What a great place to see some local talent. The theatre is open to anyone who wishes to “try-out” for a part in an upcoming play.The theatre is non-profit and tickets are about $10 per show. They’re always looking for volunteers if you’re interested check out their FB page.The theatre is old, musty smelling. The chairs are horrible to sit on for a 2 hour show.The staff is friendly. The speaker before the show uses many “ums, ands” etc when speaking.If you’re looking for something entertaining and want to support local plays/theatre this is the place for you.

Outstanding as always Im so impressed because it truly is community minded, so many small town theaters have a clique and its always the same lead actors and same people directing. Marion is not like that. Good shows and a nicely remodeled historic building.

We went for the show She Loves Me and really enjoyed it! They had a very friendly staff, a good cast and crew, and had a mom & pop business from the community come in and set up products, which was a nice treat. We enjoyed it, recommend it, and hope to return.

I went to see A Christmas Carol, I had a great experience. The staff and cast were great, very enjoyable experience. You can tell they love performing for the community, and do a great job. I have seen a few professional productions and this group is on their level of performance. Thanks for a great experience!

A great, historic place. One of the hidden gems of Grant County.Make sure you get a chance to see a show in this theater. We have great local talent, and its great for date night.

Great civic theater that puts on excellent performances on a tiny budget. I sometimes imagine what they could do with funding.

Ive made so many friends here and honestly Im so thankful that they let the Mississinewa theatre do shows here.
