We enjoyed the lights. We went at 6. The crowd was not bad at all. They has the snow blowing. Lots of places to pose for pictures.

We loved going through all the different gardens. It was a great way to spend our Sunday! Plant sale was a great plus, marked down 50%, we bought a purple onion and a coleus. Theyre doing beautifully!

Love this place. Excited to live in Memphis again so I can take the kids here more often.

Its pretty much perfect. Weve got a membership and try and go often but we live in MS. The only thing I would change would be to add a restroom or two. When its busy, finding one is difficult. Other than that, you could spend all day here and never run out of things to enjoy.

It is all ready for Christmas. Go see the lights and visit with Sants.

My Big Backyard is great for kids of all ages. There is something for toddlers, all the way up to older children. The worm holes, splash pad and small play ground for small kids, and the Bird’s best for older kids, are just some of the fun provided in My Big Backyard. I appreciate that there are clean family restrooms available at the Guest House. There are also water fountains and a vending machine located there as well.

Love this place, especially for kids! We live in a townhome so we dont have a backyard, so this place is just perfect for some outdoor play. The kids can dig in the dirt, role play, explore, and just enjoy the beautiful nature around them.The other party of the gardens are beautiful too, and enjoyable to walk around. Especially the koi pond, the fish think youre going to feed them (which you can pay to do so) so they get so close to you and theyre huge! Its pretty neat to see

Enjoyable for kids and parents. You can easily relax and spend time with your spouse while the kids burn through their energy. The sight lines allow parents to sit and relax while also keeping an eye their little ones.

My Big Backyard is located within the Memphis Botanic Gardens. There are so many different things for the kids to explore and imagine. In the summer months, there is even a rain and creek bed feature in which the kids can (and parents) can cool off.In every area, parents can either play with them or can take a rest on a bench or in the grass to watch.

I CANT BELIEVE I HAVENT HEARD MORE ABOUT THIS AT BOTANIC GARDENS!! I have always LOVED the Memphis Botanic Gardens, however Ive been gone for 10 years and just moved back! I recently revisited the MBG, and was shocked I had not heard of or seen the My Big Backyard before from other parents... As I am always taking fun kid spots suggestions!My daughter loved it and we will be getting a membership next year for the next warm season!! Everyone.... definitely take the kiddos here, it is totally worth it, and only $10 per-person for admission.

I was only here once, and it was to see a concert... The B-52s opened for Boy George. It was right on a beautiful Lake, there was a lot of space to spread out, all of the vendors were nice, and it was one of the most fun concerts Ive ever been to because of the scenery and being able to get away from the crowd and stand by the lake if you want to. Its now one of my favorite places!

Lots of unique outdoor interactive activities for the kids. There are also a number of small houses to explore each with their own theme. Beautiful grounds. Expect to spend a few hours here :-)

Kids had an absolute blast. Plenty to do though I imagine if crowded it would be fairly slim on activities.Top two were the rain garden and bird house. Someone thought hard on those.
