I booked the dinner and boat cruise to celebrate my husband birthday yesterday. Which he definitely enjoyed the boat cruise. My only complaint which I cant rated five stars is the bathroom needs to be more clean . Especially since we all dealing with Covid pandemic . I appreciate they had all the guest spaced out following the safety practicing. The band was great and the food was good . The staff was great very good customer service friendly which is great. Definitely will go back again .

Great experience with the added bonus of education in the areas history. Very well maintained vessel with a full bar and concession stand. Awesome staff was friendly and helpful during the tour. The views are spectacular and opportunity to catch some great photos are endless. Easy to find with plenty of parking, just make sure to read the details on the website for weekends since COVID.

The food was no good. The area was very sketchy. The ride was okay but the tour guide was horrible. Some of his comments were inappropriate for children. There were people with children on board. I could hardly understand him due to his inability to speak correctly. He was not funny at all! If you look around, everyone was tuning him out and ready to go. He really needs to work on public speaking.

My husband and I went on this boat ride for our first anniversary. It was nice. The water and lights were pretty. The food was pretty good. The music was alright, it had its moments. We was pretty tired and ready for bed once it was over. Towards the end we was ready to be done. Still had a great time! I would recommend it!

Good and the badFirst Ladies do not wear high heels as it’s steep and rocky to get to boat. When making reservations ask to be by band or you are Crowded right beside others.food is decent. Only not as hot as I would like to had been. Drinks are reasonable for mixed drinks. But I do not know soda or tea or anything like that comes with the dinner. Band is ok also. The staff are friendly (Tips lol ) smoking is Allowed on top deck which can be smelled everywhere including lots of marijuana. Just something to do. I believe once is fine but just don’t get to excited you probably won’t be back.

After going on several other steamboat tours, to compare with, this wasnt the greatest one. Not actually a steam powered one, but ok. Not a very big one either, but nice looking one. Walked onto ship and up to dinning room and felt a very sticky floor on the way up. We got our table and then drinks. The band played while waiting for dinner. There really wasnt that much to see being dark. The best thing we saw was the light show on the bridges. They happen on the hour. There is free parking, but hidden. When you see the three riverboats at home dock, there is a small entrance that goes down to the left to a cobblestone parking area.

My husbands company and an event on the Memphis Queen and it was so much fun! It was an employee & family event and the kids loved the boat. So Im finally getting to do my experience with this steamboat tour. Im sure my aunt has already done hers since she called, and booked every seat and HIGHCHAIR for my cousins wedding rehearsal dinner.I put highchair in capital because my daughter was 1 almost 2 when we went to do dinner. My aunt reserved a highchair for my daughter. We get there, walk down this long spiral ramp to our boat, this ramp was steep and had NO lights. It was completely dark out and some of us had heels on. We get aboard our boat its crowed, no biggie, get to our table with other bridal party and family. I go to sit behind our table to a two person table since there was no more space at their big table and they placed me and my mother at a two person table. I ask for our highchair, woman says its down below so she goes to get it. 10/15 minutes later comes up says that they must not brought them on yet so calls for the man who led us down to the boat. Nice guy but I could smell he smoked weed. So Im guessing he was high because he then proceeded to say to me and his coworker that he took all their highchairs and put them on the other boat. A boat that I was watching sail ahead of us on the MS River. I had been excited to do this boat dinner but couldnt. I grabbed my stuff and asked nicely to let me and my already squirmy one year old off. The lady who sat us then proceeded to tell me to just hold her. A two hour river ride...hold a one year old who knows how to walk.. yeah. I said no, shes not going to sit still, we reserved the highchair ahead of this, when making reservations you asked if one was needed we said yes. And yall put all of them on another boat. I then asked again after its been past sailing time to let us off because I did not want to hold up others on the boat, and was aware I wasnt going be able to enjoy my time. They let me off with my daughter,& my moms gets off too. After my aunt whos son was getting married and this was his rehearsal dinner, and my aunt paid for everyones ticket made a scene. They guy who took all the highchairs and put them on the other boat said hed meet us at the gate which is at the top of the spiral, and dark ramp we walked down. Myself, in heels, with a diaper bag,& my my baby started walking he hopped on a golf cart and drove up on an employee only walk path. I get to the top with my mother...DUDE is NOT there! Waited for 10 minutes he never came to unlock and open this little gate! So my mother had to climb over it, I had to give her my diaper bag and my daughter and in a DRESS and HEELS hiked my leg over and climbed over this gate!Absolutely ridiculous and worst experience ever for first time! EACH boat should have their OWN set of highchairs for children! And staff members need better training. The dude left in a golf cart for goodness sake and I walked up a spiral dark ramp in heels he was no where to be found! I was looking forward to that boat ride growing up on mud island Memphis I never done the steamboat river ride. Ever. And was excited but had that as an experience! Some work definitely needs to be done and some better staff and training for sure.

My wife and I went to the evening sight seeing cruise. The parking is pretty far away but it was a nice walk through the park. After we loaded the staff gives everyone a chance to get food and drinks for the trip. I thought everything was pretty fairly priced, especially compared to normal tourist attractions. My wife and I sat on the 2nd Floor deck, where there is some shade, but I believe the top deck had a better view but no shade and the bottom deck is closed in and air conditioned. The guide was amazing and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Its definitely worth the money!

Took the dinner cruise. It was great. Fantastic band and the food was good. Nice and cool and clean.A very observant employee noticed the windows on the outside of the upper deck (where we were seated by the windows ) were foggy due to the humidity and went outside and wiped them down so we could see better.Memphis skyline at night was awesome. Might be a challenge for those with less mobility due to the stairs to the upper deck where the buffet and band is located.Kind of a walk to the Beale Street Landing area from the parking lot..

I took my wife on the Dinner and Music Cruise for her birthday. It was a wonderful experience and absolutely worth the money. The price is very reasonable. The Captain, staff, and band were all very friendly. The food and music were good. We are from the area, so we are familiar with the river and familiar with Memphis, but this was a whole new beautiful perspective on this city. I was pleased to see that this is appropriate for both one-on-one time with your spouse, and also for adult groups, tourists, and families with children. The bar prices are also very reasonable with outstanding staff. Do be aware that the gates at Tom Lee park close at 9p.m. Youll want to park someplace else for the evening cruise to avoid being locked in. Cant say enough good stuff about our time. Id happily do it again next week.

Hosted our family reunion on the sight seeing cruise. Loved the tour up until the torrential rain and wind. The Dinner Fireworks Cruise is what we did; my birthday 5/25 sis birthday 5/23 and it was awesome. The band--Nightlife and the light-up dance floor is amazing. The food was OK. what really topped it off was the hospitality of the staff, the boat ride itself, the band and the Fireworks.... If I could get Fireworks with this Dinner Cruise every-time I would overdose on going.....Its a must EXPERIENCE ppl. My sister couldnt stop bragging and smiling. It was her first time to Beale st and on a boat ride.....The seats was a lil crammed but we had a window seat which was good... Its a little extra for the dinner cruise and a lil more if you will be on the water viewing the Fireworks during holidays. Memphis was celebrating its 200 anniversary; so they also had an air show. Memphis really showed appreciation for our USA Military ...My/our birthday weekend turned out to be the perfect weekend to do this.....Of Course Ill BE Back to Do This...LOVE It....Worth Every Dime..Thank You Memphis Riverboats

I purchased a two-hour mothers day cruise with Memphis Riverboats for my mom on April 11, 2019. The cruise advertised a menu of ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits, grits, yogurt, fruit tray, cheese and crackers, pasta salad, summer sausage tray, veggie tray with dip, Hawaiian bread with spinach dip, assorted danishes, cookies, cakes and one complimentary beer,or mimosa, orange and cranberry juice. The entire purchase price was $76.00 plus tax. After purchasing the ticket days letter I received an email that the menu had changed to French Toast Bake, Hash brown Casserole, Fruit Salad, Donut Hole Skewers, Spinach Feta Pinwheels, Chicken Bites, Sausage and Cream Cheese balls, Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwiches, Mini Cakes, Lemon Tarts. While on the cruise the tables were called in order. My moms table was number eight but they allowed nine and ten to go ahead of them which made my familys table last. Once they were allowed to get there food they were told to wait for more chicken bites. After standing and waiting with their plates they inquired and found out that they would not be putting out any more chicken bites. Due to the menu being drastically different than described they ate what was left like fruit and danishes. They were dissatisfied because it was described as a buffet and they did not get one plate of what they would have desired to eat.I called to speak with a representative after the event was over. The young lady informed me after I was describing my moms complaint that someone from my group had already called. The representative stated that the owner said that he would not be offering a refund because they could have eaten the other items that were left. I had not asked for anything but was expressing my dissatisfaction and had not given the name for my moms group. I felt that my concerns were dismissed.

Really enjoyed the history and experience parts of it.They really want you to print out the qr code tickets which is a pain when traveling. They do provide a way to do it there in the main office but still seems redundant. The ticket comes with a decent summary of what you need to do and when boarding begins. Read it because you may not want to arrive late or too early. Due to music festivals everything was closed off and a long walk was required to enter which made us and others call it a bit close. This was not the fault of Memphis river boats but the knowledge would have been helpful. It seems they oversell the available seats which can be a problem if you arrive late. Dont be afraid to share a table with someone or bring a chair to the deck you want and drag it to the rail because that is what ends up having to happen once everyone is aboard. We had a large group arrive late and have no where to sit so they ended up standing in front of us on the stairs. This meant we ended up watching their backsides for most of the trip. I am also not real sure why smoking is allowed on a riverboat but this is not yet a smoke free city so I guess it is fine.
