For a quick day hike or trail run this place is hard to beat. From the parking lot there are several trails ranging from easy to challenging like the Fossil Trail. Weve hiked here many times and never get bored. Our kids love climbing the trees and the waterfall.

I really like the laid back atmosphere around the RVs and trailers parked in the parking lot over Labor Day 2020. The walk from the parking lot to the shore is far but no further than most beaches in SoCal. This is a difficult beach to swim at. The waves break close to the shore and the shore has a steep entry angle. The weather was great and the friends we were with are unforgettably awesome. You must download an app to pay for parking. I paid $7.00 for the day. On the day we were there, a lifeguard was on duty from sun up to sundown.

Friendly life guards. Dogs are allowed with a leash. The parking pay machine asked for my license plate but i couldnt enter my license plate because their L button wasnt working. Fortunately there is an app to pay for parking and it was only $7 day rate as opposed to $8 from the machine on site. Cool beach. Heavy waves that break on the shore. No bbq unless its propane. A lifeguard told me i was allowed to bbq with charcoal in the parking lot so i had a little tailgate bbq after spending a few hours on the beach.

A great place for camping and recreation at the north end of Malibu before you cross over into Oxnard. Good tent camping sites with showers on site. Walk under the bridge to the beach and enjoy sunsets from the point. All a huge sand dune and many hikes in the park.

Very interesant place to visit. This place is so famous in California, because a lot of advertising and movies are made here. This incredible spot has a nice view. Sometimes, you can see dolphins playing in the ocean. Also, tgere is a plenty of room to park your car, but sometimes is harder to find a place, because everybody want to cone here and enjoy the incredible view.

Multiple hiking trails, some are open to trail bikes and horses. Nice place to hike when the Valley is hot since you have ocean breezes and some shade. It gets busy with mountain bikes on the weekends but everyone is courteous. There is also a campground on site. There is limited day use parking on site but across the street is additional day use parking is available or if you just want to picnic at the beach. There is an entrance fee for parking.

Great park! Easy hiking trails with great views of the ocean, clean campsites and great beach! The beach is perfect for hanging out in my opinion. Soft sand, no rocks on the shore that cut your feet walking into the water, and waves are nice and chill. The water is relatively shallow but enough to make boogie boarding fun. Came here for a church retreat and bachelor party. Lots of fun!

Beautiful place to enjoy the beach. Nice big sandy area for sunbathing. Pay Parking lot ($3) restrooms available. Filming for various purposes is quite popular at the Park, so you may encounter a film crew but the staff at the park manage things very well. The frequency of film shoots is a great indicator of what a picturesque environment the park has to offer. If you are anywhere near county line it is a beautiful place to visit.

From the perspective of a van camper, this site was great! The site itself was very nice and well maintained, with big spaces for trailers, standard fire rings and benches, clean restrooms and coin op showers. The crowd was nice and diverse, family friendly with kids of all ages, the camp hosts were very nice as well, selling firewood, starters, and the like. The campsite is located for all sorts of activities from lounging at the beach, to mountain biking, hiking, and road cycling. Would highly recommend for novice campers or those with younglings. Also, we stayed at site 40 bc we have a youngster and didnt want his crying to bother anyone, the downside is that everyone passes by your site as its the main entrance/exit.

Stunning views, great trails, stellar beaches. Access to so much land thanks to the State Park system, Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, Conejo Open Space, and other open space organizations. My daughter Sharlean had to do a report on something she had never done before and write about it, so she decided that she had never been backpacking. The islands were her first choice, then we decided to stay inland. I had been to this park before so I suggested it and she accomplished her first 10 miler here. Jaden came along and they both did great on the hike with full packs. So much great space so close to home.
