The newer interactions and exhibits are worth the hype! Elvis Presley motors is an example of how upgraded the museum has become. There are several other engaging upgrades to the plaza since the last time I was here. The staff were all kind, friendly and helpful. All pandemic protocols were in place.Be prepared to be separated from your money, but thats the brilliant merchandising behind the story.Even if you arent the biggest Elvis Presley fan, you will come away from the experience with a sort of awe and respect, because this guy was the real deal. He truly was a living legend. His thing was that he wanted to make people happy. He did that by becoming one of the greatest entertainers in human history. Hard to believe that he had stage fright for most of his career. That was just one of the hundreds of new things I learned about Elvis since I was here last.Even the tragic ending for Elvis was probably appropriate. Its the elephant in the room and out of respect, its glossed over. Fame killed him. He simply could not continue being Elvis. He gave everything he had 24/7 for a long time. He worked hard, played hard and loved hard. It was that devotion to life that was ultimately his demise. The great George Harrison commented that the Beatles understood what he was going through. But the Beatles had each other, the four of them were having a shared experience. But only Elvis knew what it was like to be Elvis. And when he just couldnt do it anymore, his Savior brought him home.Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place in your lifetime... Highly recommended. This is a bucket list stop.Just for fun, I listened to Paul Simons hit Graceland as I strolled to the spot where a legend once lived.

The property is beautifully landscaped with Southern charm. The interior gives insite to who Elvis was in life. Its extravagantly designed and furnished. All employees are friendly and very helpful. The tour is self pasted with video and sound information of each area. The vehicle museum is a delight to those interested in cars. The walk through his planes was interesting and informative of the technology of the time. Great place to visit.

If youve ever wanted to see 1970s opulence at its peak, then you NEED to visit Graceland. The entire property is a time capsule showcasing the life of Elvis Presley in ways casual fans (like myself) might not expect. A private racquetball court? Of course. Three televisions in the living room? It was good enough for the president, so it was good enough for Elvis. A custom airplane? Oh, hell yes.And then theres the Jungle Room. The self guided tour even has an audio component hosted by John Uncle Jesse Stamos. My wife and I went shortly after they re-opened in 2020 with new COVID-19 restrictions in place. While they werent perfect (the shuttle to and from the house did not distance seats correctly) - the limited capacity overall made the experience feel comfortable. A positive side effect to this was the ability to get clear photos of the tour without random people getting in the shot.We opted to stay across the street at the Guest House at Graceland which I recommend if youre coming to visit Graceland in order immerse yourself into pure TCB culture. It definitely made the experience that much more memorable.WARNING: Side effects include forcing your spouse to listen to Elvis Radio on SiriusXM for the remainder of your road trip after visiting.

We live only a couple of hours South of Graceland , so we try to visit as much as possible . The exhibits in “Elvis’ Memphis” right across the street from the mansion are fantastic . The food is very good at the restaurants we’ve eaten at over there also . Bring some extra cash. You may need it . Overall, just a relaxing short drive get-away for us . Thanks .

If you are looking to be apart of the Graceland experience without actually going on the tour or through the mansion, you can visit the gate and the wall. There you can add your name to the wall of Graceland and take several photos. Remember your marker! There is parking right in front of the wall and if you like me and didn’t know where the wall was it is across the street from his plane.

I took my 12 year old son. We stopped on our way back home to Texas from New Jersey. I was afraid he would be bored but he absolutely loved it! So did I! There is SO MUCH to see. Its a little more money to see the mansion but its well worth it. So many exhibits. His cars, his costumes, his movies, his furniture, etc. I saw a commercial when I got home to Texas that its 1200 acres. You could spend all day there easily. I was concerned about covid 19 but they have reduced capacity and social distancing was enforced. I only wish masks were mandated. The two twin sisters behind us kept veering towards us while in line. I finally politely asked one of them to please keep her distance. She quickly apologized but then proceeded to make fun of my request and started coughing on purpose murmuring something about America being a free country. My son only has me, since his father passed away in 2016. I am NOT trying to chance orphaning my child. Thankfully as the tour went underway, my son and I hung back and let everyone else in our small group go in front of us, including the two twin sisters. We had a blast and were completely by ourselves almost the whole time. We were able to go at our own pace and really took our time. Before continuing our journey back to Texas, we enjoyed a fabulous, reasonably priced BBQ meal with two sides, a drunk and a dessert for $16/each outside one of the two restaurants they still had open. It was delicious and the lady that helped us was the sweetest! Im so glad we went. If you ever get a chance, please go!!

This was a great experience. We spent 4 1/2 hours touring the home and exhibits. If you have time, get the 2 day pass. Everything was very professional and interesting. When we went they were only allowing a limited number of visitors because of Covid so we were able to see and do everthing without crowds and having to wait in lines to see the exhibits and do the interactive displays which were very clever and easy to do. Highly recommend and will return next time we are in the area.

The experience at Graceland was amazing. I am giving it 5 Stars because of the helpfulness of the tour guides and how polite they were. When I went there with my family we had an awesome time. My favorite part of the tour was probably Elvis House and then the time he was in the military. Because I also served in the Army. A side note that my oldest daughter told me that Graceland was the 2nd most toured place in the United States right behind the White House. I would highly recommend this tour if you have not already been. Quite an experience. Trust me!!

The Graceland mansion was definitely worth a visit, but the Disneyland across the street was a special brand of awful. It’s $73 for one adult (Disney World starts at $109), and the exhibits in the complex are relatively sparse and uninteresting.Only the most devoted Elvis fan would appreciate most of the displays. The number of gift stores between each exhibit also left a bad taste in my mouth.Visit once for the mansion, but otherwise save your time for better attractions in Memphis.

At first I was a little hesitant to visit Graceland because the tickets are a little pricey from my point of view. Since it was my first time in Memphis I decided to spend the money and was very glad I did. it was very interesting to see Elvis house and how he lived. they also have a great self guided audio and video tour with an iPad which provided a lot of additional details about his live and family. (different languages available).after the house tour you can check out several museums with his cars, costumes and so on. my favorite exhibition was the one about other artists that were influenced by Elvis. it was stunning to see how big his influence was and still is.Will I come back? probably not because over 70$ is a high price for a ticket. qas it worth it? definitely, especially for first time visitors I would recommend it!

This was my second visit. The first was over 10 years ago. Three years ago they completely changed Graceland adding a large museum complex across the street. It allowed for a large room with his cars, a large room with outfits of singers that were inspired by those of Elvis, one about his times in the military, one with Elvis outfits, one about his films with lots of movie posters, one about Lisa Marie, the beautiful collection of gold and platinum records, and a section where you re-live Elvis start (they show a documentary there). In the mansion, everything was as before with an addition of an area where they talk about Elvis family and life (where before they had the gold and platinum records. I think) and the racketball/ exercise building.

Wow!!! We stayed at Graceland Guesthouse and I caught the free shuttle over to my tour first thing in the morning. It was incredible! I felt like the only thing that could top my experience was Elvis himself giving the tour with pure pride. Priscillas love and respect for Elvis is poured into every detail! I was worried it would be hard since I have multiple sclerosis and was by myself for that part. Nope, everything went off without a hitch. Thanks to Covid, I was concerned it would be a hot mess, but it was the opposite! Everyone was very careful. In fact our group was just me! I was able to see each room at my own pace with the ipad tour and take pictures! Staff was near to ask questions and extremely kind! The details and perfection of each item was as if time had stopped the second I walked through that door! Due to time I had to make my tour shorter than I wanted. I will however be back for sure! Worth every penny! I have nothing but amazing things to say about my entire experience! To Priscilla, thank you for saving and pouring all that love into showing the world a piece of the amazing life of Elvis and his family.

Graceland was always was a dream for my mother to see, so when our family went on an ancestry roadtrip during the summer we arranged to tour the mansion. The outside of the house is beautiful. I wish we could have spent more time in front of the house to get more photographs. As this is a very popular place we were rather pushed through rather quickly and had to wear masks as well as our temperature was taken before boarding the bus which took us to the mansion for our tour. We felt save even during the pandemic. The interior of the house of course was rather dated but I loved the stained glass window and staircase inside the house. I also really enjoyed seeing items and photos of Elvis and his family. I was happy to witness the cemetery where Elvis and his family are buried on the grounds as well. My mother was giddy the whole time we were here and we also bought lots of souvenirs from the shops. I was surprised that the neighborhood was very run down. I am happy they had a parking area for guests as it felt more safe leaving our cars there.

Graceland is a mansion on a 13.8-acre (5.6 ha) estate in Memphis, Tennessee, United States, once owned by singer and actor Elvis Presley. His daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, has been the owner of Graceland since his death in 1977. Graceland is located at 3764 Elvis Presley Boulevard in the vast Whitehaven community, about 9 miles (14 km) from Downtown and less than 4 miles (6.4 km) north of the Mississippi border. It was opened to the public as a museum on June 7, 1982. The site was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1991, becoming the first site related to rock and roll to be entered therein. Graceland was declared a National Historic Landmark on March 27, 2006, also a first for a rock singer. Graceland is the second most-visited house in the U.S. after the White House, with over 650,000 visitors a year.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars because I don’t think there are too many Elvis fans bigger than me. I wasn’t even alive when Elvis walked this earth, yet for the last 26 years I have loved him. Everything: who he was, what he stood for, the kind of man, father, son he was. He just had that thing every man wants... Charisma. So you can imagine me pulling up to Graceland for the first time, I was ecstatic!Elvis’ house and the grounds were absolutely awesome. Seeing how he lived, what he liked, how he decorated, experiencing places he actually sat and ate and lived was just so cool. That part of the experience was amazing. The museum portion of the tour was the part we were less crazy about. When you have this idea of going to Graceland you kind have this intimate thought that it’s just you and your family friends, in this home and getting to experience The Kings life. But that’s really not to case. There is kind of an amusement park feel to it. We believe a big part of that could be attributed to the attitude of the staff. I know the staff there are just normal people living in Memphis trying to make a living, but they are unenthusiastic... Every time you ask questions; they either do not know, or you feel like you are bothering them. You know when you get to Disney and you feel like your at the happiest place on earth? I wanted that so bad for Graceland!!Do I think you should come see this in your life time and cross this off you bucket list? Absolutely! Especially if you are an Elvis fan. I just wish there were a few tweaks to make it a little better.Expert Tips: Bring a marker to sign the wall in front of his house! If you’re unsure which ticket option to go with, we felt the regular experience tour ($73) or the ultimate ($185) were the best value. The extra exhibit you get for the VIP tour is not worth the extra $40 per person. The Ultimate VIP tour comes with your own tour guide & from what we overheard, they are pretty knowledgeable!

There were a few places I really wanted to hear all of a video they played of Elvis speaking that because in a group and on a time limit we didnt get too hear it all bc the guide was talking. However you have the option of going back through if you decide to on your own. There are benefits to VIP and self guided. There is truly so much to soak in! The gift shops are plentiful and I am not a souvenir purchaser, however I became one on this trip! Whoever does there marketing did a fine job on the merchandise. Its useful and not junk. There are his airplanes and cars, motorcycles. Truly amazing ️Also this is a huge huge thing, eat at VERNONS . it is on the premises at Graceland. We were very surprised to note the food was exceptional! Not only was it great, but almost every item was gluten free. I am gluten intolerant and the bbq from the pork to the brisket, the ribs, chicken ALL were gluten free. But wait...THE MAC N CHEESE WAS GLUTEN FREE AND DELICIOUS!!!!!!️ The sides of vegetables were truly good and we liked it so much we came back the next day to eat befpre we headed back home. We had to pay to park again but it was worth it. Get the premium it is more bang for buck! Oh..and if you like fried catfish and are gluten intolerant..guess what..you can eat it and the cornbread( taste like a cupcake). In previous trips it is incredibly busy and you are hurried through everything simply because of the volume of ppl going through, but because of the pandemic and the rules in place it feels like you were handed the keys to graceland and granted access to just roam through. Also, kudos to Graceland for finally expanding the displays with more of Elviss stuff and moving all of his FABULOUS suits and gold records into their own exhibit, I loved viewing them in previous visits, but to have the extra time to admire them rather than pushed through the raquetball room where they were once displayed is priceless!!

They have added so much more to the museum. So cool. Very touching. Elvis is King no doubt. Pricier than a few years ago but absolutely worth it.

Aside from Elvis being the greatest pop culture phenomenon of the 20th century, Graceland is an exquisite time capsule of mid-century home design and decor. One of the best tours I’ve ever taken. More enjoyable even than Hearst Castle, and that’s saying something!

First off, we are not huge Elvis fans but we do like some of his music. While in Memphis we thought we should visit Graceland and see what they have to offer. The tickets were more expensive than we thought they should be but after visiting, there is a lot more to see than we expected. The mansion was fabulous and Graceland had a lot more to offer that we expected. There was Elvis motors, section on his military career, his football interest. They had a room with lots of his outfits and a section on Lisa Marie. We also got to tour 2 of his custom jets. There were several gift shop and 4 restaurants. We actually spent almost 4 hours on the tour. The restrooms were very clean and since they just re-opened due to Corid-19 the crowd was very, very small. We started our tour with 1 other couple

Totally worth it! Took my mom for a birthday present (since she’s a HUGE Elvis fan, of course) and she LOVED it. I recommend the Ultimate VIP tour - a bit pricey, but worth it. Access to everything, no waiting in line, a meal voucher to Vernon’a Smokehouse (delicious!), and the tour with an expert makes it worthwhile. Thanks so much to Kristyn! She was so great, personable, and knew so much about Elvis and the history. Such a fun experience!

My wife and I visited Graceland on September 29, 2020. The museum is interesting and offers a lot of displays. We enjoyed the displays. The problem was not with the displays but with the employees. There was a total lack of courtesy and help. Many times employees were busy talking with one another and ignoring guests. At times they seemed bothered by having to answer questions or help with purchases. The most appalling situation involved an employee who was obviously very sick in the store Next to Elvis’s airplane display. as she coughed incessantly for several minutes and without excusing herself. Her cough was deep, heavily congested,, and continuous. Other employees ignored her continuous cough. I wanted to leave the store but she stood near the exit door. I finally said I was very uncomfortable and asked that she move so I could exit and she continued to stand by the door coughing heavily for several minutes. I was petrified due to my age and powerless to get out for several minutes. She finally moved but walked directly by me as though my request for her to move seemed to bother her.I strongly recommend that Graceland Management address these issues as safety should be paramount with COVID all around and to help employees realize that the high cost of entry should include a workforce that values its customers and strives for excellence.

Really cool and nice to visit. I’m not a huge Elvis fan in general but it was still interesting and kind of fun to interact with the exhibits. However they have about 7 gift shops and they charge a 4% tourist tax which we only encountered at Graceland... just add the 4% to the price!

This was a once in lifetime experience—and yes only once. The museum admission price was Sky high to enter. However, it did include a lot of museums and exhibits. We enjoyed walking through the property around Graceland and the house the most.

These people stole my money. I am having to go through my bank to dispute the charges because they will not give me a refund. We had purchased tickets prior to the Covid pandemic. When I called to cancel because we will not be traveling during this time they said they can not issue any refunds no exceptions. Even during a global pandemic!!!! I had to postpone my wedding and was going to be out on the road for 3 weeks. We had multiple flights, hotels, cars, shows & activities booked and every single one of them issued me a full refund no questions asked. Even everyone we hired for our wedding issued us refunds. These crooks are the only ones who refuse. They dont care about their customers. Because of this incident, I will never be coming here and I would not recommend anyone else. They are heartless and will steal your money too.

One of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We got VIP tickets and viewed the mansion, his records, clothes he wore on stage, his life in the army, his cars and so much more. Time spent was 4 hours. We probably could have taken more time and spent an ex hour or 2. Amazing experience. Elvis was a generous man and loved his family very much.

I enjoyed it but was frustrated because the internet showed you could purchase a tour of the house separately for $41 each. When we got there they charged us $152 for 2 adults. You could only get the ticket for everything. Thats not what we wanted but didnt have a choice.

I toured Graceland when Elvis was in his coffin. It was a beautiful place. The mansion is still beautiful behind its fences, but the street out front... The real world begins in the ghetto

Graceland was amazing and my daughter and I had so much fun touring the Elvis exhibits and listening to Elvis music. He is truly the king. The catfish was delicious at Vernons Smokehouse where we got to see Elvis videos on the TV. And of course, the rock concert featuring Tesla at the Graceland Soundstage was truly the best rock concert Ive ever seen. They absolutely rocked and Jeff Keiths vocals once again blew me away.

While my love for elvis is great I found it quite expensive. I am sure he would want his fans happy to visit and pay respects not be overpriced. Long live the king.
