly. Theres no pressure and theyre more than happy to accommodate an extra player that we had added to our group at the last minute.And like most other places they do provide three Clues but you do have an option of asking for additional Clues with no additional time penalty or cost. The room we did, the Quest for the throne, was well thought out and the room itself was wall decorated. Its clear that their goal is to make sure their guests have fun. They do not try to nickel-and-dime you in any way.I definitely recommend you check this place out. The only problem I had was finding this place which was a little bit in the corner of the complex. I would recommend you look at a map so you know where the front door is before you arrive. Parking was pretty easy. Definitely coming back in the future. Thanks again.Oh yes, we did manage to escape!!

This place is awesome! I have been here two times and both times I have wanted to come back and do more rooms! I love how their rooms lead to other rooms (the 2 I have done have had secret passageways). We also got a smoking deal when we called and asked about a discount, it was a better deal than the groupon. I also love how much the staff love their jobs and get into character to help you get into character for the room! This is my favorite escape the room location! (I went to another one with some co-workers and it was not very good for the price).The only complaint that I have is that they need more rooms so that we can keep coming back!

We did the Medieval themed room and it was a ton of fun. We ended up needing to use 4 clue hints as we missed a couple clues hidden in the room. In the end we barely made it out with a minute and a half to spare. Wracked our brains but everything was right in front of your face after you figured it out. Went with my in-laws to celebrate fathers day but now the wife and I are planning to come back soon for her birthday. Id highly recommend it if you are the sort to enjoy a good puzzle or challenge.

First time ever doing an escape the room and it was amazing. Went with some of my family that was in town and we had a blast. It was a great way to enjoy family bonding while staying cool in the Az summer! Will definitely be going back to try the other rooms.

Blaines basement is incredible. We went around Halloween and were legit scared. We had 7 people but we didnt make it out in time. Its hands down my favorite escape room.

Blaines Basement was challenging but so much fun! Great team building activity. I dont want to spoil it for anyone, but this room is actually down in a basement and it set the bar really high for escape the room type games!! It makes other ones weve tried at other companies seem kind of boring. Also, staff was really friendly and helpful when we needed clues!

This was a blast. We did the medieval room. I loved the elaborate puzzles and the variety of challenges. Great for a group date. The staff were helpful and attentive. I could tell they were watching and paying attention to our progress, because they were ready with a clue as soon as we needed it. When we finally escaped it truly felt like an accomplishment! I would definitely come here again. Looking forward to more rooms opening up in the future.

We took the family and joined a couple in Qwest for the Throne. We had a blast and got 2 clues away from finishing. Andrea was great and the puzzles were fun and varied. The whole family had fun!

This place was awesome! The room was really fun and very well done. My wife and I have been to a few different escape rooms, and this one really stands out. All of the staff are extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend.

There was black mold here at one point when I went?? Poorly managed. Go to the other escape games.

We showed up and no one came to let us in! We waited for at least 30 minutes before we decided to leave way to ruin a night!

This was my 3rd Escape room experience, each at a different place. Escape Games Arizona did a superior job with their customer service and instruction. The room provided a nice level of difficulty without requiring us to ask for too many clues. On the other hand, maybe our egos got in the way and we should have asked for a few more clues, as we were on the brink of finishing when time ran out.As a good escape room should, The room flowed from puzzle to puzzle sequencing well and steering you toward the next puzzle to be solved.I look forward to visiting Escape Games AZ in the future to try our hand at completing their other room. Which I understand is one of the best around.

I called another place and got a voicemail directing me to the website. I called this place and the owner himself picked up the phone and helped me find a slot that would accommodate my family. In the past year, I have tried all of the escape rooms offered by Escape Games AZ and all of my experiences have been fantastic. The staff is dedicated and courteous, and each room has been filled with unique and challenging puzzles. The different rooms are immersive, thematic, and story-based, and I have found the progression through the puzzles to be logical, sequential and rational. You are never required to know outside information, and youre never dumped with useless or extraneous clues that throw you off track. I highly recommend giving this escape experience a try if youve never been here. You can conveniently book online and theres often booking discounts available through Groupon.

Do. Blaines. Basement. Best. Escape. Room. EVER!!!!!Listen, Ive done almost a dozen escape rooms. Maybe Im an addict, dont judge me. I find escape rooms super cool, but today....well, today we went to a whole new level!!First, we called to ask for a special weekend day daytime appointment, that wasnt offered on the website (we work weekends, and they usually only do daytime on weekends). I spoke to the owner of the company, who was AMAZINGLY cool and booked us for a special time, just to accommodate us!THEN, he recommended we do his favorite room, Blaines Basement. THEN, he told me that that room only has a 20% success rate! So, basically he threw down the gauntlet!It was ON!!! Blaines Basement, it is!I will NEVER give spoilers, but I will say this: this room was a creepy ass, super cool, extra level of creativity! It combined escape room with horror movie, with Medium tv show, with FBI Files, with murder mystery, and more! It was a non-linear escape room, which is my favorite, as you always have to be thinking forward AND backward! The clues were SO involved, complicated, and thoughtful, but my favorite part was how involved the ROOM was. Thats really all I can say. Just do it.Trust me (I know you dont KNOW me, but consider me a friend, and just DO IT)!!!!PS....20% be damned! WE made it out!!! 6 minutes to spare!! It can be done!! We were all soooo jacked up and full of adrenaline that we talked about the room non stop during dinner following. Im not sure my hear rate is normal, 10 hours later!
