Amazing trails, views & everything u want 4 a close 2 city hike

Awesome. I liked that the door was open and we were able to go up in the tower. Its not always open. Its a beautiful view of Boston from up here.

Really enjoyed the hike here. Very good sceneries all around. Trail is marked in the beginning but there are few places that is confusing. Wish I could get into this tower but its closed.

Beautiful view. The tower was locked when I got there, but there was a rock you can stand on and have a clear 190 degree view of rt93 and Boston.I recommend it to everyone who enjoys outdoors

Nice walk and view of Boston. Although at the top - the tower is covered in the graffiti and broken glass pieces everywhere...careful with your children.

A delightful hidden gem in the Fells Park system! Short hike up from the many trails below. Great view of Boston and more. Tower needs to be open more (sad that have to protect from vandalism).

Tower isnt always open (-1 star) but its an easy home with some fantastic vistas.

Easy hike with tons of great views

Best way to start a hike in the Fells with a beautiful view of the Boston skyline. YOu can then pick up the Skyline Trail or other Paths to head down to the South Reservoir, which in my opinion, is the jewel of the Reservation.

Nice hiking options for longer walks or a short 15 minutes up to the tower and its a great view when youre up there. The whole reservation is gorgeous and peaceful, always a good time. Parking lots available too.

The view is amazing you can see Boston easily

A friend suggested this as a close to the city light hike with some time fun for the kids ... He was right. Right off the highway easy to easy for all skill levels and the tower is fun for the kids of all ages

Lovely view of Boston

Fun short woodland hike up to the tower from a small lot on S. Border road. With at least two options to walk up. We went up a somewhat steep stoney way up, which my daughter loved and then came back down a smooth longer trail down in the fading light.

Not difficult to walk up and the view was very nice. The trails are well maintained as well, no litter.

We can see the beautiful scenario of downtown Boston and surrounding.

Its really nice, you can see the city of Medford right in front of you. Also you can see Boston from top of the moutain.

I love the hiking trails in the Middlesex Fells, and the Wrights Tower is a great stop. The views are really nice if youre lucky enough to go when the tower is unlocked.

A great place to take visitors to see the skyline of Boston and enjoy nature. Also good for quiet walks and trail running.

Worth checking out when its open! Small 1930s tower with views looking toward Boston. The views are ok, it is a little far from the skyline and not tall enough for views looking north.

Cool view of the metro area. Kids wont be that interested nor want to hang out long.We got stung by some kind of hornet or wasp as we climbed up to it - we watched a few families get harassed in the same spot as we were at the top.

Would love it more if it was actually open. Not open very often. But still great views of Boston, the harbor and wonderful sunsets. A hidden gem north of Boston. Great hiking trails!

Beautiful views from this spot. You can see the Boston financial district but also the harbor islands on a clear day. Too bad the highway is so loud, but at least it is way down below.

Great overlook of the city just a step or two away from the tower. Makes for some fun photos and a great destination hike for beginners.

After a small easy hike (about 15/20 minutes) you get a great view of Boston

A great and easy hike for kids (and adults) of all ages. Park in one of the lots on S. Border Road and go up to Wrights Tower and back via the Panther Cave and everyone will enjoy it. The views of 93 from the Tower are quite nice and you can see for miles in all directions.

Strong spot to see a good Boston skyline, and in a good spot for a hike. Pretty easy walk up, but there are harder trails nearby.

Great view

We stopped by on a cold January day. It was still a wonderful view, but I had to deduct a couple of stars as the tower was locked and it isnt clear how you can determine whether it will be unlocked until you actually make the climb.

The tower is at the top of the park, up there has a great view of the city of Boston. good place to walk with dog, make a trail and even meet with friends for a time of prayer.

I think the observation tower is locked for the winter months. It was locked last time I went there. But there are still amazing views from the top of the hill.

Nice place to go for short family friendly manageable hikes picnic with a view of Boston sky line. We have a 3 year old and she managed fine holding hands climbing done of the more challenging parts

Offers a pretty good view of the Boston skyline. Easiest way to get here is to park in the parking lot on the South Border Rd and the tower is about 10 -15 min walk from there.If you want to stretch your legs, get on the moderate Skyline trail from one of the parking lots.

There is adequate parking at this trail head. The hike itself is quick with a nice sky line of Boston. If the tower is open you get a great panaramic view, if closed there a rocky ledge you can go out on. Downside is the view and noise of 93, there is also broken glass in some areas. Not very paw friendly with that glass around.
