Urban mosquito preservation habitat 235 is a lovely place to walk with several good overlooks and path access to multiple neighborhoods. The local wild life is particularly persistent during evening hours making it a very useful loop for after work marathon training.

Nice little loop. A pleasant stroll around a small pond. No facilities.

Fantastic little neighborhood park and pond. Definitely bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are pretty active as you get closer to the pond. Small parking area just off of Old Middleton Road, probably just enough for three cars. There is a couple of other entrances throughout the neighborhood that have parking as well, but not much. The main park trail loops around the pond. Slight descent down to the pond, but nothing too steep. Should be pretty easy to navigate. Lots of beautiful flowers throughout the entire park and the trail was well groomed. Also, the Lily pads are very prominent and are great for pictures.

This green natural space does have a pond, but Id say the walking trails around it are the best features. The foliage grows pretty tall, and there is a lot of birdsong in nice weather. The parking lot is a small dirt area that fits two vehicles. The paths themselves are not wheelchair accessible, but one could sit near the edge of the parking area and still be near the wildlife and green stuff.

Kettle Pond is very accessible, but never crowded. Park at the corner of Old Middleton Rd and Norman Way and take one of the obvious trails down toward the pond. Ive seen turtles, deer, and more birds than I can identify here. Its quiet and peaceful, and small enough to walk around in 15 minutes or so.

Good for wild mulberry and raspberry picking. No dogs allowed which is kind of sad. Great for cool summer breezes and seeing ducks. Unfortunately the wildlife clears out in the winter for the most part.

Very nice, much larger than you think it is from just looking at the front of it. Theres a trail, although dinner parts are overgrown. Nice pond and dock.

Kettle Pond Park is a little neighborhood natural area with tiny pond and dock. Its perfect for a short bit of nature to reset your mental state. There are many entrances to the park along many of the streets that dead end into it. These paths all lead to a path that circles the pond.
